Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

My husband and I were fortunate enough to celebrate our wedding at Anantara Convento di Amalfi in September. It couldn't have been more perfect. We had our ceremony at the historic cloisters, our aperitif on the Terrance Rooftop overlooking the Amalfi Coast before heading down to La Laconda terrace for our reception dinner and dancing. Not only was it the perfect venue for our destination Italian wedding, but the stay there was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, the food was some of the best we had during our vacation in Italy. We loved the quiet moments to ourselves at breakfast the morning of wedding, or relaxing time by the pool the day after. We will be celebrating anniversaries there in the future. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks Anantara for helping to create such beautiful lifetime memories for us.

The entire staff were beyond exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Francesca and Antonella for making our special day unforgettable. Even during the cool winter, under a warm and lucky sun, we enjoyed the quiet elegance of the hotel, surrounded by blooming flowers and tranquil beauty. The privacy and serenity during this season added a unique charm to our stay.

We also had the chance to capture stunning photographs within the hotel's picturesque spaces, which added to the magic of our wedding day. Walking along the same peaceful paths once tread by monks in the 13th century made the experience feel timeless and truly special.

My wife and I recently visited Italy as newlyweds, exploring various cities, and our stay at the Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel on the Amalfi Coast was an absolute highlight. From the moment we arrived, Daniela greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the hotel, and made sure we felt at home. Her attention to detail and genuine care made our experience truly special.

We stayed in a premium room with a balcony overlooking the ocean and words can’t describe how breathtaking the view was! The room was spotless, the hotel amenities were top-notch, and the food was simply fantastic. Every meal felt like a celebration of Italian flavors.

If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. We can’t wait to return one day!

It’s a great hotel, location is very good, the service is excellent. There is a van transportation to the city circle where you can get a bus anywhere on the Amalfi coast.
The staff are very attentive, happy to help and very efficient.
The restaurant and bar are great. Delicious food for breakfast and very special delicious plates for dinner.
We loved staying there and will be coming back.

The Anantara is a wonderful hotel if you're planning to stay in the town of Amalfi. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious and it's perfectly located to the town square. There is a hotel shuttle that will take you to the square or you can walk. No need to worry about climbing steps, they have elevators for each level. There are great views throughout the resort and overall it's breathtaking. I had my wedding there and it could not have been more perfect.

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the building’s history adds an exciting extra touch. We were eagerly anticipating the trip, and it did not disappoint. The building is stunning, and they’ve managed to preserve the unique atmosphere that sets it apart from other luxury hotels—truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The service exceeded our expectations; thank you for making it such a memorable stay. We're rooting for the restaurant to soon receive the well-deserved recognition from the Michelin Guide inspectors. Special thanks to Francesco at the reception and Kristian at the restaurant.

Incredible hotel with a rich history and gorgeous views. The 2 restaurants were absolute highlights, as the food and service were exceptional!

We also did a convert tour with Friar Marcus and pizza making with Gabriele, both were really interesting and fun!

There are some really lovely people working here, which made the experience that much more memorable. Highly recommend ⭐️

Incredible location and views. 5 star service all around. Definitely not a value place (£31 spritzes…), but absolutely worth the splurge.

We brought our toddler and saw very few other children during the week we stayed, but never felt out of place for kids.

Beautiful historic property, very gracious employees, and multiple peaceful perches for enjoying the spectacular view. The restaurant turns out delicious food. Our server Omar was quite personable and attentive. The bar makes delicious cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful, we looked forward to it every morning. Don't miss the house made marmalades, local honey and fresh yogurt. Anantara is an exceptional escape from the crowds yet easily accessed by elevator in lower Amalfi.

Not only did this hotel have incredible views, the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the chefs are very accommodating to dietary requirements.
What makes this hotel though is the incredible staff. They helped us enormously with recommendations and restaurant reservations. They were able to get us reservations at places where we struggled and were able to get us the best tables. Big shout out to Francesco, Francesca, Martina, Alessio, Kristian and Eugenio. You guys were incredible and made our stay!! We loved this place and cannot recommend it enough!

The hotel’s beach club was also great. It’s a private section on a beach and again the service was brilliant. The rooms have great products and the beds were big and very comfortable. The room had great views. It was all beautiful.
