Great rooms, great pools, great food, great service!!!!! Cannot give enough praise! We loved every second there and wish we could have stayed longer. We visited in March. Reachable by bus or taxis for those without a car.

Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was clean. The food was delicious. The wellness is big and clean. The kids really liked the pools. There were children's programs almost all day. Nice and calm environment.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We were satisfied with everything, except for the fact that the treadmill didn't function in the gym. The spa with the outdoor pools is exceptional, the view of the salt hill is breathtaking. Staff could smile more, but they are polite and helpful. Great place for relaxing and for going on excursions in the nearby mountains.

Hotel as a hotel us good. Staff is very nice. But termal pool is public, so everyone from outside can come and bath. Cave bath is paid extra!

I was there in the middle of the week for two nights with my partner. The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good. The internal spa area is cozy, with all what is necessary to have a relaxing afternoon; in our case the last afternoon was ruined by a group of ladies who were partying in the spa, without being recalled...

The restaurant is excellent. Not a gourmet place, but flawless - it would be a 5 on its own. The enteriour of the hotel is very nice and it has a definite peculiarity - the place is extraordinary from this aspect. The cleaning however has some room for improvement - not bad at all, just not perfect. And the wine selection. There is a big local wine producer providing questionable quality wine and leaving...

Nice hotel, good service. The only negative I may mention that the hotel itself is a little garish with many artificial lamps, decorations, curtains and statues. I found this too artificial. I prefer natural materials, ornaments and simplicity in the outfit.

Nice hotel close to the nature. The hotel and the wellness were both clean and demanding. The staff was nice and helpful. We also tried the massage, it was pretty relaxing.

Nice hotel, rooms are lovely and clean. The only downside is that the staff just don't feel so friendly. We didn't get any help with exploring the local area and they didn't feel very approachable. We had two spa treatments. One was great the other was just okay. We would stay here again for sure it's just not a place that will 'amaze' you.

A friendly, family owned hotel within 7 min walking distance to the centre of Eger. WiFi throughout the hotel, spa, and… a Beatles museum! What is not to like? Under the hotel you find cosy win cellars where wine tasting is arranged. I recommend you exploring local red and white wine, not least the famous Egri bikavér!

Very nice and cozy hotel only a few minutes walk from beautiful Eger in a quite part far from any traffic noise. Rooms are nice, clean and comfy. Had a nice massage and swim in their wellness section. Big breakfast and had dinner a couple of times really good meals. The staff is really helpful.

With family we are regular visitors of this hotel, wich is very conveniently placed and the staff is extremely kind, helpful in all aspects. The room is comfortable, after the recent renovation it looks more fresh and AC has improved also. I would like to specially recommend the Hungharina cousins and wines, independently time of visit.

If you looking for a homie well welcomed place this is the one! We have stayed 2 nights, Hajni and Gabi are very kind and amazing hosts olso helped to choose the places what must see in Eger . We hade amazing time! Thank you we will be back!

The room is very well and modernly equipped, and guests also have access to a cozy garden with a perfect spot for enjoying an afternoon cup of coffee. The delicious and varied breakfasts deserve special praise. The atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly and family-like. I highly recommend it.

A hotel that has seen better days and deserves to represent the owner's spirit in a dignified manner. The food is delicious and plentiful, very friendly and service-oriented. It would be nice if such places remained, even with state support.

We were in the cheaper part, simple rooms with a balcony. The bathroom is quite small, it opens from a small hall. It has its own parking lot and spa pools, and a 15-meter swimming pool. The staff is kind and helpful. The half-board service is plentiful. There are quite a few treatments available. The appointment is kept exactly. It would need renovation. Not with children, otherwise I recommend it

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I loved the small intimate feel of the hotel itself. The outdoor spaces were nice and comfortable with different options to choose from. We had a great fresh breakfast every morning to start our day. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect! The welcome, the room, the breakfast was excellent. They have jakuzzi and sauna in the garden, where you can sit out, and relax. The receptionist was very kind person, she helped us where to go, what to do in the area. There is no dinner, or lunch. But they have also restaurant nearby, its very close, approx. 5-8 minutes by walking.

The hotel was fine, but they don’t have an elevator, the worst thing was the A\C in the room it was not doing it job we visited at July and we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs, we had to park our car outside the hotel parking but it was a safe calm street so it wasn’t a big deal

Very, very nice. It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

This review relates to the restaurant only. This impressive looking grand hotel is steeped in history and tradition. The air conditioned dining room is huge and has an adjoining terrace with views. We had a great Family stay in this hotel. Location is fantastic, room furniture is bit older but clean. Wellness part needs some improvement but still we enjoyed it. The best here is the stuff which is always very nice and helpful and also tasty meel they serve for breakfast and dinner.

We chose the hotel for its location, 2 minutes from the bath cave, and we did not regret the decision. The staff was very friendly, the room was large and clean, the small June and the dinner were very varied. We did not manage to enjoy the hotel spa, given the fact that we only stayed one day, but we will definitely return.

Nice place to stay. Clean rooms and kind staff. They have a great indoor wellness so you can try it even if the weather is cold outside. The thermal spa is a short walk from the hotel. We like the room but I missed my balcony. But let it be the biggest problem I recommend to stay here.

I just spent two nights at Fortuna Hotel. My room was small but clean and I had everything that I needed. The staff was so nice. They assisted me in every way..bringing me my laundry..bringing me the most delicious meals. I sad to have to leave!

I would rate it at all about 4.4 because we had to wait more than a hour. If I only rate the food only then it is 4.8. The cause of the 0.2 deduction is that the portions weren't that big(or maybe just mine, because others were ok with the size). The service was perfect. Prices start at 4400 HUF. Everyone decides if that's much or not. But how the foods looked was gorgeous, as you can see on the pictures

A nice hotel with a good location. Very close to the city centre. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Very little noise from the street/other guests. Breakfast was okay with a couple of different options. The sauna was nice too, although the floor was a bit dirty. Be aware that the sauna is not only for hotel guests, though.
