Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the building’s history adds an exciting extra touch. We were eagerly anticipating the trip, and it did not disappoint. The building is stunning, and they’ve managed to preserve the unique atmosphere that sets it apart from other luxury hotels—truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The service exceeded our expectations; thank you for making it such a memorable stay. We're rooting for the restaurant to soon receive the well-deserved recognition from the Michelin Guide inspectors. Special thanks to Francesco at the reception and Kristian at the restaurant.

Incredible hotel with a rich history and gorgeous views. The 2 restaurants were absolute highlights, as the food and service were exceptional!

We also did a convert tour with Friar Marcus and pizza making with Gabriele, both were really interesting and fun!

There are some really lovely people working here, which made the experience that much more memorable. Highly recommend ⭐️

Incredible location and views. 5 star service all around. Definitely not a value place (£31 spritzes…), but absolutely worth the splurge.

We brought our toddler and saw very few other children during the week we stayed, but never felt out of place for kids.

Beautiful historic property, very gracious employees, and multiple peaceful perches for enjoying the spectacular view. The restaurant turns out delicious food. Our server Omar was quite personable and attentive. The bar makes delicious cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful, we looked forward to it every morning. Don't miss the house made marmalades, local honey and fresh yogurt. Anantara is an exceptional escape from the crowds yet easily accessed by elevator in lower Amalfi.

Not only did this hotel have incredible views, the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the chefs are very accommodating to dietary requirements.
What makes this hotel though is the incredible staff. They helped us enormously with recommendations and restaurant reservations. They were able to get us reservations at places where we struggled and were able to get us the best tables. Big shout out to Francesco, Francesca, Martina, Alessio, Kristian and Eugenio. You guys were incredible and made our stay!! We loved this place and cannot recommend it enough!

The hotel’s beach club was also great. It’s a private section on a beach and again the service was brilliant. The rooms have great products and the beds were big and very comfortable. The room had great views. It was all beautiful.

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights for our honeymoon to kick of our time on the Amalfi coast. Truly a luxury hotel that takes care of everything you need. The staff was excellent, rooms had amazing views and the restaurant/drinks were a perfect addition. Would stay here again!

Good location which is 10 mins walk from Amalfi town.
Great facilities and restaurants. The pizzeria is a must try. Live music throughout the dinner experience.
Hotel staff is also very welcoming since check-in. I’m extremely impressed by the exceptional service provided by Sall at the bar.

Beautiful resort with very friendly staff. Great amenities and views that you’ll never forget. The restaurant in the hotel is incredible- the food is outstanding and the ambiance romantic. Ask for Eugenio, Omar, or Kristian- they are very nice and part of the wonderful restaurant staff.

This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The service, atmosphere, food, EVERYTHING was top notch. I don’t know how any of it could be done any better. Every time the staff did something, it seemed like they would always say “also we have a little surprise for you”, or “let me make it better for you as well”. They always went out of their way to go above and beyond. Inside the restaurant, we were given multiple extra little dishes to try. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. My wife also said it was the best experience she’s ever had at a hotel. You won’t regret staying here!

P.S. There were multiple staff members whose names I can’t remember, and I feel terrible. I do remember Francesca who helped us check out today. She was amazing, along with the other lady who gave us directions to Pompeii. Thank you both so much! Also, there were multiple concierges who helped us during our stay and they both were incredible in every way. Alessandra was one of them, and I can’t remember the other gentleman’s name but he was professional, kind, and always welcoming to us. Thanks again everyone!
