The vibe in the hostel is steampunk submarine. They have dark gray carpet and walls with a whale on the ceiling in the large common room where breakfast was served. Bar was very limited.
The second room was a triple decker - imagine having three bunk beds in one row. The pricing isn't cheap either - it was about 47 euros for one night. For that kind of price I had expected a better room.
The luggage storage is paid after check out.
Genova is not a pleasant town to stay in. Didn’t feel safe even in the streets near the hostel.
They were kind and stored my meds in their kitchen fridge.
The bed was quite hard which was the only drawback. They have a lift, so that's nice w suitcases. There's free water and you get a few drink ticket. Towels cost €2. Breakfast was a good deal for the price with a lot of selection.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Wifi worked well all over. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm.
I recommend using ears plugs and eye mask during sleep which you can also get from the reception.
