Hotels with beach in Forte dei Marmi

Great place to stay but I am surprised even the hotel guest has to book and pay for a subbed on the beach.

I chose this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation, mainly because of its private beach

What I didn’t expect was that access to the beach comes with very steep extra charges — sunbeds start at €150 per day depending on their location

My room is ok , but what gives it the edge for me is the excellent service and simple charm of this Iconic small hotel Perfect breakfasts and a lovely beach

Once there, the food at the beach bar was disappointing and well below expectations. On the positive side, the hotel itself is stylish, the décor is beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent

Several other travelers told us that there are very good hotels right on the beach, closer to the city center, and at much more reasonable prices

Down to a person, the staff were all friendly and helpful. They genuinely seemed happy that you were there. Finally all the details here (parking, checking in, checking out, etc

The hotel breakfast was wonderful, even by high Italian hotel standards. The hotel offers all sorts of options for things to do like bikes, a pool, and special meals

) were handled in a simple and unfussy manner that added to the strong sense of peace and serenity the place already exudes

Only criticism is that the pool area needs a makeover as it is dated and not up to the standard of newer hotels. However, that is reflected in the price differential. I would definitely recommend it

This hotel was so nice and the price was so good, that I am almost reluctant to review it and "let the secret out"

The room was very nice, made exceptional by the incredible view of the mountains behind Forte dei Marmi and the lovely balcony. I could have happily spent the entire day there

The pool area is beautifully done. The beach club, Dalmazia has the same understated elegance. Food there was excellent with service to match. Our favorite spot was the rooftop bar

Full disclaimer, I think the rooms tend to run on the smaller side in general. So keep that in mid when booking. I would describe the decor of the accommodations as similar in feel to say the Edition in Miami

We were met by Nico, the manager at check in who surprised with an upgrade to a lovely Junior Suite. My bathroom was the size of a bedroom. In fact I kind of wish my bedroom was a little larger

We had just arrived from Portrait Milano and their breakfast is hard to beat. Beach club was nice but we had booked in advance and it wqs cloudy and windy most of our stay

Thrilled with our choice to stay at The Principe. It was flawless from beginning to end. The property will have you at hello. Contemporary chic at its best

Very dated structure with partial renovation of the rooms to give a touch of freshness. But left the 80's closet in the room by removing doors and putting up a curtain

Hearty breakfast, everything is fresh. The small downside is the swimming pool where we have to buy a swimming cap at 5 euros to enter. It could be provided in view of the price of the hotel night

I stayed here years ago on business. Even now, years later, have only the fondest memories of my stay. The food of Italy is my fondest memory due to my stay in this hotel. I am writing this review some 24 years late.

It is my favourite hotel at forte dei Marmi. Very cosy, clean , the staff are very kind and obliging. On sea front , nice breakfast with freshly baked cakes homemade style. A nice hotel.

Very, very nice chic hotel in Forte deli Marmi. Service was outstanding, they even send a car for you after you've had dinner at a restaurant in town

The location is perfect, a few blocks walking distance from he town center. They have bicycles to use for free. The streets have large cycling lanes

Me and 2 other brits came to stay at this hotel for 4 days. The owners and staff are fantastic and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend this place. They didn’t raise an eyebrow at us being here for a drinking holiday!

Pedro was an excellent host and owner of the hotel and very attentive to all the needs of all the customers. And Mimi was a very pleasant surprise greeting me at the door every time I entered

The hotel is charming, clean and everything that I imagined Italy to be. We had 2 rooms connected by a central door with a bathroom. The main bedroom had a huge balcony with a king bed and other bedroom had 2 twin beds

A beautiful Italian resort Hotel WOW. As an American traveling to a foreign country it can be daunting. Hotel Kyrton was like visiting family, friendly, familiar and welcoming and that was my first impression

Very clean rooms and beautifull place

Our bedroom was very clean and fully functional! The bathroom was brand new! Breakfast room and outdoor area are spacious and welcoming and the breakfast buffet (off season) still beats by far anything I ever saw in Italy and even beats many breakfast offerings elsewhere in Europe

Trust your online instinct! What a great find! Best combination of location, heartfelt hospitality, the BIGGEST Italian breakfast I ever came across on a budget! Yes it is not a modern construction but you can see everywhere, that they are transforming bit by bit the entire hotel

We used to stay in this hotel with my family every year throughout my childhood. I don't know if the owners are still the same people but it was the loveliest hotel I had ever been to

Children can play safety in the sorround area. We asked for the towels for beach and they were provided immediately. The breakfast has a lot of choice still after few days remains the same

It was better then the photos on the internet, the service was very good and the people working there were very nice. It's in front of the beaches on the other side of the road. It has a nice SPA and a very nice parc

Huuugeeee room on the 3rd floor with a large outdoor terrace where you can sunbathe. Private kitchen with all necessary kitchen gadgets. Very tasty food in the restaurant. Helpful and hospitable staff✌

Nice apartment. Kitchen mini but everything is there. Even a dishwasher. For Italy, the rooms are large. The Studio has no balcony or terrace! The only one it.

The origins of this hotel date back to before 1920

The breakfast is rich and good and every morning the staff presents some specialties made by them, we also had dinner and I must say that the dishes were good, in any case, outside the hotel, there are restaurants and pizzerias of all kinds

The hotel is tastefully furnished, the outdoor spaces are well cared for, the rooms are basic but clean and functional, it is located in front of the sea and with a nice walk you can reach Marina di Pietrasanta

This place has some of the most helpful and kindhearted people. Its conveniently across the street from a little market and less than 5 mins away from the laundromat as well as anything else you'd need

You can see the sea and the mountains depending on the room. They are always fully stocked with everything to suit any desire youd need

Very good place to stay in city

No nets at the windows to stop mosquitos from going in the room and no air con is a bad combination, as at night you either sweat or let the mosquitos in. The rooms need a bit of TLC but the location is good

Also, had some lovely ladies shouting bad words at us going partying cause they wanted to sleep. Probably not a good place to go to with friends, better for families

For a two-star hotel, it's truly ideal. The hotel is dated but very clean. The owners are very kind. Excellent breakfast. Beachfront location, on-site parking. New bathrooms, refrigerator, Wi-Fi, large TV. Recommended.

The pool isn't huge but it's more than enough to cool off. The hotel is 4 km from Forte dei Marmi and 4 km from Marina di Massa. At 600 meters from the hotel there is a free beach with shower

The less star is meant to be a stimulus for small maintenance work that would make the hotel even more valuable. For example, blinds that do not work well so at 5

On the promenade there are many restaurants and pizzerias where you can eat well at decent prices. I don't rate 5 stars because it should be perfect

Very nice Hotel in a 5min bike distance from the beach. There are free bikes available and can be used every day. The pool is a good alternative for a day or two

All staff used masks and disinfected table and rooms after usage. Rooms not the biggest would alright for a couple of beach days. Free parking is also available

The evening meal was ok, the breakfast disappointing, after looking at the pictures that have been posted was expecting some pastries etc but just some dry sliced bread, maybe we get more choice as the week goes on or maybe the pictures were just staged

As others have said the rooms are different sizes, mine was one of the small ones but comfortable, you don't spend a lot of time in your room anyway and they have everything you need, plenty of plug sockets

Would I recommend it? As long as you don't have high expectations I would say yes, it's comfortable enough, has a fantastic rooftop seating area, friendly staff, good location

I regretted having dinner at the property this night and did not enjoy the experience. Additionally this table were not guests at the hotel, so that added to the downside of the experience

Many restaurants were closed due to the winter time, so we had far less options for Lunch which proved difficult. It was hard to eat a panini from a small random shop and then go to a really nice dinner at the hotel

This really ruined that night, as the ambiance of fireplace, music, and loud kid shows really didn't mesh and distracted me from enjoying or even talking at my table. This was a major flaw in a 5 star experience

I stayed a couple days during carnival holidays, rooms are nice but what really got me was the overall experience. Good location, good food and fine people, I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely recommended

We particularly liked the hotel from 1920. Sure, not everything is new there. The Art Nouveau villa and our room were very nice and the modernized bathroom was in good condition

The hotel located near the sea, is situated in the '40th old private villa. There is only a few rooms inside and a very friendly owner.

Breakfast perhaps too simple, in the sense that there were always the usual slices of cake that probably no one touched, perhaps empty defrosted croissants and the savory meal consisted of a few slices of ham and cheese with small sandwiches Lunch and dinner, the courses were good, some dishes we had an encore because they were very interesting, the waiters a bit slow, but perhaps it was due to the...

The hotel is located in the Focette area, practically on the border with lido di camaiore, unfortunately there is nothing in that area, in the sense that there are no shops or stalls, markets, etc

The sea is 300 meters away, the center of Marina di Pietrasanta is 25 minutes on foot, less than 5 minutes by car. Viareggio and forte dei marmi are 15 minutes away by car

My family and I stayed here July 18-25, 2020. Friendly and very helpful staff. The facility is well maintained, although the elevator is very hot as it is outside

The room has basic but well-maintained furnishings, and the bathroom has a discreet, enclosed shower

The location is also very convenient – just a 4–5 minute walk to the beach

The area is quiet, residential and just a few minutes from the beach. The beach package is not included in the price. Small thing to improve: too much speed between one course and another at dinner

Seaside location where everything is very clean and tidy, spacious and well-kept beaches, the sea is very cloudy with a sandy bottom that rises a lot, in the evening lots of choice for kids, but not much for families

Third stop in Marina di Massa and Forte dei Marmi. Accommodation with half board, breakfast not buffet as for the health emergency it is done to fill in everything on a sheet with the preferences as for the dinner menu

The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is perfect and offers plenty of choice. In February the rates are very advantageous. However, the hotel does not provide evening catering during this period

I also noticed, on the part of all the staff, a considerable fast and decisive attention towards the customer. The sea is a few steps from the hotel and the bathing establishments are for all budgets

We spent 10 days in this beautiful hotel and what to say we felt at home. all the hotel staff is kind and helpful, Stefano and Daniela also make you feel at home

Quite good for a 3 star hotel. Newly refurbished, room size is decent, breakfast better than expected (although not amazing) Use of bikes too

Bikes to lend are free, but most of them more or less broken :) Wifi also free and running well. Free private parking however is a real pro in the area. And sea view from the balconies that have it really great

The only major problem is the balcony door - if you're on the balcony and the door closes, there's no way to open it so you're stuck there until you call the front desk to set you free

Rooms quite nice, good furnished, hotel lovely decorated and maintained, but not as quiet as they pretend, cause next to a very frequented transit road

Included breakfast is disappointing level (even fried eggs would be billed as 'extra' for 5-7 Euro), except the tasty croissants
