Reviews
Swimming pool is very dirty,
and you don’t feel safe at this hotel because the Hause keeping leave the room door open and they left.
And the hotel have electricity car charging but don’t use it, because my car have full charging capacity 95.0 kWh, but they getting payment for 119 kWh for one time charging. But the view is very nice but you can get many hotel in Rimini with nice views. I am wondering how can they keep 4 Star Never recommend this hotel.
Despite the breakfast being good, it wasn't enough to make up for the discomfort caused by the lack of modern amenities and the overall shabby condition of the hotel. The saving grace was the free parking we received, which I am thankful for, but without the helpful lady at the reception, the whole stay would have been extremely disappointing. In summary, I wouldn't recommend the Hotel Waldorf until they invest in significant renovations to match their high prices.
Good points are rooftop pool with bar, convenient location and that would be all
On arrival staff nice, not bad not amazing. (probably not in line with the price we paid)
We had booked the presidential suite for 3 nights. We could not gain access to our room as the door lock was broken, this was eventually fixed the next day and we accessed the room through a second door through a bedroom.
Before booking we were told the rooms were private... There were four of us staying and the two rooms were open plan, not interconnecting rooms which we thought we had booked, so there was zero privacy.
The bathroom was small and cramped and very humid after using the shower.
The beds are rock hard, some of our group liked this the other half didn't.
The coffee facitilites in the room are pointless, two sachets of instant coffee for 4 people.
The rooms and hotel feel very dated. Not new and fresh like the photos online. Even the TV in our room was old and making an electrical crackle and hiss from the rear socket.
If you don't like tiny lifts then do not book here. The lift can fit a maximum of 4 people and that's squashed in together. 2 people is comfortable.
We asked at reception for an iron to iron some clothes to go out for a client meeting... No iron in the hotel. Very strange.
We were then told there was a service to have clothes ironed and this was chargeable per item. The next morning we asked if we sent clothes off would they be back for dinner than evening and we were told yes no later than 7pm. We sent our clothes off to be ironed and at 7pm they didn't return... We had to be at a meal for 8pm and eventually had to leave the hotel wearing the same clothes we'd worn the night before as everything we had to wear had been sent off... Staff were semi apologetic and blamed the hotel owners and management.
We had no hallway lights for 2 nights so returning to the room was in total darkness, make sure you have a flash light on your mobile phone.
Breakfast had a good choice of food. Again not amazing quality but not the worst, but for the price of the hotel stay I'd expect slightly better quality.
The hotel bar at night had a spread of food every evening but the bar was empty and there was no explanation of what this was for... Buy a drink and have a few nibbles? We would have but there barman was never there and the receptionist could make simple drinks and no cocktails.
Overall it felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff in the hotel and they would prefer to sit in an empty hotel. Very strange vibe about this place. We wouldn't stay here again. After all the issues and problems there was no proper apology.
