Hotel La Bussola

9/4-8/2024- The location was excellent. The main Amalfi port was a 5-8 min walk. The hotel Is located on a low traffic spot because of being near the end of the street, which was nice because it gets very crowded with cruise ship passengers that dock. The hotel has parking at €30 per 24hrs which is very convenient. The hotel is traditional Italian decor, not trendy and modern, which was very nice (pics in Google are old, they don’t match as shown in Booking.com, the rooms are updated to a degree). The rooms are very clean spacious, private bathroom and most importantly AC during the summer season. We got ocean view, which was very nice view to sit out with wine at night. The breakfast was decent, they served you the food for hygienic reasons, though more food options would make more desirable. The dining room has ocean views. Staff were very warm and kind. We are very happy with La Bussola and it will be a great memory to our first time visiting Italy.

This hotel can be all in one 1️⃣ excellent location great services and super clean delicious breakfast served on your table in a very nice restaurant with a great view on the Amalfi marina. Plus they have very nice rooftop bar with Amazing views on the coast. It’s the best place to stay in if you’re interested in boat rides

Stayed at Hotel la Bussola in Amalfi for a week in August with my entire family. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was simply incredible, in all aspects. The front desk staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and nice. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and freshened up daily. Breakfast was delicious with many options and the service staff were also very friendly and attentive. Basically, every single person who works here was great. I do have to call out special attention to the roof top bar. We visited nightly and it was the highlight of each day. Alessandro, Andre and all of those that also helped us were simply fantastic (sorry, I forget some of the names). We enjoyed every minute we spent with them. Drinks were meticulously prepared, unique and refreshing. The appetizers were such a nice surprise each evening. The “Best Shot Ever” was the Best Shot Ever! I believe it was Claudio who made the best Espresso Martini’s we’ve ever had in the downstairs bar. We will certainly visit again and look forward to our next stay. Thank you everyone!

Wonderful rooms, superb staff and service.
Truly made our time in Almalfi an enjoyable experience. The service was second to none, staff so helpful and accommodating with assistance with tips and transport.

Location was close to everything but also far enough away to be quiet, with waterfront location making for stunning views of the coastline.

There is a lovely restaurant on site serving quality food at reasonable prices, a roof top bar overlooking Mediterranean, an in room laundry service and 24hr reception.

My daughter and I stayed at this lovely hotel. The room was so beautiful, very clean and had an amazing view. It was cleaned everyday. The cleaning lady was always so thorough and sweet to talk to. It had a private beach and the perfect location to everything. The breakfast had a great spread with many options.
During our stay, we had an emergency back home and had to leave a couple of days early. The wonderful people at the front desk were so helpful and amazing at helping us find a ride to the airport early on a Sunday. The sweet gentleman who works nights at the hotel was such a sweetheart as well. So helpful. It meant so much to us that they were all so accommodating. If you visit Amalfi, you must stay at this hotel. You’ll feel like you’re at home!

Great location and friendly staff. Some of the rooms has sea view. Be careful while booking which room are you booking. A bit overpriced place but good service. Breakfast is also nice. They have access to sea platform with extra charges but the life guard/ staff member at the beach is very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel just steps away from the main area, so that’s helpful if you are looking for something quieter. Breakfast buffet passable, friendly staff.

The room is solid (2 twin beds with balcony), nothing to sing praises about but gets the job done. TV is hilariously small, but you don’t vacation to Italy to watch TV in the room, so who cares.

We had an issue with our air conditioning (it gets pushed to its limit in summer like most places on the peninsula) but the staff was quickly able to mitigate, so credit to them. Roof bar is nice, just wish it had actual dinner too.

I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel! I highly recommend this hotel specially if you can get Room number 367 with two balconies. Views are beautiful!! Every single thing of this hotel is up to the standard! Breakfast has lots of varieties! Location is perfect! Hotel staff are very friendly and cooperative!

Staying at La Bussola was an absolute dream! We had a partial sea view room with a balcony. The view from our room was stunning and we spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony taking in the views. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. The staff here were amazing and so accommodating to anything we needed before and during our stay. We organized a transfer with the hotel from the airport to the hotel and back and it was extremely worth it for a stress-free way to get to and from. The hotel has a restaurant that we had breakfast and dinner at and also a fantastic rooftop bar with fun cocktails and appetizers. This hotel was very relaxing and in a great location.. just a few minute walk to the city center so a little outside the busy area and ferry/bus drop off and pick up. This made it much quieter but not too far if we wanted to find a nice restaurant in the city center. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great staff. They are very nice and helpful. The location is great and there is a parking on site for a fee. There is a beautiful patio on the 4th floor with the view of Amalfi coast 😊
