Hotels with pool in Eger

PARKING - because on Friday evening there was a private event in the hotel and those guests came there with their cars, those of us who were accommodated and arrived later in the afternoon apparently did not get any more places; at the suggestion of the receptionist we finally parked on the property, but in a place where the car was not safe; 2

NOISE - on the first night we could not rest because of a constant noise produced by the air passing through a pipe in front of the balcony of room 212 - at the reception we were told that we could only change our room the next day because there were no others available; regarding the noise - any movement in the hallway or in the neighboring rooms could be heard quite loudly and was disturbing; in...

We chose this hotel to enjoy a weekend in Hungary. Unfortunately, it was the first time we traveled to the neighboring country and our expectations were disappointed (we have been traveling abroad since 1996)

My only concern was with my bedroom which was a single room but very small. The bathroom was even smaller and you could hardly use the shower due to its size and I am not the largest person

I know my room was small and for me it was inadequate but my colleagues had different views on the bedrooms as they had no concerns so I must have been unlucky

Not one TV channel was in English so had to use my laptop instead

Clean room with shower gel and shampoo included. Separate towels for outside pools and wellness too. Fine dining cuisine, 2 soups and 3-4 main dishes for half-board menu, vegetarian options

Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

TV in the room has few Hungarian, but several German and Slavic language channels. Downtown is max 10 mins walk, really refreshing. Overall stay was exceptional, thank you very much for the great time!

Nice hotel near the university, and the city center. The bathrooms are not very modern, but the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super helpful, and the wellness part of the hotel is also great.

Lobby bar has friendly staff and authentic cocktails. Bathrobes for rent are available for cheap price. However free of charge to rent, bring a hairdryer as they are not installed in the bathrooms

Breakfast is hearty (Hungarian style) with drinks included. Excellent hotel personnel, free to stay until 12:00 if your room is not immediately occupied after your stay

But I understand, since the first one came suddenly, it was a good time this year, the day before they also filled the outdoor pool

Food was great, the staff is kind and nice, room was clean, however there is not much of a wellness (1 outside pool, 2 inside + a jakuzzi

They were immediately offered a room with a far balcony, which was larger. That's how we slept super. Unfortunately the pool bar was not open

I doubt we'll be able to sleep peacefully. They apologized for not talking and not paying attention when booking the stay. It was noted that this is always taken into account and the rooms are organized in this way

Fantastically good place!!! Nice staff, delicious food, clean rooms! The environment is great. The Valley of the Beautiful Woman is not to be missed! I recommend it to everyone, don't be disappointed! 😍👍❤️😍

I was surprised that the hotel for a wellness holiday (also) did not indicate that there would be a wedding and lagzi. I pointed out to the reception that our window looked directly into the living room

The hotel is clean and tidy. The staff is nice. The lunch and dinner are delicious.

Comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere. Both breakfast and dinner are plentiful and delicious. You can really switch off in the wellness area. The masseuse is professional.

In these Covid times, there was almost no effort made to encourage distancing or sanitising, particularly in the buffet restaurant. We had a sizeable room with good bathroom facilities

An acceptable hotel and overall a good experience. The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff

Room: 3 Room is nice, but the tech is old, TV channels only Hungarians (and from those only the rubbish ones. Air conditioning is there, but not cooling a bit, and only "the boss" can regulate it

The wine offered for free was surprisingly tasty. The wellness is very crowded during the day, but the pools and the sauna are nice

The best hotel in the Eger. The tunnels are very specialy and the tunnels connect the hotels with the reception and the pool

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the bed was comfy. The pool was cold but refreshing on a very hot day.

This was our first weekend spent together in a hotel, and overall we were satisfied. To start with the cons: the walls are extremely thin and you can literally hear everything from the next room

Also the place needs a redesign or a renewal since some items look a bit old, used. Otherwise everything was nice. The food was delicious except the chicken meals which were too dry

Very nice place. However one should wait quite a long time in the restaurant to be served despite few visitors present at the facility.

I stayed in the hotel with American friends. The rooms are small but super cozy and romantic! They offer a great breakfast. Their menu covers many delicious Hungarian and other unique dishes

This hotel can be described as one big warm hug. The husband and wife owners man the front desk and are honestly the sweetest hosts

The location was perfectly situated on Market Square near some lovely restaurants which made us feel like we were a part of the excitement of the city

It is a beautiful view of the city from their terrace. The main tourist attractions just minutes away! I highly recommend this place! It is a hidden gemstone of Hungary!

On check in they were able to recommend a few places we should visit and be honest about others that may have been "boring" 😄 ❤

My husband also let them know he collects money and wanted to find some of the old Hungarian notes and to our surprise and pleasure the next night the owners gifted my husband some of their own old currency

Staff at reception spoke decent English, helped us with recommendations for wineries and arranged taxi to the valley. On the flip side, AC in the room didn’t work for cooling once it was +30 degrees outside

Great location right under the castle walls. The rooms were very nice and modern like they have been renovated recently. Very quiet location so it was very easy to sleep at night and the rooms and bed were nice and clean

Great location, literally just steps from the Castle and walking distance to everything downtown. Very easy walk from the train station if you travel light. The view from the balcony is really nice

Both rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms (and bathroom) were clean and invitingly decorated

Finally, the included breakfast, while simple, was extremely tasty -- I have never had better scrambled eggs in my life! I highly recommend this hotel!

While the hotel itself is not located right in the middle of the old town square, it is a quick five-minute walk to the square

One of the greatest adult-friendly hotels in Hungary. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Spa is relatively big with different pools and saunas. There is a free of charge option to go to Eger city spa as well

I would probably prefer next time a room with balcony. We stayed at a room with access to the patio, but you have less privacy due to people using a small pool located in the patio

The rooms are modern and clean, but maintenance is poor. The bed was comfortable but too soft for me. Extra pillow and blankets were provided too. The shower was great, maybe the best I had in a hotel so far

The staff was polite and nice. The hotel itself looks modern but in some places in needs some maintenance. It's a 10 minute walking distance from the old city and the castle

I truly loved that you can have a drink in the Jacuzzi. Excellent for couples to enjoy one another.

The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. We would recommend to stay here

The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood"

The front desk also has an employee, torn black jeans, and a blue nike slipper that doesn't fit there at all 🤭 On arrival we were a lovely young man, on the second day this torn young man in jeans, on the day of our journey a lovely lady! These are “little things,” but they matter a lot

For breakfast, the standard can of jam, the candied Hey-ho juice, the 5 pieces of fruit offered in a small bowl, the dinner with the roasted nokedli, garnished with rice-bizi and mashed potatoes are far from the concept of healthy food

There are quality elements in the equipment, but in the same way you may encounter design flaws (conversely, connected hot and cold taps, light switches behind the bath door, unusable design reading lamps, etc

We also indicated this in advance by phone / e-mail / at the reception upon arrival! In comparison, apart from a delicious juice, my couple couldn’t eat either a main course or a dessert at our first dinner

Good location and good-sized rooms. Clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, some details in the bathrooms need attention. Good but limited breakfast buffet (no fruit or yoghurt). Good value.

The food and dining experience in general was the best part about this hotel. The quality of the rooms should be brought up to the quality of the restaurant

Quiet hotel at 5 min walk to the castle, baths or center. Very kind and smiling staff. Tasty and affordable restaurant although was closed a bit early

Air condition keeps the room cool even under extreme heat. Location is great with walking distance to the thermal bath and Dobo ter which is the centre of town

We spent two days there with the family, but seriously considering just to stay for a week and relax. It is a good walk from downtown, but the wine cellars are within a short walking distance

The best part is the hotel is just beside the Szépasszonyvölgy (Lovely Lady Valley), which is a beautiful valley of cellars built into the hills where you can drink the renowned local wine! Definitely try the Egri Bikaver and the Leanyka

Excellent hotel for the price in eger with free breakfast, walking distance to everything (15 min downtown and two minutes to the valley of beautiful women ) restaurant and bar on site with fantastic and accommodating staff

The hotel is within walking distance to everything, including the train station (although the owner was kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off), the cobblestone town streets and market, cathedrals, and the castle

The rooms are clean, large enough, also the bathrooms. It's clearly seen that the place was designed deliberately to offer a calm and nice environment for a stay in the famous and beautiful city of Eger

The staff was very kind and helpful, The rooms were nice and clean. Downstairs there is an open area which is the restaurant, breakfast included there is a nice yard with bbq in the back
