Ammoa Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort

New, calm, good for kids, great views, good food.

Service is lacking. Examples: 1) We got charged 50EUR for the mini bar without using it. We have told the responsible person about it, but still. 2) At dinners every time it was a struggle to convince the waiters that our three families should sit together. 3) Orders are slow too (at both restaurant and at the beach). 4) There are no proper way to dry your swim suits or towels on the balconies. We asked for some kind of hangers, but nothing happened. 5) Reception needs improvement. When paying at checkout especially, definitely ask for proper invoices with items listed. They like to write a number on a sticky note and promise you to send you the invoices per email. Later you can find out surprises and trust me, they will not correct them or address them even.

The hotel is a bit secluded and away from a town (you need to drive).

Overall the hotel is big and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly.
You need to pay for everything that you see, even for water. Paying for dinner is €45 p.p.
Honestly the food is low in quality. There are MANY bees outside, so impossible to eat outside.
They also can help you renting a boat or finding activities to do outside the hotel.

I recently stayed at Ammoa Hotel for 10 days and overall, it was an average experience. The rooms are good, spacious, and clean, providing a comfortable stay. However, we had issues with the housekeeping service as the towels were not changed regularly.

For families, it's important to note that there is no kids' room or activities for children. Additionally, there are no shows or entertainment options for either adults or kids, which was quite disappointing.

The service at the hotel leaves much to be desired. Although there are buttons on the beach to call for a waiter to place orders the waiters dont come. Furthermore, there is no free water available, and the coffee is of poor quality, made with salty water. The breakfast menu is very basic and repetitive; during our 10-day stay, the breakfast offerings did not change at all.

The beach access is also a downside, as the entry into the water is rocky and uncomfortable. The hotel's location next to a busy road means you can hear cars passing by constantly, which can be quite disruptive.

On the positive side, it is a place where you can get a good rest if you're looking for a simple getaway. However, there are several areas where improvements are needed.
