The 4F boutique hotel has 14 rooms tat are all different on the 4th floor of an elegant residential/professional building . We had one of the smaller rooms overlooking the river, which was very pleasant and peaceful. There is a really excellent breakfast of cold cuts that can be supplemented by cooked son request, in a lounge area open to residents throughout the day. Room service is available and laundry too (we did not use either. There is a small lift. There is a roof terrace with pleasant views over Florence. A great place to spend a quiet time as the sun sets The 4F is well placed. A 15 minute to the historic center, bus routes nearby, excellent restaurants nearby on both sides of the river, and near the concert hall.

We only stayed one night but got upgraded to a fabulous river view room. It was nothing short of stunning!! It was like staying in a private palazzo! The staff were also so friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay longer but the hotel was fully booked.
Hotel is really centrally located, within walking distance of all the sights. Breakfast was just sublime, with both a buffet and a menu for ordering hot food.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and will be back very soon!

This hotel was amazing. We only had the pleasure of staying one night, but I would absolutely stay again. We booked out room last minute and the only one left was the small standard room. It was perfectly fine for me and the wife. The distance to downtown was an easy walk along the river. Breakfast was excellent as well - capacino, eggs, yogurt, etc. all perfect. Absolutely 5 stars on everything.
We had a car with us as well. I initially hesitated driving into the ZTL zone where the hotel is located. Called the hotel and they said not to. We used the hotel to arrange a garage service. That worked out well, albeit they were about 20 minutes late bringing our car back after we called with an hour notice. Word of advice, tell them 30 minutes earlier than you need your car and make sure the hotel calls the garage to bring your car at that time. Definitely not the hotel's fault given it is an entirely separate service. The hotel ask said to feel safe leaving things in the car you don't need with you in the room, so we left two bikes we had with us in the car - no issues.

Our room was beyond exceptional. Well decorated, spacious, great views, and above all scrupulously clean. That said, the whole hotel was scrupulously clean. The rooftop offers many seating areas and views over Florence. The breakfast can only be described as sumptuous. Location is great, only a 20-minute very easy walk to the many must see sights; railway station; bus station and, of course meeting points if you have booked tours. Restaurants virtually on your doorstep. The managers and staff of 4F Boutique Hotel are very welcoming. You immediately feel like part of their family. We would not hesitate to book again and strongly urge those, who like to stay near the main activities but yet be far enough away so as to return to a quiet relaxing and elegant environment, to do likewise.

Our two nights in Florence was elevated by our stay of 4F Boutique Hotel Florence. We were within walking distance of everything - city sites, a grocery, train station, restaurants, and shopping. Quiet street and building. Very kind and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Great G&Ts, yummy breakfast, and A/C!!!

Tasteful, discrete, very cozy hotel, with well appointed rooms, and a pleasant common area for breakfast. Very courteous staff. The location is convenient, plus our room overlooked the river. Breakfast is good and simple -- as it should be. The hotel is on a quiet street due to restricted, minimal traffic (owing to a nearby building) so you get to sleep without ambulance and other city noise.

Stayed for 5 nights on a recent visit to Florence. The hotel was the perfect base for exploring this magical city; only a 20 minute walk to the majority of the sights and just across the river from a multitude of excellent bars & restaurants. The hotel itself is amazingly decorated with friendly, helpful staff and the included breakfast is lovely. The rooftop terrace is also a great place to chill out with a glass of wine after a hectic day of sightseeing. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Lovely place to stay and the most comfortable bed ever!! Very good breakfast and great staff easy to walk into the centre. We booked a small room and it was very small but the bed made up for it. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Florence

This was our splurge hotel, for our budget, on our month long trip to Morocco, Italy, and Portugal, and it was well worth it. Huge modern room overlooking the beautiful Arno River, triple sheeted super comfortable king bed, large modern, clean bathroom with lots of hot water (and great water pressure). Great wi-fi connectivity, fantastic breakfast in their beautiful living room/ lounge, elevator (we don’t take this for granted as we’ve stayed in picturesque/rustic old hotels in Italy). Super quiet as it is located amongst the consulate buildings, and a lovely 20 min. walk into “downtown.” I highly recommend, not a single complaint.
