Best Hotels in Balatonfured

 The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly

 In summary, I enjoyed a very pleasant break whilst my husband was working very hard in the heat!  We would definitely recommend in low season but in July and August may be more suitable if you have children!

The location is very good with many small shops and restaurants nearby and the Balaton is just about 30-40 meters from the Hotel

 The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city

The breakfast and dinner are good by 3 star standards although there is competition for the popular dishes and at peak times it is very difficult to get a table or drinks

this used to be the case and is no longer the case! There is also very little to do in the evening! In the evening you can enjoy an aperitif that is free of charge! Upstairs you can drink a cocktail for a fee, which I understand is a fee, but it's a shame that you pay almost 1 euro for service costs! Furthermore, it is wonderful that you have such a large lake and a large garden with lots of shade...

The restaurant is open until 9:30 PM and after that you can't eat anything, which is a shame for an all-in hotel! Maybe some chips or salami or a dessert or even a piece of fruit downstairs? When you walk in the park you see nothing but children peeing everywhere! Yesterday a child shouted 'I'm going to do pee', he just stood in the public shower in the garden and peed in the shower, the mother had...

We really like Hotel Marina, we are returning guests as a family with two small children. The staff is amazing! Everyone from the reception to the restaurant is very kind and helpful

The hotel is all-inclusive, and eating and drinking are very convenient. The swimming pool is free. The room is a bit simple, but it is very cost-effective in the Lake Balaton area.

Primarily because of them :), and secondly because of the Balaton summer, the delicious food and the clean rooms, I heartily recommend Hotel Marina

Our room was on the 3rd floor and didn't have wifi access. It was some kind of connection problem. They tried their best to accommodate us, and they offered a new room on the second floor, which had wifi

The walls and not thin, soundproofing are really good! The bathroom is refurbished, everything is new. The bed was comfortable, the bed linen was clean, smelling fresh

Breakfast and dinner were served partially as a buffet – in the morning there was bread, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, and fruit, plus the option to order from a fixed menu (around 8–9 dishes)

Excelente hotel. Very confortável rooms. The are heated swining pools inside and a big outdoor pool (this one is not heated) . The food at the restaurant is also good. Very good price/value

The good thing is that Balton offers excellent recreation opportunities not only in summer, and this place is open all year round

The Hotel Club Füred is a not very large, rather family-friendly hotel, with many excellent services: wellness (several types of sauna, swimming pool), bowling, bike rental, tennis courts, mini golf, private beach for those coming in the summer (we were in the fall), etc

The best part was the beautiful garden by the lake. Rooms are clean and staff was helpful. There are a few saunas and a swimming pool too. Half-board was included in our room rate (diner & breakfast)

We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the hotel. We can only recommend and praise the hotel and the atmosphere!! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the garden is beautiful. The atmosphere is also very kind and helpful

We spent a few days here with our grown-up son. Everything about the hotel, the garden, and the Balaton beach are wonderful. The food is very delicious and tasty. A suggestion for the future, maybe a jacuzzi

We were happy with the food and appreciated that they had several vegetarian options. Location: The hotel is a bit further from the center (coffee shops, bars, restaurants) but is close to a shopping mall

We had a good time here, the kids loved it. Friendly staff, rooms were very decent and the AC kept us cool. The pool outside, the sauna etc are all excellent and clean

WiFi in apt is fast and can support streaming. ALDI supermarket is 200m walking and train station 250m behind good bakery

Third floor apt 32 is for 4 clean 55 + square space with balcony view of a lake. 19) and Bernedette helped with advices what and where to see and eat. She is very knowledgeable and real asset person at this hotel

Balatonfured is the prettiest, full of photo ops with long park next to the lake real pleasure to visit and stroll

Cozy hotel with a nice restourant, staff speaks German. It is located right in tge center of Balatonfüred so excellent for experiencing and enjoying the spirit of the town.

It had yoghurt, cereals, whole apples and oranges, jam, honey, cold cuts, cheese, different type of breads, sweet baked goods and a Lavazza coffee machine

When there during the week early September I was the only guest and there was only one elderly man present, who took came of everything, from reception to breakfast. He spoke German, but wasn't very talkative

I was in the room 12 and it was very confortable. The bed was amazing I fell asleep very fast and I woke up to bird sing. The staff was very helpful and food was tasty. This hotel is situated near the center

Great hotel and service! A thing to keep in mind when booking is that there is no elevator but otherwise great rooms. The breakfast and dinners are also great!

Ridiculously good stay at this unique place. 5 star hotel at 3 star prices. It's a proper boutique hotel not one of the nasty 80s style ones you can stay in for the same price. We stayed in a room with a nice balcony

Kind and happy staff. They were very helpful. The rooms were okay at best. I had to have a shower while fully bending over, that was quite uncomfortable. They had 0-24 saunas and a 0-24 outdoor pool.

And of course there is a very good coffee available. The sound isolation is not great. The bathroom did not have any lock inside. Overall I am happy with choosing to stay here

Very helpful staff, sumptuous breakfast, peaceful atmosphere. We are in Füred because of a running competition, so we asked for an early breakfast, which was fulfilled without batting an eye

What makes the location perfect is the fact that is just a few minutes walk to the lake. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. They cook eggs any style you want

Stayed here in Summer 2019 and it was glorious. The mini houses were fun and well air-conditioned. 10 minute walk from the beach. Tennis courts which were good for my husband and kids to practise on

The hotel specifically is just breathtaking; from the details of the furniture to the crispy fresh croissant in breakfast, or Hugo the cute dog that is resting peacefully in the yard. The staff is very kind and welcoming

The rooms are nice and the small pool is nice, but there is no kitchen or dining area. You can't even make a clinking coffee. The common dining room was closed due to covid

It's not comfortable if the apartments don't have at least a kitchenette. For those who do not need this, the place is 5 stars in terms of value for money

Ansonsten ist es auch mit Kindern (5 und 8 Jahre) alles Fussläufig erreichbar. Wir sind jeden Abend an die Promenade gelaufen und morgens zum Bäcker und es war vollkommen problemfrei

- professional but glacial hosts, I felt a nuisance more than a customer: the worst was when I asked if it was possible to wash my cloths (so I would stay longer), and she gave me the address of a laundry!!! I was the only guest, and I found a standard breakfast with a lot of things that I didn't eat

+ nice modern accomodation in a quiet residential area + lot of space in the closets and shelves + comfy bed, even if a bit noisy due to its springs + super clean + great wifi speed + private fenced parking + friendly cuddly cat, at least

I tried the day before to talk about it, and the answer was "it's from 8 to 10", period. No other chances to have a minimal conversations with them, apart the initial talk with the owner about few places nearby
