The location is good. No pool (make shift tiny pool for kids to splash around in). No beach access unless you already belong to a beach club
Renting a bike is a must which is 15 euro a day
Breakfast is great
I recently stayed at Hotel Acapulco in Forte dei Marmi, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite its four-star rating, the hotel falls short of expectations in several key areas.
**Rooms and Amenities:**
The rooms are completely outdated and do not meet the standards of a four-star hotel. The decor and facilities feel more like a two-and-a-half to three-star establishment at best. One of the biggest issues was the noise level at night. The sound insulation is extremely poor, allowing every footstep and piece of luggage being moved in the corridor to be heard clearly in the rooms. This made for very restless nights.
Additionally, the hotel lacks a pool, which is typically expected in a four-star accommodation. There is a small jacuzzi, but it hardly compensates for the absence of a proper swimming facility.
**Staff and Service:**
One redeeming quality of Hotel Acapulco is the staff. The people working here are very pleasant and always willing to assist. Their friendliness and professionalism were much appreciated throughout my stay.
**Location:**
The hotel does have a good location, being close to the center of Forte dei Marmi. This makes it convenient for exploring the town and accessing local amenities.
**Overall:**
In summary, Hotel Acapulco does not live up to its four-star rating. The outdated rooms, lack of a pool, and significant noise issues detract from what could otherwise be a pleasant stay due to the excellent staff and good location. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a true four-star experience.
