Nice hotel close to the nature. The hotel and the wellness were both clean and demanding. The staff was nice and helpful. We also tried the massage, it was pretty relaxing.

Nice hotel, rooms are lovely and clean. The only downside is that the staff just don't feel so friendly. We didn't get any help with exploring the local area and they didn't feel very approachable. We had two spa treatments. One was great the other was just okay. We would stay here again for sure it's just not a place that will 'amaze' you.

A friendly, family owned hotel within 7 min walking distance to the centre of Eger. WiFi throughout the hotel, spa, and… a Beatles museum! What is not to like? Under the hotel you find cosy win cellars where wine tasting is arranged. I recommend you exploring local red and white wine, not least the famous Egri bikavér!

Very nice and cozy hotel only a few minutes walk from beautiful Eger in a quite part far from any traffic noise. Rooms are nice, clean and comfy. Had a nice massage and swim in their wellness section. Big breakfast and had dinner a couple of times really good meals. The staff is really helpful.

Such a nice place, really loved my stay here! Very nice and helpful staff who told me everything I needed to know about getting around Eger. Nice beds, slept like a baby! Tasty food and a great breakfast. We also enjoyed the nice pool! Highly recommend this hotel in lovely Eger.

With family we are regular visitors of this hotel, wich is very conveniently placed and the staff is extremely kind, helpful in all aspects. The room is comfortable, after the recent renovation it looks more fresh and AC has improved also. I would like to specially recommend the Hungharina cousins and wines, independently time of visit.

We had a very good experience. Family hotel and it really feels they care about their guests. They were very helpful with information. The place itself is clean, well decorated and cozy. Breakfast was good.

We were a group and we stayed here for 1 night, things to note: -The staff is very helpful and nice and always smiling - The place is so relaxing and extremely clean. -Their breakfast is basic but very bice at the same time. -I recommend using the SPA the jacuzzi was good with a view over the garden. - It has free WiFi -Sparko, one of the cuttest dogs live in there 🐕❤️

Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was clean. The food was delicious. The wellness is big and clean. The kids really liked the pools. There were children's programs almost all day. Nice and calm environment.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We were satisfied with everything, except for the fact that the treadmill didn't function in the gym. The spa with the outdoor pools is exceptional, the view of the salt hill is breathtaking. Staff could smile more, but they are polite and helpful. Great place for relaxing and for going on excursions in the nearby mountains.

The hotel is great. The spa is very nice. The inly problem is that most of the elevators were out of order during our stay.

The rooms and hotel facilities are a bit old. The children's activity center is a small room. The swimming pool is connected indoors and outdoors, and there are too many people. You can take a rest in the hot spring swimming pool nearby, but that's it. It's not necessary to come here specially. It's better to go to the area around Lake Balaton.

I was there in the middle of the week for two nights with my partner. The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good. Nice hotel, good service. The only negative I may mention that the hotel itself is a little garish with many artificial lamps, decorations, curtains and statues. I found this too artificial. I prefer natural materials, ornaments and simplicity in the outfit.

For a start, the hotel was built more than 100 years ago, more precisely in the 1920s. The hotel has a wellness spa center with indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, bungalows by the outdoor pool ... On the ground floor of the main building is a winery with a large selection of its own wines. On the second floor there is a large and perfectly decorated restaurant. And food ... food is what will delight...

Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

Hard to rate it because of the huge contrasts. Unbelievably abundant and delicious food but totally worn-out and old infra everywhere. They just can't keep it clean. So the catering is 5 the infra is 1, the cleanliness is 2. The staff friendliness and helpfulness are 4.

This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown. You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built. Comfortable clean rooms and friendly helpful customer service. The wellness area has multiple pools all of them with jacuzzi. Do not get the half board!!! Breakfast is ok but the lunch and dinner options are extremely limited and boring. All deserts taste like flowers and nothing really Hungarian. We got sick from the spices. Eat outside instead.

Great hotel with pretty nice service. The wellness section is OK and the wine cellars next to the hotel are amazing. The only bad thing is the basement rooms view looks more to the parking lot then the cellars

The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood". The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. We would recommend to stay here.

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city. The exterior of the hotel seems to have been renovated, so it was a bit different from the interior, but there was a breakfast buffet and it was a comfortable stay.

I booked 6 rooms, we came to Eger with 12 people for a team building. The rooms were quite old, retro / old school. The rooms were clean. The hotel was in the city center, easily accessible.
