Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.

Hard to rate it because of the huge contrasts. Unbelievably abundant and delicious food but totally worn-out and old infra everywhere. They just can't keep it clean. So the catering is 5 the infra is 1, the cleanliness is 2. The staff friendliness and helpfulness are 4.

Nice hotel close to the nature. The hotel and the wellness were both clean and demanding. The staff was nice and helpful. We also tried the massage, it was pretty relaxing.

Nice hotel, rooms are lovely and clean. The only downside is that the staff just don't feel so friendly. We didn't get any help with exploring the local area and they didn't feel very approachable. We had two spa treatments. One was great the other was just okay. We would stay here again for sure it's just not a place that will 'amaze' you.

I spent 3 days with my girlfriend at villa Volgy. It is placed 2 km from eger city centre. It is composed by three villas, a spa and a restaurant. An acceptable hotel and overall a good experience. The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff. In these Covid times, there was almost no effort made to encourage distancing or sanitising, particularly in the buffet restaurant. We had a sizeable room with good bathroom facilities. Room: 3 Room is nice, but the tech is old, TV channels only Hungarians (and from those only the rubbish ones. Air conditioning is there, but not cooling a bit, and only "the boss" can regulate it. One of the greatest adult-friendly hotels in Hungary. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Spa is relatively big with different pools and saunas. There is a free of charge option to go to Eger city spa as well. Both breakfast and dinner are fantastic. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The facilities were excellent and set in an idyllic location just around the corner from the famous wine caves/cellars serving "Eger Bull's Blood". The hotel restaurant is just across the road from the hotel and serves excellent food (and wine) and as a hotel guest you get a discount for dining between 7pm and 10pm. This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown. You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built. Even during Covid they are creative to offer some drinks outside for the tourists...

Fantastic tasty Hungarian food, excellent service. Probably the prices a bit high, but it's in a central location. Card payment accepted without any issue. Waiters speak German, English and of course Hungarian. Highly recommended for a nice dinner!

We tried this ace accidently with my girlfriend: we were juat amazed, like in a special museum.... the photos, the paintings on the walls. The service was excellent, food was 5/5 - opinion as a hungarian! :) Good price/value ratio. Recommended!

A 3 star pension. Clean place with comfortable beds, a private parking and very kind personell. The breakfast included everything and the terrace it is small but beautiful. There are some details that should get more attention though (like some doors that the colour has faced away for example).
