Hotel Soleado

Really excellent hotel for the price. It’s just a short walk from the city center, and all of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, especially Roberta who really went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. Every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations, making it a truly memorable visit.

Location:
The hotel is situated uphill at around 10 minutes walk to Taormina town centre, hence with easy access to the main attractions.

Service:
The service at the hotel is impeccable. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, promptly addressing any requests or inquiries. All were super helpful in providing recommendations and arranging activities. One of the best value for the price is the trip to the nearby beach called Playa Soleluna for only €15, which included transport from/to the hotel, sunbeds, and umbrella.

Accommodation:
My room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and immaculate, and it came with a lovely balcony overlooking the stunning pool area, with plenty of lounge chairs to sunbathe. The breakfast provided had plenty of choice to set you up for the day ahead, which also included fresh pastries and cakes.

To sum up, I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a lovely stay in Taormina.

The hotel was very good and clean plus 5 minutes from centre. The only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but they do have a very well stocked up mini bar. And the other no waiter service by the pool. Breakfast was fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay here and wish we stayed longer. Our room with a balcony was very clean, faced the sea and much larger than expected. Location was great , a short stroll the from centre of Taormina! Most of all, staff here were incredibly kind and very helpful! Highly recommend Hotel Soleado.

Spacious room
Location: it is quiet and a bit away from the buzzing streets. But also it takes just a couple of minutes to walk to those fun and buzzing streets.

Had an amazing 5 night holiday here and loved every second. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, polite and attentive, and nothing was too much. The breakfast was fresh, homemade and extremely delicious with a mix of traditional Italian dishes and homemade pastries, with a beautiful vista out of the breakfast window. The pool was perfect with plenty of space, we often had it to ourselves in the second week of July and was a lovely sun spot! The room was basic but more than comfortable and spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom. It was so clean that I walked face first into the shower door thinking it was open when we arrived (true story)! The location was less than a 5 minute from the main street, and en route was a small supermarket which was very very convenient and had everything you could need. The hotel was also away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town which was lovely. Honestly could not recommend enough, lovely staff, clean and well looked after room, beautiful pool and ideal location. We hope you have as lovely a stay as we did :)

We stayed two nights and had comfortable rooms and balconies, with a leafy view past the pool to the sea. The hotel is well situated, with an easy 10 minute walk into the centre (and a few minutes, but 250 steps up, from the Lumbi car park), but is in a quiet cul-de-sac well away from the nightlife (still vibrant in mid September). Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice in this large hotel (the best breakfast we had in our five locations in Sicily this time), including salad and high-protein options. I appreciated the zero tolerance attitude at reception when I reported noisy neighbours - "they won't be staying tonight" was the very firm message!

We stayed at Hotel Soleado for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, really friendly and accommodating. They even offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us when we had to get up early for an excursion. The breakfast was delicious and included many home made cakes and biscuits (also catered for those looking for savory options). The rooms were very clean and well air conditioned. Finally, the location is perfect - a 5 minute walk to the town center with lots of restaurants and cafés. Would definitely go back!

For the price in this location I have to give this 2 star hotel 5 stars.
Big and comfortable rooms , friendly and attentive staff.

We spent 1 week here in September 2022 as a couple - we loved our stay! The hotel and room were spotlessly clean. The room was a good size, and we enjoyed the pool, although be mindful it is very shallow! Beds were comfortable, although we had to request more pillows which were provided. Air con works well in the rooms. Showers were fantastic. Our room did not have a safe, which would have been good. There was a mini-fridge which was stocked with drinks was great.

The staff were the star of this hotel - they made us feel incredibly welcome, saying hello every time they saw us, and were very helpful in explaining Taormina using a map and informing us of the different attractions around.

We left the hotel on check-out day at 5.45am for our flight - we spoke to the hotel staff the day before and they offered to make us a pack up breakfast and coffee in a thermos so we could have breakfast in the room - we felt this was really great customer service and they went out of their way to offer this!

Location: A short walk, 10 minutes or less to the start of the main street in Taormina, and also the cable car down to the beach. About 15 minutes walk to the bus terminal. 5 minutes to the nearest shop.

Only areas for improvement - newer towels would be great - ours were worn and a bit scratchy to use. And also the Wifi - you have to re-connect each day, rather than being able to log in once and use for your whole stay. We would also have liked a safety box.

We enjoyed breakfast - simple of italian foods - breads, pastries, cakes, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereal - so you can mix it up each day. Included juice and coffee.
