Hotel Palace Centro

The location was good, but literally everything else about the hotel was terrible. The shower had hardly any water pressure and when you turned on the sink, the water in the shower turned to a dribble. The “hot” water was lukewarm at best—to get decent water pressure, you had to turn on the cold water which only resulted in a cold shower. The shower doubled as a bidet!! There was no A/C in our room despite advertising that the hotel had air conditioning. Awful! The rooms were old and shabby with horribly stained carpet. The photos online were wildly different than the reality of the hotel. We took customers with us for a trade show and were horrified to have them stay here. So embarrassing…and for over $300 per night. Save yourself and move on to the next search listing!!!!

AC did not work. Had to use a fan.
Old , dirty carpets that are almost ripping out.
Yellow, cheap bulbs.
Dirty shower curtains.
Dirty tiles, with mold.
Door keys are from the medieval times.

This is no better than a roadside motel.

I am extremely disappointed in the hotel, and in Expedia for even listing this. The owners should be ashamed.

We stayed in a 3 star hotel in Florence for the same number of days and total expense, and that was leaps beyond what this place is.

Stay away.

Broken furniture, only one chair in a suite room. Furniture was old, art in the room was broken. Bed was not double but two individual ones which is lame for a suite. Bathroom had a smell. Overall pretty disappointed, we like old hotels because they have charm, but this one was not it… Also breakfast buffet had one type of industrial cheese and little to no salty options for vegetarians.
