Room was expensive (41600huf/117eur) yet we received no cleaning during the 3 days we spent there and we got charged even for the parking. Food was great, the staff is kind and nice, room was clean, however there is not much of a wellness (1 outside pool, 2 inside + a jakuzzi. Nice place, greate food

Nice hotel close to the nature. The hotel and the wellness were both clean and demanding. The staff was nice and helpful. We also tried the massage, it was pretty relaxing.

We had a lovely time in this hotel. Everything is easily accessible. Because its located in the center of the town. Very comfortable, clean with super friendly staff. Highly recommended. Has a private parking possibility what we preferred. We were very happy with everything

An acceptable hotel and overall a good experience. The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff. In these Covid times, there was almost no effort made to encourage distancing or sanitising, particularly in the buffet restaurant. We had a sizeable room with good bathroom facilities. The wellness area was quite well-equipped.

Room: 3 Room is nice, but the tech is old, TV channels only Hungarians (and from those only the rubbish ones. Air conditioning is there, but not cooling a bit, and only "the boss" can regulate it. So its like you wouldn't have any. Location: 4 Close to center, but nothing fancy. Personnel: 4 Very kind, but they can not do much if you ask for any change. Comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere. Both breakfast and dinner are plentiful and delicious. You can really switch off in the wellness area. The masseuse is professional.

Great place to stay! Calm, clean, friendly and food is great.

We were a group and we stayed here for 1 night, things to note: -The staff is very helpful and nice and always smiling - The place is so relaxing and extremely clean. -Their breakfast is basic but very bice at the same time. -I recommend using the SPA the jacuzzi was good with a view over the garden. - It has free WiFi -Sparko, one of the cuttest dogs live in there 🐕❤️

Spacious house with a very nice garden and wellness area. Rooms and inner spaces were clean and the owner was helpful.

Clean, well-equipped accommodation, quiet, close to nature. Extra demands (larger cookware) were not a problem either 🙏 I recommend all to relax property!

Good place have a jacuzzi sauna and vapor-bath.Deliocus breakfast.

Modern furnitures in the well-equipped rooms but the place is not yet ready to have more than one guest. What we got was 7(!!!) scratches on our car from another guest and no help as there is no camera in the parking place, and a night without enough sleep caused by a snoring neighbour and a wall not thick enough.

there are pools for senior but no one from the hotel stuff cares about it, and they are full of children whos makes a lot of noise. Very enoying

The thermal park is amazing, but I've got feet fungus after a day visit :(. It is difficult to use slippers inside because of the park's architecture - you enter the pool inside, but exit outside and then you have to cross an area to enter another pool. A couple of times, I walked barefoot (on tiptoe). Now I have to cure fungus on my skin on the area where my feet touched the floor. Don't be lazy,...

We only used their spa facility. Many pools, nicely maintained. Separate cold-warm water pools to improve your circulation! Such a shame that the salt-hill next to the hotel is severely neglected, looks dirty and pretty awful now.

Can't speak of hotel itself - I came only for spa. Thermal spa is available for public, not just hotel guests. There are many pools with different attractions and different water temperatures. On Saturday the place was quite full even in October. But, warm and sunny October nevertheless. There is a children section with slide, jacuzzi, massage showers. For spa I'm giving 5 stars. Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

Hard to rate it because of the huge contrasts. Unbelievably abundant and delicious food but totally worn-out and old infra everywhere. They just can't keep it clean. So the catering is 5 the infra is 1, the cleanliness is 2. The staff friendliness and helpfulness are 4.

One of the greatest adult-friendly hotels in Hungary. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Spa is relatively big with different pools and saunas. There is a free of charge option to go to Eger city spa as well. Both breakfast and dinner are fantastic. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Amongst my favorite hotels of the country, highly recommended.

The rooms are modern and clean, but maintenance is poor. The bed was comfortable but too soft for me. Extra pillow and blankets were provided too. The shower was great, maybe the best I had in a hotel so far. The staff was polite and nice. The hotel itself looks modern but in some places in needs some maintenance. It's a 10 minute walking distance from the old city and the castle. The wellness section...

To say that it was good-nothing to say....all all all was super....the room is big with a large balcony...clean . all the rest silence...no children.Spa worthy of praise special..decent massage..and dinner is a different story....each dish is a work of art....I recommend to all.

We had a really good long weekend at Hotel Imola Platán. The hotel is really quiet and clean. The staff is helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious for this size of hotel and well equipped. Great hotel with pretty nice service. The wellness section is OK and the wine cellars next to the hotel are amazing. The only bad thing is the basement rooms view looks more to the parking lot then the cellars

The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood". The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. We would recommend to stay here.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the bed was comfy. The pool was cold but refreshing on a very hot day.

This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown. You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built. Even during Covid they are creative to offer some drinks outside for the tourists...

Fantastic tasty Hungarian food, excellent service. Probably the prices a bit high, but it's in a central location. Card payment accepted without any issue. Waiters speak German, English and of course Hungarian. Highly recommended for a nice dinner!

The food and dining experience in general was the best part about this hotel. The quality of the rooms should be brought up to the quality of the restaurant. But everything was fine the staff is kind and energetic in general.

Good location and good-sized rooms. Clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, some details in the bathrooms need attention. Good but limited breakfast buffet (no fruit or yoghurt). Good value.

We had a pleasant stay here. Staff was really friendly and service minded. They prepared the sauna and jacuzzi for use and we received muffins upon check-out. Rooms are a bit dated, but facilities are nevertheless still fine. Would come back when around.

Quiet hotel at 5 min walk to the castle, baths or center. Very kind and smiling staff. Tasty and affordable restaurant although was closed a bit early

Great customer experience. People working in the reception are amazing - very friendly, helpfull and just...warm:) They made our stay in Eger much better. Also - rooms are clean and nice looking, they have AC, breakfast is ok (one of the best scrumbeld eggs I ate in a hotel!). At the end of the stay we got muffins that were just delicious:) Thanks!!!
