Cannot find fault with this hotel. The staff are wonderful and helped with booking tickets to museums twice for us. Once for same day tickets and then to see Michelangelo’s David early the next morning. Cannot praise the team enough. The room was comfortable and we had free glass of Prosecco each. We also had €30 off bar bill or spa treatment. Lovely surroundings in the courtyard. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel is close to all the major attractions. Would definitely book again.

Very close to the train station, and everything else, everything worth seeing is within a walkable distance! Very cozy and clean rooms and great service! Highly recommend!

The staff was excellent and very welcoming. The breakfast was pretty good and the waiter was super. The room was really clean. However, don't plan on having a decent shower - the water temperature varies, even when you don't touch it and if you do try to adjust it, you don't know what you will get. My bed had 2 big dips - one on either side - and squeaked anytime I moved. If you expect to use Wi-Fi to do much, you will be out of luck - when it did work, it was sparse and dropped off as much as it was on, no matter where you are in the hotel. I had to keep reconnecting and even then I timed out of what I was doing. All in all, it's not a bad hotel - just be sure you are not expecting 'upscale'.

I don’t understand why this hotel would have negative reviews. Hotel Rivoli was One of the best places I stayed in, on my Europe trip.
It was a spur of the moment thing and the staff and the hotel did not disappoint. I’m comparing this hotel to places like the Ritz Carlton - although this is smaller, it provides almost the same amenities as a bigger hotel would. Room was immaculate and clean. They provide a laundry service (although it takes a couple of days to come back), there’s a jacuzzi and the room was air conditioned - which is a must during summer.
Staff were great and really helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is incredible; really close to SMN Centrale and great restaurants.
Highly recommend! I will be staying here again if their prices don’t increase.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2024. Staff was great, free breakfast was great, rooms are typical old city sized small (to be expected) but very clean and AC worked great. They had a bar and nice garden to sit in. Close walk to the train and all the main attractions.

It only takes 5 mins walk from hotel to SMN station. SMN Farmacia is just across the hotel, and the well-known Osteria Pastella is also nearby. The breakfast is performed as bottoned-down. The staff are all friendly and willing to help. However the room is not clean. I found hairs and dusts no matter on the bed and also on the ground. The wall is thin. I can hear the sounds of steps from people upstairs. The room is spacious but the bathroom is quite small.

Hotel Rivoli was very comfortable. The rooms were a good size & bedding was clean & comfy. My only issue was with the shower. After setting the shower to my preferred temperature, the shower would fluctuate between perfect to cold to scalding hot! I burned myself multiple times with every shower that I took. This issue never resolved.

The hotel is in the perfect location! I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. My room was cozy, bed very comfortable and bathroom amenities were well stocked. The breakfast was good but the same thing everyday. I was there during Christmas. I highly recommend staying here!

I checked in yesterday on the New Year Eve. The location is perfect as we depend on train from Milan and then to Pisa and Rome.
It is my birthday today and I feel really lucky to spend time in this beautiful hotel. The common room is gorgeous, and because it is during Christmas seasons, they hold an charity exhibition which is very creative nice art work.
About the location, some will worry about the noisy area, but my room’s window is not toward the exterior of the building, so it is really quiet, I didn’t hear a single noise from my room!

Review for people who are traveling with babies. The room was nice and big. They had a very nice play pen and mat for the floor for the baby. The showers were nice and easy to rinse the baby. The big downside to this room is you could not change the room temperature. It was cold in the room and we tried to turn on the heater but it never changed the temperature. The breakfast was just okay. It could have been better. We took the baby to the hot tub and it was a little warm but not hot tub warm. She loved the shallow part.
