Hotel Caravelle in Cesenatico

The most arrogant owner and not caring for his guests! Although they advertise it as a family friendly hotel with lots of activities for kids, that is not true! Most of the kids were bored including ours and afternoon snacks for kids are completely different from what they advertise on their website! We also found the owner being arrogant and impolite towards the staff and there was a guest that left just because of that reason. The one star that I put on here is for the great care and service from the staff as they are the ones that make a nice atmosphere in this hotel. The hotel is also worn out, with really filthy and old furniture and a lift that is really old, unsafe and stops working often. The air conditioning also stopped working, so for 4 days we were suffocating in the rooms! We really feel that we spent fortune this summer for absolutely worse holiday ever!

My wife and her friend took the kids there for holiday this summer, but had such stressful time with the hotel manager and the people who manage the beach that hotel caravelle uses. My wife and her friend were shouted at by the managers because of taking someone else's sunloungers by mistake and were treated in the most disgusting way instead of sorting out the misunderstanding in a polite and civilised manner. Kids were not let to be kids and there had been advertised so many lies on the hotel caravelle and hotel ambasadori's website about evening entertainment. Afternoon entertainment was so boring with the same songs played over and over again! The entertainers themselves looked bored to death! We have never experienced anything like it before! When I arrived to the hotel the last 3 days the lift or the air-conditioning wasn't working. Old and dirty furniture as well.
