Simple but nice place to stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms have what you need. Design is very clean and simple.
Service from the staff is great and they are very welcoming.
The place have some co-working area which looked nice. Almost wanted to work from here…
Also have a free gym.

Can I Just Move In Already? The Social Hub is a Dream!

Oh. My. God. I flipping love this place. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I booked, but now I genuinely wish I could move in. The Social Hub is everything I never knew I needed in a stay—sustainability, community, and comfort, all in one incredibly well-thought-out space.

Let’s start with the bed—oh my days, the most comfortable thing ever, with so many pillows to curl up in. The room temperature was spot on, and when I turned the lights off, it was pitch black, which made for the best sleep ever. I also loved all the thoughtful details, like the water tracker in the shower, the sustainable toilet paper, and even the condoms in the room (nice touch!).

But what truly sets The Social Hub apart is the community focus. As a solo traveler, I really appreciate places where you can meet people outside of the usual drinking culture. There were so many cool events and opportunities to connect with others in a meaningful way. I just wish I had known about them in advance so I could have planned to attend!

The staff were beyond lovely—friendly, welcoming, and just radiating good vibes. The location was perfect, super close to the train station, and I felt safe walking back at night.

Only tiny bit of feedback? I really wanted to swim, and I wish I’d been told in advance that the pool wasn’t open. Also, can we please get more Social Hubs in other cities? Because I would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is just so my vibe—a perfect mix of sustainability, comfort, and social connection. If you’re even thinking about booking, just do it. You won’t regret it.

Overall pleasant stay, good rooms and excellent amenities with a lively mix of students, workers and travellers that gave it a proper community hub feel. Right next to the station which is both a plus and a minus, the area has an unflattering reputation and although I never felt unsafe during the day I did take advice not to explore after dark as a solo female traveller.

There were some odd quirks in the room - the shower was pretty lukewarm at highest heat, had a small wardrobe but no drawers which was really annoying, and despite including a kettle and coffee machine only included cups and not mugs.

Food was adequate but nothing special, although I only had a couple of meals and not breakfast. The available events - I enjoyed a cooking class with small (taster size) meal included - are a real bonus of staying here but not always listed properly on the eventbrite.

Absolutely amazing hotel - a clean room, with good choice of coffee capsules, comfortable bed and pillows, good pressure of the hot water. Location is great - 5 minutes from the Marconi Airport Express Station and 7-8 minutes from the city centre. The staff was perfect, smiling and polite! Definitely I will stay again!

Beautifully designed hotel in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station. Despite its proximity to the main railway station, the hotel is in a quiet location. With its design, the hotel primarily appeals to young people and people who are young at heart. The staff are very, very friendly and very, very nice. The food and snacks in the hotel's own restaurant are very tasty and you don't have to leave the hotel for a delicious, freshly prepared coffee. In addition to a pool, the hotel offers countless other facilities for sport, games and leisure. The conditions for remote working are perfect. The only criticism: The hotel room is/was very cold/cool designed (Like a youth hostel). But that's also a matter of taste. I would book the hotel again and can recommend it without reservation.

Pretty pricey for a one night stay (close to $150). So 4 stars.
Location is great since it is 5 minutes away from the train station; it was a little confusing navigating so you have to take the underground tunnel, up the stairs, and walk to the right exit.

I really like the modern and sustainable ideas of the hotel. Reception colleagues were very friendly and welcoming. On the first day of our arrival, I requested a change of our room as there was a Bunker bed in the room and was not safe for my child. They were very considerate and gave me another room with twin beds. One of Receptionists (Alessandro) suggested a couple of must visit places, restaurants, and foods to try, which were amazing. The location was central and easily accessible with public transportation from anywhere in the city. It has a decent swimming pool, gym, bar, restaurants and playing facilities which makes it a good choice for families and youth. They provide the guests with free clean towels every time they want to use the swimming pool. I would recommend this place in Bologna.

Would stay again, located close to the central train station and a €20 taxi from the airport if you don't want to get the train.

Rooms are nice with high ceilings and quiet, bathrooms are modern, bed is comfortable, and airconditioning works well. General amenities like the pool and social areas are also welcoming. Hotel has several sustainability initiatives.

Everything that you need can be found in this hotel. Its modern, the rooms are clean and the service is very friendly. The air condition works very good, it was nice to come back to the room after a whole day spent outside in hot weather.
We didn’t book the breakfast, but you can get suuuper good and cheap coffee and something sweet at the bar. There are many places where you can just sit and relax. It’s not that far from the city centre, you can walk (20-30min) or rent a bike.
We would definitely choose the Social Hub again!
