Universal Hotel

The staff are unbelievable. Fantastic, atención to detail, extremely friendly. Their a like a family. Pro-active. I have never seen a friendlier hotel than this one.

I stayed at Hotel Universal during the Ironman weekend and I had a great stay. The room was clean, the location could not have been better with a great view over transition and the sea, the service was great and the breakfast buffet was also great. The only fault I would say is that it looks a bit dated and that it is a bit noisy in the sense that you can hear when other guests talk or use the toilet or do anything in their rooms. Still I had a 5/5 stay! Thank you and hope to be back again soon!

Lovely hotel in Cervia. We were there for 6 nights for the annual Ironman competition in Cervia. The hotel entrance is stunning with marble and glass. It is across the street from the beach with easy access to the multiple beach resorts. The staff is most welcoming and bi-lingual. The rooms are on the small side but this is the normal standard for Italy. Location is a bit of work as the train station is about 1.3 miles from the hotel and you either need to take a taxi or walk (30mins). The food is outstanding. The breakfast buffet is great with coffees, juices, Prosecco, dozens of types of pastries/breads, lots of fruits, yogurts and several hot items. If you get the half board which includes dinner this is an amazing deal (normally 38€ per person). The dinner includes a hot/cold appetizer salad bar, and 1st and 2nd entree and a dessert bar. Beware as the food is very good and we overate every night! The wait staff was terrific and knew every night to bring me a glass of red wine with my dinner. If we return to Cervia this is a must stay!

beautiful place and super location! the staff throughout the hotel were very kind without exception! the food was excellent considering the size of the hotel itself, in reality the food was above expectations!! I absolutely recommend it!

Refined hotel, super professional room and reception service, attentive to every need and very friendly, as on our son's birthday, exquisite food and clean room!!! What can I say, the family stay was spent in the best possible way. We will definitely be back, see you soon! A.E.

Special trip with my ex-partner and our daughter to celebrate her fourth birthday, taking advantage of the splendid location by the sea, the proximity to Mirabilandia (less than 15 minutes by car), other beautiful places on the Romagna Riviera such as Cesenatico and Milano Marittima , and also intrigued by the Kite Festival which was celebrated 200 meters from the hotel. I had read super positive reviews, and our impression - after a 6-day holiday in this hotel - not only confirms the reviews read, but far exceeded our expectations!! The kindness of all the staff is priceless. In recent days our little girl happened to be ill, and both the reception staff and the cleaning ladies did everything they could to make us feel at ease, even changing our rooms. Not to mention the smiles and kindness of Mara and Ciprian, both head nurses, and of all the restaurant staff, truly impeccable!! We also thank the Chef (whom I was able to greet in person) and the Pastry Chef. We take several extra kilos back to Milan, but we are super satisfied!!! We ate really well all these six days. Exquisite dishes, well presented, prepared with the freshest ingredients and a choice of many options. Truly high quality pastry desserts for both dinner and breakfast and prepared every day in the hotel's own pastry shop. I also underline great attention to VEGETARIANS and VEGANS. As for the rooms, tastefully furnished and always super clean and fragrant. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, which is discovered during the summer, and a children's area, a fixed stop after every dinner for our little one. This hotel is suitable for families, couples, groups of friends and even large holidays, also because the organization on all fronts is truly unassailable. We wholeheartedly recommend it, hoping to return as soon as possible!!

HOTEL ACCOGLIENTE E PULITO. IL PERSONALE E' GENTILISSIMO. DA DIVERSI ANNI SCEGLIAMO L'HOTEL UNIVERSAL PER LE NOSTRE FERIE E SIAMO FELICISSIMI. IL CIBO E' OTTIMO E LA POSIZIONE DELLA STRUTTURA E' STRATEGICA, INOLTRE CERVIA E' UNA CITTADINA MOLTO BELLA.

Well-sized rooms with a balcony facing the beach, well-cleaned, and good comfortable beds. What I would say stands out is the great meals, lunch, and dinner were fantastic during our conference. The view from the restaurant was excellent! Also a nice bar, but maybe too few varieties of beers. The terrasse at the entrance was great for both prosecco and coffee. Just across the street are some more great restaurants, worth mentioning is Saretina 152 which is open a little longer.
