Where to stay with pets in Eger

The rooms were clean and very nice, full of positive energy. We got to spend a lot of time in the Wellness area which we really enjoyed, there are saunas, swimming pools, massage area, whirlpool, aromatherapy etc

Very nice place to stay. Delicious food, excellent welness and historical town. And of course a plenty of wine. There are so many reasons to go back 💋

Nice hotel, We stayed at the new section, rooms with cute balcony, very good spa area (swimming pool, saunas, kids pool and jacuzzi), private parking place. Very close to the center and shopping center

Location is good, couple of minutes from the centre. Breakfast - and especially dinner (included in our case) were fantastic. Staff at reception - all right, efficient and friendly

We were play the bowling, billard every year and little party all family. Stuff and quality is perfect. Every time is smiling and fun with us. Big love recomendation from Gregory Peck

The historical castle is 800 m from the hotel, play room for the kids, live music in Saturday night, 45 cm baby pool, everything was perfect to travel and stay there with a 9 months old 👶 I was here one year ago with the baby in my belly and we will come back again

So the catering is 5 the infra is 1, the cleanliness is 2. The staff friendliness and helpfulness are 4

TV in the room has few Hungarian, but several German and Slavic language channels. Downtown is max 10 mins walk, really refreshing. Overall stay was exceptional, thank you very much for the great time!

Nice hotel near the university, and the city center. The bathrooms are not very modern, but the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super helpful, and the wellness part of the hotel is also great.

Lobby bar has friendly staff and authentic cocktails. Bathrobes for rent are available for cheap price. However free of charge to rent, bring a hairdryer as they are not installed in the bathrooms

Clean room with shower gel and shampoo included. Separate towels for outside pools and wellness too. Fine dining cuisine, 2 soups and 3-4 main dishes for half-board menu, vegetarian options

Breakfast is hearty (Hungarian style) with drinks included. Excellent hotel personnel, free to stay until 12:00 if your room is not immediately occupied after your stay

I was surprised that the hotel for a wellness holiday (also) did not indicate that there would be a wedding and lagzi. I pointed out to the reception that our window looked directly into the living room

I doubt we'll be able to sleep peacefully. They apologized for not talking and not paying attention when booking the stay. It was noted that this is always taken into account and the rooms are organized in this way

I am very careful when choosing a hotel, and in this case I did the same. I read reviews here and on Accommodation. I will not anticipate, but I will note the disadvantages described and count on them

I have not encountered any of the negatives ever described here. Accommodation clean laundry and environment. All the staff were kind and attentive

Breakfast was at the level of a 4-star hotel, although the fruit was really not very welcome. We spent three nights there in the attic

We had a lovely time in this hotel. Everything is easily accessible. Because its located in the center of the town. Very comfortable, clean with super friendly staff. Has a private parking possibility what we preferred

The warm food is also cold, every day. The food quality is like in the cheapest "tálcatologatós" in the suburbs (or worse) I can't understand where did they got their 4 stars

Comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere. Both breakfast and dinner are plentiful and delicious. You can really switch off in the wellness area. The masseuse is professional.

In these Covid times, there was almost no effort made to encourage distancing or sanitising, particularly in the buffet restaurant. We had a sizeable room with good bathroom facilities

Convenient access of the motorway E71, located close to the historical part of Eger, close to city Park, free access to the town's thermal baths and swimming pool. Their thermal pools, variety of saunas

I guess there was ceiling cooling. So you do not feel immediate reaction when selecting the coolest setting on the control panel, it takes a while, but the room temperature turned really nice cool by the end of a hot day

I would probably prefer next time a room with balcony. We stayed at a room with access to the patio, but you have less privacy due to people using a small pool located in the patio

The food was great, although the menu is short, but each meal was tasty and the portion was good. But the best part is the spa and wellness area. The size of the pool and sauna area is excellent for a hotel of this size

One of the greatest adult-friendly hotels in Hungary. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Spa is relatively big with different pools and saunas. There is a free of charge option to go to Eger city spa as well

The rooms are modern and clean, but maintenance is poor. The bed was comfortable but too soft for me. Extra pillow and blankets were provided too. The shower was great, maybe the best I had in a hotel so far

This place deserves 6 stars! Beautiful rooms. Very very clean. WONDERFUL staff! Best location in Eger. Very good breakfast (can be a little richer but nothing to be disappointed about). We felt so spoiled:)

This was our first weekend spent together in a hotel, and overall we were satisfied. To start with the cons: the walls are extremely thin and you can literally hear everything from the next room

Also the place needs a redesign or a renewal since some items look a bit old, used. Otherwise everything was nice. The food was delicious except the chicken meals which were too dry

Very nice place. However one should wait quite a long time in the restaurant to be served despite few visitors present at the facility.

The wine offered for free was surprisingly tasty. The wellness is very crowded during the day, but the pools and the sauna are nice

The best hotel in the Eger. The tunnels are very specialy and the tunnels connect the hotels with the reception and the pool

To sum up, there are some issues with the place, so picky people with higher exceptions should avoid it

Great hotel with pretty nice service. The wellness section is OK and the wine cellars next to the hotel are amazing. The only bad thing is the basement rooms view looks more to the parking lot then the cellars

The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood"

The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. We would recommend to stay here

At dinner, 2 small appetizers , 3 main courses + garnish, 2 small cookies to choose from. The salad bar does not exist, instead it was the same 3 salads for 2 days with 3 changing dressings

The front desk also has an employee, torn black jeans, and a blue nike slipper that doesn't fit there at all 🤭 On arrival we were a lovely young man, on the second day this torn young man in jeans, on the day of our journey a lovely lady! These are “little things,” but they matter a lot

If you already have a Mini bar, a bottle opener wouldn’t hurt the room either! For breakfast, the standard can of jam, the candied Hey-ho juice, the 5 pieces of fruit offered in a small bowl, the dinner with the roasted nokedli, garnished with rice-bizi and mashed potatoes are far from the concept of healthy food

Good location and good-sized rooms. Clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, some details in the bathrooms need attention. Good but limited breakfast buffet (no fruit or yoghurt). Good value.

The food and dining experience in general was the best part about this hotel. The quality of the rooms should be brought up to the quality of the restaurant

It is a beautiful view of the city from their terrace. The main tourist attractions just minutes away! I highly recommend this place! It is a hidden gemstone of Hungary!

This hotel can be described as one big warm hug. The husband and wife owners man the front desk and are honestly the sweetest hosts

My husband also let them know he collects money and wanted to find some of the old Hungarian notes and to our surprise and pleasure the next night the owners gifted my husband some of their own old currency

The location was perfectly situated on Market Square near some lovely restaurants which made us feel like we were a part of the excitement of the city

They both speak German and a little English which was great as we know a little bit more German than we do hungarian

This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown

Quiet hotel at 5 min walk to the castle, baths or center. Very kind and smiling staff. Tasty and affordable restaurant although was closed a bit early

Staff was really friendly and service minded. They prepared the sauna and jacuzzi for use and we received muffins upon check-out. Rooms are a bit dated, but facilities are nevertheless still fine

The room and the bathroom were full of long black hair and rolled up portigris on the carpet. At least the bed is comfortable. Breakfast? It should be enough that all the "clean" cutlery is stuck

The big press machine is just a decoration. The sticky little plastic bin is not a clean spot on the breakfast table either. :( for this price I can also get a colorful and fragrant room in the Park

Somewhere in the nineties, it got a bit of glamour. The crystal chandelier in the restaurant is very impressive, and it exudes sparkle. Expensive accommodation compared to social real services

Unfortunately, the off-white towels were stained. There was no remote control for the 28 cm camping TV, the buttons of which also worked back and forth

The best part is the hotel is just beside the Szépasszonyvölgy (Lovely Lady Valley), which is a beautiful valley of cellars built into the hills where you can drink the renowned local wine! Definitely try the Egri Bikaver and the Leanyka

The rooms are clean, large enough, also the bathrooms. It's clearly seen that the place was designed deliberately to offer a calm and nice environment for a stay in the famous and beautiful city of Eger

We spent two days there with the family, but seriously considering just to stay for a week and relax. It is a good walk from downtown, but the wine cellars are within a short walking distance

Great place to stay in Eger. Very clean, tidy, spacious rooms for very reasonable price. Rooms come with AC and English speaking staff is very helpful.

He let us choose our room, gave us a reasonable rate, told us where we could find food and fun, was flexible on check-out time, and was overall one of our top hospitality experiences in Hungary

The hotel and rooms have minimal amenities but are very large with extremely comfortable bedding. Windows are big and compliment the room well

We had to make a late night walk-in booking, and the manager was incredibly helpful and friendly

There is only one wardrobe with two compartment. The bathroom is also nice, although the shower door was leaking, even closed so there was a little puddle after the shower. And it may have been only one time issue

And they did this knowing full well that there will be people returning late at night, even around 3-4 AM. It took several phone class and roughly 30 minutes for the staff to send someone to open the door
