There is no doubt that the hotel is outdated, but it is super clean and the food is very nice and tasty. Service at the diner is half of the RB hotel price. Even if the hotel was stuck in the 80s, you would have a good time. The only downside is that with Freya Hotel, you do not get access to Thermal World.

It's a 3 star hotel. Good thing about it you can walk to the thermal bath from the hotel through a covered tunnel. Food is tasty but sometimes boring. Rooms are small, outdated but clean. Beds are comfortable.

We had some problems with the pop-in masseur who did his job horribly. The problem was handled very well by the receptionist, but it is still up to the hotel to work with outsiders who are worth the otherwise high prices. Nice and clean hotel. Balcony was a big plus, at least for me. Friendly personnel. Decent price. Breakfast was included; open buffet, not fancy but tasty and consistent. A permanent restaurant would be a great feature, especially for travelers like myself , as I couldn't find any places to eat in immediate vicinity.

The room was renovated and clean. Check-in was easy and fast. The staff was nice. There was free parking and an elevator. The only thing that is not of adequate quality is the food. The room included a daily bath ticket. The spa is a 5-minute walk from here.

This is not a typical hotel, more like a spa, with lots of small children around. However, it all gets very quiet before 22.00. We got half-board and it was excellent, a lot of various dishes. We got more than what we expected.Cheap price,good thermal bath and kind staffs. Contingent of the hotel are mostly older people and do not know english.That is why you can get bored after few days if you come alone. In winter most activities outside of hotel are closed due to bad weathers.But for summer it is sure that you can get more pleasure.

Nagyon barátságos, igazi élhető kis hotel, eldugott helyen, ugyanakkor közel a fürdőhöz, és az ökotóhoz. Nem volt tömeg soha a reggelinél vagy wellnessben, a konyha egyszerűen fantasztikus, és bőségesek az adagok, a személyzet felülmúlta a várakozásokat, azt kaptuk, amit vártunk, sőt többet.

A személyzet nagyon aranyos és segítőkész, a vacsora mennyei, szobák tiszták, csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek! Ár érték arányban verhetetlen. Biztos vissza jövünk még!

Although we asked in advance for a quiet room, we got a room facing a main road and therefore noisy at all hours of the day and night. After we went to reception they changed our room. Varied meals, everyone can find what they like. The pool area is wonderful. Excellent shower.

Very nice hotel and clean rooms but kitchen is poor. During Holidays in Hungary we are used to much better food than here. Even so, we had a great vacation in this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

Not very friendly nor professional staff at the reception. They wanted to charge us the amount that we have already paid for our stay and didn' t even bother to appologize afterwards. That really kind of spoiled the experience. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

One of the best location around Zalakaros. I stayed here several times for business and private. Hozel staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is connected with the Zalakaros Spa where you can enjoy thermal pools onside and outside with children as well also during winter. Food is delicious with a wide broad of selection.

Great option with kids. Stuff was super super nice. Water park is really nice. Only down side is that almost no vegetarian options. Highly recommend.

Excellent destination for a relaxing holiday. Peaceful environment, spacious rooms, and excellent, healthy food prepared with care - the dinner was the best part of our stay! The spa area is almost empty (stayed in May) and there are plenty of chairs/loungers.

Not sure how they got a 4 star rating; rather 3 star in my opinion. It's all about the thermal water, which they've done nicely. Dinner is buffet style, with very limited choice. We spent 6 days in Hotel Aphrodite with my family. The Staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were great, and all the services (pool, wellness, massage) was quite good. We had only one small concern, there were no fruits for breakfasts. But we had a great time there.

I have given three stars as this hotel should be a fairly ok 3-star hotel, not a 4-star one. Upside: (i) organic food supply from a farm in the neighborhood, (ii) spacious rooms. Downside: (i) seasoned furniture and design, including yellowish wallpaper and a battered wellness department, (ii) sometimes surprisingly unfriendly staff, (iii) no flexibility in letting caffeine hungry guests to use...
