Hotel Britannia

We had a fantastic stay at Britannia Hotel Genova! The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk from the train station and close to all the main attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

What really stood out were the amazing common areas. The terrace is a lovely spot to relax, especially with its charming herb garden, where you can pick fresh herbs if you’re cooking. Speaking of cooking, the shared kitchen was a wonderful bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel provides free pasta and vegetables—such a thoughtful touch!

Overall, a great experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Very good Hotel. Amazing view as well as nice bar.

I arrived there with no battery, completely improvised and unplanned. I was very well greeted by a very nice front desk staff including Anna and a colleague who lent me a charging cable for my phone and then I went to get some food in the lobby/bar while I decided if I was going to stay, time during which I got myself a nice burger and a beer to take advantage of their specials menu and watched some Italian soccer while at it while listening to amazing Latin music. Every single person in the staff of that hotel is super nice, from front desk to bar tenders, I extend my sincere gratitude to you - for your flexibility with your customers, for your patience and the care you had with me. Overall the site is a hidden gem in Genova that provides its customers with a true Genova experience for a fair price and a versatile management and place where you can get fun and quiet time at the same time - all this with a good wifi and a nice breakfast, hence why I recommend it. Thank you!

Very friendly, casual place. Good value for the price. Excellent location. Rooms are basic, but spacious and have all which is necessary. I plan to go back when I have to be in Genoa

Great hotel. Stayed six nights and I would highly recommend. Avoid the breakfast. It's terrible. No bread but lots of cakes . My last day was a Saturday and after I had gone to the small bakery across the street to buy bread, there was bread!! Only at weekends I was informed. This information should be on the website.

- There is no set of stairs accessible from the ground floor so you have to use the elevator which can be time-consuming at busy times.

The breakfast was pretty good

For the price it was a very good hotel. Relatively clean - great staff - big enough - modern looking - big buffet at breakfast - great location. There is a strange smell in the rooms but that was the only downside.
But all in all worth the price and I would recommend it.
