It's halfway up the mountain in Genoa, a little far from the attractions, about a 20-minute walk. There's nothing fun in Genoa, so it's suitable to rent a car and drive from the beach

Breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop, complete with a whirlpool overlooking Genoa, was a fantastic bonus. Evening drinks were refreshing, and the spa area was perfect for unwinding after sightseeing

It's a waterfront, and it's surrounded by beautiful places such as a pirate ship, which is built on the 20th century to make movies (I called it colombos ship) As well with a good restaurants, aquarium,and many things The room that we booked was big with a big terrace and great views to marina

The staff are friendly and helpful. Genova is not that big, so you can visit it all within 2 days. So I suggest like what we did to visit other beautiful places like Camogli , San fruttuoso and portofino

We stayed for several nights and found this hotel to be an excellent choice. The position was really central and views from our room and the bar/restaurant were amazing

There is a secure parking garage. It's just a few minutes down from scenic Nervi and the waterfront. A giant Coop (like a Walmart) grocery store is next door, which is perfect for stocking up on snacks and anything else

There is a small supermarket downstairs, open until 10 o'clock, which is convenient for shopping. The highway is very close, which causes the problem of vehicle noise at night. The hotel should provide free earplugs

As a Platinum Bonvoy member, I was surprised that AC does not offer free breakfast. Breakfast cost was 16 Euros and they provided a $10 voucher for food

I'm finding a pretty significant disparity (no free breakfast) between the AC brands and all other Marriott properties where I have spent time. Breakfast was good but only had 1 coffee machine to service everyone

Booked this hotel on a whim and arrived late in the evening -- GREAT FIND!! The staff was so nice and welcoming. This hotel is located off the motorway, so it's perfect if you're driving a car

Location is good, just a short distance from E80. We parked our car and used the local bus to go into town which was not only cost-effective but a big help with not having to drive in maze

I was very well greeted by a very nice front desk staff including Anna and a colleague who lent me a charging cable for my phone and then I went to get some food in the lobby/bar while I decided if I was going to stay, time during which I got myself a nice burger and a beer to take advantage of their specials menu and watched some Italian soccer while at it while listening to amazing Latin music

Overall the site is a hidden gem in Genova that provides its customers with a true Genova experience for a fair price and a versatile management and place where you can get fun and quiet time at the same time - all this with a good wifi and a nice breakfast, hence why I recommend it

Speaking of cooking, the shared kitchen was a wonderful bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel provides free pasta and vegetables—such a thoughtful touch! Overall, a great experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere

For the price it was a very good hotel. Relatively clean - great staff - big enough - modern looking - big buffet at breakfast - great location. There is a strange smell in the rooms but that was the only downside

The hotel was lovely, a fresh respite in a crowded, difficult to navigate old city. The front desk folks were so helpful and kind. Breakfast was complete and yummy

I really enjoyed my two night stay at the Palazzo Grillo. The location was very central in Genoa, the building was absolutely stunning from an architectural point of view (I imagine it was a listed historical building)

The room was a bit Spartan but the general cleanliness and order of the entire hotel more than made up. Being IN an historic home was a treat!!! I heartily recommend Palazzo Grillo

Next to it, the door was open, but the cleaning lady was in the room next to it. Information on the location, very central, everything is walkable from there

It's a multipurpose location where can spend a marvelous weekend over the Ligurian riviera, organize a wedding/ birthday/ baptism or just walk in on the restaurant that they run inside the hotel whose open the entire year

I will love to give a 6th star to this hotel but Google doesn't let me do it :) if you are near Genova just run to the Nervi neighborhood and visit that "castle" in front of the Mediterranean! (I got many pictures of it just give me a couple of days to upload'em)

Beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning position on the Ligurian Riviera and well positioned between Genoa City and the lovely towns of Portofino and Santa Margarita. Quiet, refined and tastefully decorated

Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and parking was abundant. We had a little walk along the promenade access via a gate at the bottom of the grounds, the cliff top view was incredible

The rooms as large and well equipped we were most grateful for the air-condtioning as this had been a bit hit and miss on the trip so far. Breakfast was a good mix between continental and western

The room was clean and basically appointed. The free WiFi requires a review and acceptance of marketing materials; not exactly "free" WiFi.

The reception staff, restaurant team, and management were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. Your warm hospitality and excellent service truly made my experience memorable

Easy to navigate if you have a car or use the only company Taxi services in Genoa (at their mercy). 10-15 minutes to Airport by Car, minutes from the Ferry Terminal and 15 minutes from the Cruise Port

They speak French, which is very convenient. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. The service is efficient and clean. The only downside is that the sheets aren't changed every day

Always very comfortable. Professional and overly kind staff and you feel immediately "homey". Rooms spotless, functional with "sweet dreams" beds and plenty of pillows. Never fail !!

Stayed there as usual, breakfast was good. Convenient location. Very close to the fountain, many restaurants around. The room was quite clean, it would be better to choose a higher floor.

The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right

Book this hotel, basically stay at the Saxx Hotel next door. There is a piece of paper posted at the door of the Continental Hotel, pointing the way to the next door, which is very close, 20 meters away

Pretty hotel by the yacht harbour. Breakfast was supposed to open at 07, but we got everything served at 06. Taxi to the airport was 13 euro. The walk is a little more than 20 minutes. Great sushi restaurant next door

There was a coffee machine downstairs which the guests can use for free and lite snacks too. It’s located right behind the Genoa airport, the taxi charged 15 euro to take me to the airport
