We stayed in the apartment, and found the best of all worlds. The hotel has insanely good spa facilities, with the thermal section, the sauna world (be aware that it's without bathing suits for this), the outdoor pool and indoor pool too. Utter and ferocious relaxation. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed, fully equipped to make us feel truly at home.

These 12 days were truly unforgettable. It was our first experience with this type of hotel and vacation, and it exceeded all expectations. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, with everyone speaking and understanding English fluently. Agent Ilona was especially helpful, providing clear explanations about the procedures and the layout of this stunning place.
The medical and rejuvenation treatments, recommended after a consultation with the doctor, were conducted with great professionalism. I was particularly impressed by the thermal pool and sauna located within the hotel—an absolute highlight of our stay.
The restaurant offered a diverse menu each day, and every meal was delicious. The evening program, featuring live music, added a perfect touch to the already wonderful atmosphere.
Our suite was both comfortable and beautiful, complete with an orthopedic mattress and a choice of pillows to suit every preference. The room was cleaned daily, ensuring a consistently pleasant experience.
Overall, I loved everything about our stay and highly recommend it. I plan to return every year!

I don’t understand why a 4* hotel bar closes its bar at 22:00?!
We were refused service although there were 17 people still sitting with their bottles of wine. Why the 4 stars?!
Even the room service finishes at 22:00
Wellness had its only steam room out of order. Old tiles in pools, not clean enough ( outdoor pools ). Whirlpool functions per button not all working.
All in all a nice place, but very average.

Had a fantastic stay at Carbona Hotel in Hévíz! The rooms were comfortable, the service was top-notch, and the cocktails were delicious. The spa was incredibly relaxing, with a wide variety of beauty, medical, and relaxation services. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

We were staying at this place for one week. We realized that the shower is leaking and we notified the reception, the man offered us to move to the smaller room with no bed for a kid or promised to fix the shower. We decided not to change the room, the shower was never fixed, and the stuff was rude to us. Also the hotel charges for the parking 8 eur per night, for a dog 30 eur per night, the most expensive charge we have had. It is definitely not a 4-star hotel, rooms look old, service is bad, AC doesn't work well at the restaurant and at lobby, they charge the service fees for every drink you order.

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. During our stay, we requested assistance from the hotel staff to call a taxi and communicate in the local language, as we do not speak it ourselves. The staff refused to help, which was quite surprising and disappointing. Additionally, we observed them being rude to another guest who also required assistance.
It’s important for future guests to be aware that if you do not speak the local language, you might find it challenging to get help from the hotel staff, as they do not speak English and were not accommodating in our case. This lack of support and courtesy significantly affected our overall experience. We hope the management takes note and improves their service, especially for international guests who rely on their a

Nice wellness hotel: Great food (buffet, international and Hungarian food). Our room was clean (but book a renovated Deluxe room!), wifi works well. Parking is included.
There are several pool areas, all of them nice. Only improvement that comes to my mind: Give Csucsu, the adorable parrot a little more space.

We stayed 2 nights, the wellness and pool areas are amazing. The bar staff are very kind and helpful, they’re doing a great service. Various food, but very small buffet area. Room is clean and spacious, warm enough. We had issue only with the bed and mattress. Mattress is too old and used.

We took a deluxe room which was nice, but I'm not sure about the other rooms. Saunas are old and falling apart. However, the worst part was the food! I am familiar with the Hungarian cuisine, but this was a complete disaster. My wife and I couldn't find a single dish that we would recommend. She even found dark long hair two times in different dishes, and the waiter only said "no good" to our complaints. We had a half board but we ended up spending a bunch of money on lunch at different restaurants, all of which were much more enjoyable! The staff could be nicer, almost nobody greeted us, and the receptionist didn't even ask how was our staying on the checkout. I believe the hotel manager was also present at checkout, and even she didn't say goodbye.
