We stayed here in June and had a great vacation! I'm convinced this is one of the best hotels on the island - new, clean and with enough sun beds for all guests. Rooms were cleaned daily and service was excellent. Some guests from an island nation were loud at night, but I still slept well. Highly recommend!

If you know what to expect you won't get disappointed. The rooms are old and not worth it. But at least you get room service and all you can eat buffet (if you provided to get the full/half board). The side view room have a good view of the beach and the small islands. I'd say if you find cheaper places go anywhere else. Don't expect a 4 star hotel.

Astir plainly offers what you pay for. The facility has seen its better days, but that's pretty much its only/main con. We stayed for one week and it was really nice. The furniture is a bit old, it's true, but it was no problem at all. Good cleaning, the same breakfast every day, they don't allow you to put 2 tables next to each other in order to sit 4 people, you have to pay extra for the AC, wifi just on the lobby area, no TV connection. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I’m only gonna review its pool bar, Lagana Breeze. And I have nothing bad to say about it! Love the bartender Tony, he was always nice to us. Drinks are reasonably priced, the food is okay, the water in the pool is always nice. Open till the night, pool only till dusk. We’ve met our dear dear friends at Lagana Breeze. So grateful we discovered it.

The room was good. Service was awesome. Location perfect (5 min walk from the beach). The pool looked empty and fairly quiet just at night there was some people riding quads outside. Only negative I would point out is that you have to pay extra for air con.
