I chose this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation, mainly because of its private beach. What I didn’t expect was that access to the beach comes with very steep extra charges — sunbeds start at €150 per day depending on their location. When you add this to the already high room rates, the value just doesn’t add up. Reaching the beach is also inconvenient: you have to walk or get a cart across...

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Augustus Resort! In a very short time, they organized the most beautiful decoration for my girlfriend’s birthday, making it such a special and unforgettable moment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive – a special thank you to Emanuele, who was truly such a lovely person and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommended!

Except for the shuttle driver very nice service. Equipment not appropriate as there is no coffee machine/ tea maker standard in the room. Location very relaxing.

This fine hotel , the Lido extension, which faces the sea ,is best described by me as “shabby chic” and I wouldn’t want to stay at another hotel in Forte . My room is ok , but what gives it the edge for me is the excellent service and simple charm of this Iconic small hotel Perfect breakfasts and a lovely beach

Great resort. Maid service was excellent. Breakfast was top notch. Staff was extremely helpful we were here for 2 weeks. Close to beach with walkway that goes under the street directly to beach. Emanuele(server) was extremely kind and helpful, even sent bubble wrap to our room to pack our wine/olive oil. Excellent team.

Hotel in an excellent location, very close to the sea and the center. Indoor parking is available, but only for 3-4 cars. This is a vintage hotel; the carpeting inside is perhaps not only old-fashioned but also unhygienic. The room is not 4-star (there is no pool), and the bathroom is really small. Breakfast was good (it was lovely to eat in the outdoor garden), with homemade cakes and fresh fruit...

Excellent location, adequate room, excellent mattress, professional and friendly service. I wouldn't change a thing about this short experience, and the breakfast was fantastic. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay to fully enjoy the location.

We had a lovely holiday at Hotel Viscardo. We went for 2 weeks end of Sept. to beginning of October. Position is excellent - walking distance to beach about 150m. Walking distance to centre about 300m. 30 minutes from Pisa airport. We used the hire bikes hotel has and rode to see different beach resorts like Marina di Pietrasanta. The hotel is situated in a good spot. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms smaller. We just came from a 4 star in Viareggio. Can’t compare. Here are o waiters, no bar, only at breakfast, 1 person. Breakfast just okay. Although people are mostly friendly,we will never stay here again

We have just arrived at the Hotel Viscardo but the first impression is great! Excellent hospitality, very kind staff, comfortable and spotless room! And above all a stone's throw from the center and the beach .. What else? 😊

We had a great stay at the Grand Hotel Imperiale. It has lovely old-world European charm. The service was excellent. The hotel is very well located in walking distance to the main shopping area and the beach. The beach club was beautiful. Everything was exceptional, from the moment we arrived to our departure. Traveling with our 3 year old, all the staff was always trying to do their best to anticipate our needs and we had a great time. The location is great, the shuttle service very efficient, the breakfast buffet has plenty to offer and the quality is great. We are looking forward to coming back soon !

It was one of the best experiences we've had at a resort in years. The service, facilities, and restaurants were absolutely flawless. The staff was exceptional—every single one of them. We reluctantly departed, but we felt like family by the time we returned. The rooms were very comfortable, and the beach club was wonderful. The SPA was also outstanding. If I could give more stars I would. During the period I stayed here, me and my girlfriend fell off the scooter. We're just spent 5 wonderful days at this beautiful hotel while visiting Forte dei Marmi. I can't say enough great things about it. We had a very good stay at this hotel. Very clean room, respect for barrier gestures. Small gesture of attention for our baby. The beach is less than 10min walk as well as the city center. Hearty breakfast, everything is fresh. The small downside is the swimming pool where we have to buy a swimming cap at 5 euros to enter. It could be provided in view of the price of the hotel night.

Good welcome, good service. Very dated structure with partial renovation of the rooms to give a touch of freshness. But left the 80's closet in the room by removing doors and putting up a curtain ... very cheap. But since they are ultra nice they deserve 5 stars anyway.

Very nice hotel, a little out of the centre, so more quiet at night. Tranquil seating and garden area to have drinks in the evening, with a nice pool, gym and spa. The room was modern and well finished. This was the first hotel room I stayed at in Italy that was actually fairly well soundproofed. Amazing hotel, staff and food! Be prepared to pay extra for everything. 10 euro pr bike or day, 80 euro for a crib for a 4 year old. A cabana on the beach cost everything from 100 to 250 euros for a day.

We had a wonderful stay at St Mauritius. The staff is very kind, helpful and at your best service. The staff at reception is very helpful and reactive. We had our safe that didn’t work end they fixed it immediately. The rooms are very nice, and the beds very confortable. The hotel is super clean and the breakfast is amazing. We loved it and we will definitely go back next time in Forte.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff was super friendly. I was extremely disappointed in my room. The bathroom was old and not renovated. It was also extremely noisy from the guests even-though I was in a room away from the elevator. I guess these hotel, are not sound proofed. I don’t think it deserves a 4 star rating, the most is 3 stars.

We stayed for 1 week and has the most enjoyable time. The staff were particularly helpful, accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I mainly dealt with Stephania and Bazi who were great. The owner was at the property most of the time and added a touch of sweetness to the experience. I definitely would stay here again!

I had the pleasure of spending several days at the hotel this spring creating a virtual walkthrough of the facility. The location is amazing, the structure is elegant and traditional with unique design elements in every room and corner of the hotel. We enjoyed an amazing aperitivo in the garden and found the service very friendly.

Absolutely phenomenal stay, I cannot wait to plan a trip back. We were traveling with our (almost) 2 year old and they were so accommodating (and even drove us to a hospital when he fell and hit his head—he’s ok!). I stayed here years ago on business. Even now, years later, have only the fondest memories of my stay. The food of Italy is my fondest memory due to my stay in this hotel. I am writing this review some 24 years late.

We only stayed one night, but the rooms are good and clean, the breakfast is great and the dinner in the hotel is lovely, they are very friendly but. It over friendly or helpful, but they were just good for a feel Of old Italy.

Beautiful rooms, hotel and pool. Really poor, albeit expensive breakfast (what a shame for a hotel hosting a Michelin star restaurant)… no water on your bedside table, so cheap for a 5* hotel.

Stayed here in August 2023 for 6 nights. Can’t recommend it enough. Staff were so lovely and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable and luxury without the luxury price tag. Very, very nice chic hotel in Forte deli Marmi. Service was outstanding, they even send a car for you after you've had dinner at a restaurant in town. The location is perfect, a few blocks walking distance from he town center. They have bicycles to use for free. The streets have large cycling lanes. The beach club was nice.

We tried the newly opened restaurant. The 7 course testing menu by the chef is really superb. The place is newly renovated and the service was good.
