Very good value for money if you are looking for a thermal hotel. Decent, tasty food, clean rooms and thermal bad, and a very good sauna world. The sauna programme is included
One of the best choices in Hungary for this price range. The service in the restaurant lags a bit behind the usual expectations, but it is only a minor flaw that can be corrected with a little assertivity
There are many pools, with different temperatures. The good thing is that there is also an area for adults only, if you just want to relax. The food is very good, but it doesn't vary much from day to day
The hotel itself is beautiful, next to the sea, swimming pools around, amazing food
There are just two things I was not so happy - the programme looks like it is only for Italian customers, in the reception they do not have any information about it
It had lots of pools, we enjoyed watching the stars from the outside thermal pool. Sauna department had two Finnish saunas 95 and 70 degrees, aroma sauna (45) and steam bath

A perfect place to relax. It would be nice to expand the sauna in the bathroom.
For the engineers - I would have filled up the back pool over night so it could have cooled over night for next day use. Like this that pool was not available for us all day. This does not make much sense
All waitresses were missing all of the above except Tiffany who we also realised that she worked the hardest and had guest contact politeness. Food as always is plentiful and has vast offerings
The main building can pass as 4 stars however Hertelendy house requires updating specifically the showers but the bed linen is not 4 starts. The bed itself is great and comfy
Not general info is that there is an amount of water the establishment can use per year so as it was a low occupancy they are probably saving for the more busiest time
Even at low occupancies full buffet breakfasts and dinner was offered. The amount of pools that was available to us was unexceptable

Not a great variety but the quality was outstanding. Even the spaghetti carbonara which is almost impossible to serve aldente in a buffet was quite good. In fact all of the food was of excellent quality
I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels. I must say that this out of the way Castle Hotel is in my top 5 ever. The kindest most caring personnel. From the reception to the cleaning staff
We received and upgrad for free. She ended up having her own room. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had half-board and therefore as usual buffet breakfast and dinner
Elite charm and aristocratic laissez faire. Excellent staff and food. Healing water in the pools. Like in the 1900'.
The hotel has a nice if small wellness area. Tennis courts and mini-golf and footgolf
+view, pool,staff,environment,flexibility
-foods are not too tasty. drinks (e.g.water) is not included in the dinner which is a bit odd at a 4 star hotel.

Older hotel with great personnel with decent rooms but little bit too far from heviz lake... Food was also fine and also saunas and jacuzzi.
Very, warm, welcoming and eclectic accommodation. I suggest you don't believe the negative reviews.
Nice friendly clean hotel but a good walk out of town. You need a taxi as it is very hilly.
Quite good food but also quite expensive.

Tried some local dish Zala dödöle, which are potatoes dumplings seasoned with fried diced bacon and onion and sour cream. It's a strong energetic dish which was eaten by peasants, so nothing fancy
Prices are very fit, not too much! Great service, we were paid attention at all the time not needing to wait any for order plus things. So so nice and fantastic staff! Thank you so much
Great size, epic taste for all food! We were there with 4 people, 2 men and 2 women, the dishes were perfect for all of us
The food is very delicious, the staff is nice and the place is very cozy and lovely.
It tasted great and authentic. Tap beer and coffee all at a fair price
Great service and great food with great prices, what else can i say?

You can find this pension in a relaxed and comfortable enviroment which allows to chill and relax. Not far from the town center which is a good thing because you can visit everything while you're walking
The accomodation's owners are kind and helpful people who tries to help you when you have got problem. Shows everything what you need to know. Good for families and other people

Excellent service from the personnel. Breakfast had a variety of offerings and hotel's location is really good: 15 minutes walking distance from the thermal lake and close to restaurants and shops
Best place to stay in Heviz! The owners are great (treat you like family) and the staff is as well. Close to everything you might want to do in town but on a quiet street.
A very good choice if you are planning an escape to Heviz!! Also, the indoor pool of the hotel is really nice!
Drawbacks employees speaks only in Hungarian and German and very little on English. I was there only one night so I cant tell you much more. Personal advice, do not take room number 13
Room is ok, has a kitchen tea kettle, kitchen aid. Bathroom was very clean, toilette too. Standard breakfast, but dont worry you wont be dissapointed. There is also basin in facility
Madame Szilvia is very helpful if you need an advise about the city. I put 4 stars, instead of 5 stars, because of the carpet, in the room

This is the core thing making me not want to come back. Another big annoyance was the room's key needed to keep the electric lights/sockets powered, meaning all sockets would be powered off every time you leave the room
The sauna was a dissapointment, because it was one of the points to book here, but all of the zone is a no swimsuit one, not divided by men/women. At least you can keep your towel on
I am a born and raised eastern European myself, but having lived in the UK last 30+ years I do not get how I can be asked to remove my underwear for a treatment that didn't go anywhere near that area
Why?!? I am shy, due to my age and appearance and that was a big no no for me, with both present male and female attendents. Overall experience was great, but let down by things I've mentioned
Less annoying, but possibly a deciding factor of me not coming back here again was some of the treatments, such as mud wrapping
So no charging of devices once out. Was playing havoc with my laptop that needed constant power supply

Excellent medical treatment, sweeming pools with different level of temperature, thermal pool, saunas and hammam. Personal very friendly, going for extra miles in costumer service
The hotel is excellent and family-friendly, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. The restaurant is large, the buffet offers a wide variety of delicious food, and everything we tried was very tasty
A hotel I never imagined. The breakfast and dinner were great. The indoor hot spring exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go there again next time.
Every day the hotel offers wellness programs and water aerobics. We really liked trainer Erica, who speaks different languages and supervises classes if you have health problems
The wellness area is big, with children’s pools as well, and the outdoor pools are also great. The staff is kind and friendly throughout
The hotel has a medical centre, various types of massages, and mud therapy. It is an ideal place for improving your health for us. We are planning to visit this hotel 1-2 times per year for 8-10 days

Nice place for family journey. Clean and quiet. The breakfast and dinner are great, especially we had ice cream on Saturday evening, which made my daughter excited. The swimming pool is also clean and good.
What was great:
- Breakfest, Dinner, all you can eat and many types of meal. - Welness and swimpool were great. What could be better:
- In our room was AC not working. - Head of the shower was caught by mold
We flew across the ocean, arrived 2 hours earlier, but they gave us the keys right away, as if they were waiting for us. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to spend 10 days comfortably
The restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner is simply amazing in its variety. and everything is amazingly delicious. The service in the restaurant is also extremely professional
Reception was unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were nice.
Rooms are starting to get old, but they're comfortable.
Wellness was amazing. Food was fair for the price.
Perfection !! I loved it all, but I have to say the breakfast was the BEST we had in Hungary, beating all the other luxury hotels in the area including, Novotel

In summary: beautifully designed, comfortable, and with great spa facilities. Just make sure to plan your arrival before reception closes and be aware of the parking situation
Although the name suggests shopping, most of the stores in the hotel (and in the area in general) are already closed, so there isn’t really shopping available anymore
The spa area is excellent, spacious, with a Finnish sauna, steam room, two hot pools, and several relaxation areas. Overall, a very high standard
Right in the middle of Heviz, everything can be reached by a short walk. No parking direct at the Hotel, but the central public parking lot is less than 2 walking minutes away (and much cheaper than any Hotel parking)
The hotel is right next to the small square in the city center, which is very convenient. It's not far from Lake Hévíz and there are many dining options nearby
We stayed in a family room, which was very spacious and divided into two separate rooms. There were also two balconies, which was very convenient

underground parking across the street, however big cars are a bit difficult to get through because the steep uphill place is a bit narrow. You shoud stay here for a week
The hotel has mostly elderly people guests, which make sense as they come for the healing bath & thermal. We highly recommend staying here & enjoy the peace, relaxation
Decent rooms with balcony and beautiful view of the church, very kind staff, best hotel of the region!
Nice room, sunsine, The church is beautifully lit up in the evening. The morning is quiet, with birds singing. delicious breakfast and dinner, many dishes. plus point is very close to mineral water lake
One little thing: internet access could be a little bit improved as it's stronger only at the hall/reception area
Ideal location and various types of food at breakfast and dinner

Nice hotel center of Heviz Breakfast buffet with a great range of different food thanks to all of the people who work there, we had a very good holiday Very polite staff I'm determent to go back to that hotel next yer
We stayed for one night, the room was on the second floor. We really liked it. The only thing is that the shower is only overhead, and there were no shower caps, which is uncomfortable for guests with long hair.
One night stay, simple room, but comfortable and very close to the lake which is the reason for our visit. Restaurant available on premises which was great for dinner. The town is sweet, I wish we stayed longer
Hotel situated in driving distance of Lake Balaton. We have used it for one night sleep while traveling there. Booked via Internet 10 minutes before arrival (past 22:00), room was ready as we arrived
Equipment was visibly older, hovewer everything was very clean, this is also valid for shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual buffet
The food was delicious and environment. We waited a little long to get food and bill tho, other wise it was ok.

A comfortable stay
The location is great. It’s close to the lake and about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. It’s new, clean and well designed
Perfect! The rooms are fine, breakfast and dinner are fine, the staff is amazing! Kind, in the background, helpful, absolut professional. Small issue: no bar in the wellness with alcohol.
The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax
The service is good, the bed is comfortable and the food is very delicious
What made me write a review is that one of the ladies with glasses in the restaurant regularly publicly criticizes the guests who have just left, which I think is extremely humiliating
The wellness area is nice and tidy, but other than that, I can't say too much good

Dinner and breakfast are good
Sauna facilities are good
Close to hot spring lake
We were satisfied with the schedule of water pools, saunas and medical procedures. We would like to express an especial gratitude to Margit, Tamas, Andrea and to the mud pack staff
-Helpful, patient and nice staff - all of them, from the receptionists to the first-aid paramedics to the housekeeping ladies. -Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, table and chairs in the balcony are a plus
We enjoyed especially the goulash, the fish stews, the "bivaly" (oxen) slices, the beefsteak tartar, and the hot Hungarian desserts (the hot curd cheese pastry with berry sauce was wonderful, for instance!)
The best: -Very clean and quiet rooms. -Very fluffy bathrobes, and one spa towel and spa undertowel. -All thermal and treatment places are very close to each other and totally barrier-free
--Fresh, well-cooked, savoury, mostly Hungarian food, not too much variety but everything was very tasty and easy to digest (a plus for ailing guests)

Free WiFi, free entry to big welness world in Danubius hotel just 150m away (5 pools with different temperature, badminton court, several different saunas). Small welness is even in Park Hotel, not tested
Great hotel, and the receptionist was such a nice chap, great stay overall. The hotel is close to the lake and the restaurants downtown, it is a great value for money really
Very close to thermal waterpool good rooms and very friendly staff for a reasonable prize can only advise you it
The hotel also provides a ticket, so that you could park on street nearby the hotel
Nice quiet hotel just in center of Hévíz. Terasse, garden with chairs and table tennis
Delicious breakfasts from 7 to 10, dinners must be ordered in advance

I can only recommend this hotel, which is built for families with kids. This year it’s going to be our 3rd visit, absolutely worth the price (we come here from Bratislava, there is nothing comparable in Slovakia)
I would like to highly recommend the spa at Hotel Kolping. I had two treatments there: a Swedish full-body massage plus a head massage, both done by Agnes, a highly professional and skilled medical therapist
-responsive staff
- fun attractions for adults and children
- delicious and varied food
- clean and warm rooms
we are extremely satisfied and will gladly visit them again very soon
the best place to relax with the family
Additionally, I had a manicure with gel polish, and Betty did an incredible job. She's a perfectionist and made sure not to miss even the tiniest detail. I am beyond happy with the precise and flawless results
Amazing food, large, comfy and kids-prepared rooms, very good pools and wellness, also an adult-only wellness. And yes, in the Bobo Fun Park, both parents and kids can have fun and break a sweat
