Great location on the beach by the marina between the Gordon Pool and the Hilton. Room was smallish, a little dated, but clean and comfortable with partial view of the sea and a tiny balcony, which needed to be cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Nice rooftop pool. I've stayed here perhaps a dozen times. It is my favorite hotel on the beach in Tel Aviv. Impeccably maintained, excellent atmosphere to meet guests, amazing breakfast buffet, and lots of view of the beach. If you like sushi, they have perhaps the best sushi restaurant in Tel Aviv.

Hotel Metropolitan is really run by professionals. I don't know how they manage to coordinate so many tour groups constantly coming through, but they really do... all public and private spaces are spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and competent, and even the breakfast is run like clockwork.
