Hotels with sauna in Eger

TV in the room has few Hungarian, but several German and Slavic language channels. Downtown is max 10 mins walk, really refreshing. Overall stay was exceptional, thank you very much for the great time!

Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

Nice hotel near the university, and the city center. The bathrooms are not very modern, but the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super helpful, and the wellness part of the hotel is also great.

Lobby bar has friendly staff and authentic cocktails. Bathrobes for rent are available for cheap price. However free of charge to rent, bring a hairdryer as they are not installed in the bathrooms

Clean room with shower gel and shampoo included. Separate towels for outside pools and wellness too. Fine dining cuisine, 2 soups and 3-4 main dishes for half-board menu, vegetarian options

Breakfast is hearty (Hungarian style) with drinks included. Excellent hotel personnel, free to stay until 12:00 if your room is not immediately occupied after your stay

Nice hotell. The room was cosy and modern. The restaurant was far from my room.

All facilities were in great state, and the style was kept in the entire building's baroque one

NOISE - on the first night we could not rest because of a constant noise produced by the air passing through a pipe in front of the balcony of room 212 - at the reception we were told that we could only change our room the next day because there were no others available; regarding the noise - any movement in the hallway or in the neighboring rooms could be heard quite loudly and was disturbing; in...

We chose this hotel to enjoy a weekend in Hungary. Unfortunately, it was the first time we traveled to the neighboring country and our expectations were disappointed (we have been traveling abroad since 1996)

PARKING - because on Friday evening there was a private event in the hotel and those guests came there with their cars, those of us who were accommodated and arrived later in the afternoon apparently did not get any more places; at the suggestion of the receptionist we finally parked on the property, but in a place where the car was not safe; 2

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is good, and the service communication is basically no problem. Bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna in the hotel

Eger is a must-see vacation destination for us. Hotel Imola Platan has been our favorite for years

I guess there was ceiling cooling. So you do not feel immediate reaction when selecting the coolest setting on the control panel, it takes a while, but the room temperature turned really nice cool by the end of a hot day

The address is between the train station and the old town, and there are almost no shops around. There is no kettle in the room, so if you are thirsty, you can only go to the hotel bar to solve it

Overall impression of the hotel is good. Spacious rooms and common areas, service was excellent, rooms nicely designed, big shower. The only thing I am not used to was the air conditioning

Breakfast is decent with a good selection, but rather repetitive from day to day. The spa area is very nice, with several saunas

The rooms are a bit dated in design. We had a room with large windows facing the street and sidewalk, and we're not sure the curtains there did much to help with our privacy. The appliances don't always work properly

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast and lunch had great variety but the quality was 3/5, except the coffee bar when it was open at lunch which was 5/5

Nice, friendly and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Everything is clean and the rooms are large enough for you to stay there, not just sleep and go out

There are snooker table and, I think, ping-pong table, but it's unclear where and how to get cues, balls, etc

The dinner in the cellar was 4/5 - very beautiful with large portions but the taste/quality was lacking

The wine offered for free was surprisingly tasty. The wellness is very crowded during the day, but the pools and the sauna are nice

This was our first weekend spent together in a hotel, and overall we were satisfied. To start with the cons: the walls are extremely thin and you can literally hear everything from the next room

Also the place needs a redesign or a renewal since some items look a bit old, used. Otherwise everything was nice. The food was delicious except the chicken meals which were too dry

Very nice place. However one should wait quite a long time in the restaurant to be served despite few visitors present at the facility.

The best hotel in the Eger. The tunnels are very specialy and the tunnels connect the hotels with the reception and the pool

To sum up, there are some issues with the place, so picky people with higher exceptions should avoid it

The Hotel has been tastefully designed, the colors are harmonious, the Wellness is cozy, the saunas are super, it is a good idea to have water with fruit in the jugs. Pleasant music is played everywhere

The front desk also has an employee, torn black jeans, and a blue nike slipper that doesn't fit there at all 🤭 On arrival we were a lovely young man, on the second day this torn young man in jeans, on the day of our journey a lovely lady! These are “little things,” but they matter a lot

For breakfast, the standard can of jam, the candied Hey-ho juice, the 5 pieces of fruit offered in a small bowl, the dinner with the roasted nokedli, garnished with rice-bizi and mashed potatoes are far from the concept of healthy food

There are quality elements in the equipment, but in the same way you may encounter design flaws (conversely, connected hot and cold taps, light switches behind the bath door, unusable design reading lamps, etc

The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. We would recommend to stay here

The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood"

We spent two days there with the family, but seriously considering just to stay for a week and relax. It is a good walk from downtown, but the wine cellars are within a short walking distance

The best part is the hotel is just beside the Szépasszonyvölgy (Lovely Lady Valley), which is a beautiful valley of cellars built into the hills where you can drink the renowned local wine! Definitely try the Egri Bikaver and the Leanyka

Excellent hotel for the price in eger with free breakfast, walking distance to everything (15 min downtown and two minutes to the valley of beautiful women ) restaurant and bar on site with fantastic and accommodating staff

The hotel is within walking distance to everything, including the train station (although the owner was kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off), the cobblestone town streets and market, cathedrals, and the castle

The rooms are clean, large enough, also the bathrooms. It's clearly seen that the place was designed deliberately to offer a calm and nice environment for a stay in the famous and beautiful city of Eger

Good location and good-sized rooms. Clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, some details in the bathrooms need attention. Good but limited breakfast buffet (no fruit or yoghurt). Good value.

The exterior of the hotel seems to have been renovated, so it was a bit different from the interior, but there was a breakfast buffet and it was a comfortable stay

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city

I booked 6 rooms, we came to Eger with 12 people for a team building. The rooms were quite old, retro / old school. The hotel was in the city center, easily accessible. The staff was nice, check-in was quick and easy

I stayed in the hotel with American friends. The rooms are small but super cozy and romantic! They offer a great breakfast. Their menu covers many delicious Hungarian and other unique dishes

This hotel can be described as one big warm hug. The husband and wife owners man the front desk and are honestly the sweetest hosts

The location was perfectly situated on Market Square near some lovely restaurants which made us feel like we were a part of the excitement of the city

It is a beautiful view of the city from their terrace. The main tourist attractions just minutes away! I highly recommend this place! It is a hidden gemstone of Hungary!

On check in they were able to recommend a few places we should visit and be honest about others that may have been "boring" 😄 ❤

My husband also let them know he collects money and wanted to find some of the old Hungarian notes and to our surprise and pleasure the next night the owners gifted my husband some of their own old currency

Tasty breakfasts, always a warm dish. However, the best is the location - 100 meters to the main street of route No. 25, but quiet as a poppy seed. Another 100 meters from the basilica, maybe 300 meters to the promenade

Still, a comfortable, quiet environment is within walking distance. The hosts are nice. The wellness area is very super. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to recharge physically and spiritually.

Cool atmospheric place, very peaceful. I was looking for a clean spot in the center and found it. Very nice young girls who run the guesthouse make the atmosphere friendly and very professional

15 minutes walk to the pools, 15 minutes to the Valley of the Beautiful Lady. I spent 6 beautiful days there with my little daughters

Nice and cozy bead and breakfast. Friendly staff with great scrumbled eggs in the morning.

Would be 4.5 stars. Great view nice food, reasonably close to the city centre. The rooms are a bit small but tidy and neat. Overall recommended if you don't look for pure luxury.

For people looking for quiet stay

Staff was really friendly and service minded. They prepared the sauna and jacuzzi for use and we received muffins upon check-out. Rooms are a bit dated, but facilities are nevertheless still fine

Also - rooms are clean and nice looking, they have AC, breakfast is ok (one of the best scrumbeld eggs I ate in a hotel!). At the end of the stay we got muffins that were just delicious:) Thanks!!!

Quiet hotel at 5 min walk to the castle, baths or center. Very kind and smiling staff. Tasty and affordable restaurant although was closed a bit early

People working in the reception are amazing - very friendly, helpfull and just. warm:) They made our stay in Eger much better

The big press machine is just a decoration. The sticky little plastic bin is not a clean spot on the breakfast table either. :( for this price I can also get a colorful and fragrant room in the Park

The room and the bathroom were full of long black hair and rolled up portigris on the carpet. At least the bed is comfortable. Breakfast? It should be enough that all the "clean" cutlery is stuck

Somewhere in the nineties, it got a bit of glamour. The crystal chandelier in the restaurant is very impressive, and it exudes sparkle. Expensive accommodation compared to social real services

Unfortunately, the off-white towels were stained. There was no remote control for the 28 cm camping TV, the buttons of which also worked back and forth

We had a very good experience. Family hotel and it really feels they care about their guests. They were very helpful with information. The place itself is clean, well decorated and cozy. Breakfast was good.

-Their breakfast is basic but very bice at the same time. -I recommend using the SPA the jacuzzi was good with a view over the garden. - It has free WiFi -Sparko, one of the cuttest dogs live in there 🐕❤️

Really nice people doing their best and knowing their task well. Small business run by enthusiasts - not so common nowadays; thus, much appreciated. Will definitely come back.
