Reviews
Cleanliness and Room Condition:
The quality of cleaning was extremely poor. The rooms were dusty, and I even found cobwebs in the corners. The rooms are outdated, with visible stains on the ceiling from leaks. The plumbing was almost entirely non-functional—especially the shower, which barely worked.
Facilities and Amenities:
On the day of check-out (Monday), the hotel cut off hot water and heating, leaving guests without basic comfort. Additionally, half of the spa area was closed, significantly limiting the advertised experience.
Moreover, the spa is essentially a public bathhouse with unlimited access for outside visitors. This means hotel guests have to compete for space in the pools, making the area overcrowded and uncomfortable. It seems the hotel prioritizes maximizing profit over providing a relaxing environment for its paying guests.
We were also offered the option to extend our stay in the spa area after check-out. However, we were asked to pay an additional 20,000 HUF per person just to receive a robe and towel, which felt unreasonable considering the already high cost of accommodation.
Noise and Comfort:
The rooms had terrible soundproofing, making it almost impossible to sleep. You can clearly hear noises from other rooms, including conversations, TVs, and even doors opening and closing in the hallways. This lack of privacy and constant disturbance greatly impacted the overall comfort of the stay.
Dining Experience:
The breakfast and dinner options were extremely limited and did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel—more like 2 stars. Drinks were not included and had to be paid for separately.
Room Service Issues:
I attempted to order room service, which the hotel claims to provide. However, after calling reception, I was told that I would need to pick up my order myself from the front desk—not exactly what one expects from a proper room service experience.
Overall Impression:
The overall experience was negative. The poor condition of the rooms, lack of proper facilities, overcrowded spa area, and lack of basic comfort make this hotel far from a relaxing retreat. The price does not match the level of service or amenities offered.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine 4-star spa experience.
Breakfast and dinner were free but lunch coated money. They only served drinks at breakfast . It was calm with a pianist playing while you eat.
Our room was a bit small for accommodating 3 beds. I find that the quality of the shampoo/shower gel could be improved a bit, as it doesn't wash off sunscreen very well.
Overall, a very good experience.
But great pools otherwise and nice lunch
