Nautilus Hotel

My family and I stayed at the Nautilus for one night with two rooms. Lovely clean and modern rooms. Easily accessible to stores and restaurants. We stayed here to be closer to Taormina without the chaos. The breakfast buffet exceeded all our expectations and was delicious in variety of pastries to hot tasty food, fresh fruit and espresso machine. They offer non dairy milk too! Usually in Europe you rarely see that.

Parking is super easy and convenient- right in front of the hotel with in and out privileges. Staff were accommodating and welcoming! We all enjoyed our one night stay would def recommend to stay here if you don’t want the chaos of heavy traffic Taormina.

We recently stayed at Nautilus hotel and we were very impressed with the exceptional hospitality and cleannesses of the room. The breakfast was excellent.I would highly recommend it. The location is fantastic,close to the beach and bars , restaurants.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Service is wonderful, family owned and they are gracious and appreciative of our stay. The hotel is newly renovated and modern. The seaside view room is totally worth it. Glass balcony directly facing the sea. Rooms are so clean, high tech and modern.
Breakfast so delicious on the patio facing the sea.
Location great at the bottom of Taormina and has parking. Ask for Luca the car driver- he’s amazing!
We traveled with our 3 teenage kids and had a wonderful experience!! Love this place. We’ll be back… Rocco is the owner - so nice and welcoming!

A true gem of a hotel, traditional hotel layout but so modern and finished to the highest standard.

The breakfast times are good and the breakfast bar remains well stocked thouroghout the serving times. Nor are there staff hanging around encouraging you to leave as soon as they are supposed to close.

The choice of food at breakfast is amazing for a small family run hotel.

Staff are kind and attentive.

Only slight niggle was the need to have to ask for shampoo but compared to all the massive plus points it could not distract from the incredible hotel with stunning views.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff was very lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. It’s a newer hotel so everything is clean and modern. Definitely recommend getting a room with a sea view!! So worth it. In walking distance to great restaurants as well

Wonderful hotel. Wonderful. First room types. We had executive with sea view. The rooms have a balcony with a few chairs and a small table. There is a large bed at least queen size if not king. It’s quite firm. There are myriad lights with many different switches. The balcony has a glass sliding door, and there is a metal type door that slides down from the ceiling that you can use at night to block the light. The balcony has an amazing view. Right across the street are two small beaches and two rock jetties? You can see the beautiful sea from your balcony or from your room. At night even with the door closed you can hear the sounds of the surf crashing. It’s gentle and lulling. You might have trouble leaving, as we did. The bathroom has a toilet, stand up shower and a bidet. The shower is large enough for one adult. So that could be better. There is room on either side of the bed for a 24 inch suitcase. There are two suites on the roof that have their own hot tub and a larger terrace. More expensive but I wish I would have reserved it. It sold out while I was deciding. The lobby is staffed by very friendly workers and they seem close like a family. Check in was fast. The English of most of the workers was quite good and they seemed quite appreciative at my attempts at Italian. The breakfast cafe is directly opposite the lobby and has some seating on the outdoor patio also. The view of the sea is wonderful. Sicilian breakfast leans heavily towards sweet cakes and options. There is an automatic coffee machine. They also have eggs, if they run out you can ask for more. There is free parking on the street outside. We didn’t have a problem, but in high season I can see how it might be an issue. There is paid parking somewhere down the street. I recommend a car as it makes exploring so much easier. There is a spa on the top floor with massage and other services. Limited English by the spa staff. At night there is a bar that the receptionist can make you a drink hot or cold. And they will sit and chat with you if you wish. They were quite friendly to us. I highly recommend the hotel. I hope we can one day visit again.

This is a very good hotel. The majority of photos of the rooms are of the ones facing the sea. Our room, which was the only one available at the time of booking,was not. There are seven rooms on floors one to three, all different sizes. Three of the seven face the sea, with balconies. Of the remaining four, three have " balconies ", and one does not. Our room, unfortunately,did have a balcony with two chairs, overlooking the busy road at the back, and into people's apartments, but was very small with little storage space. Perfect for a one or two night stay, especially if on business, but not for a week's holiday. It was however, very clean and modern.
The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. The a/c is very effective.
The hotel is towards the end of the strip, towards Taormina. Bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk. Good supermarket, about 800 metres away, plenty of restaurants, within walking distance.
Apart from the room, I would have given everything 5 stars, and if we were able to have had one of the sea view rooms, I am sure that I would have done so. Nevertheless,a very good hotel.

Really good hotel. One star minus due to the small size of the bathroom but more the uncomfortable beds. We are normally pretty easy when it comes to sleeping well but the beds really need an upgrade as it is not on the same level as the rest of the hotel.

Nice clean modern rooms, good breakfast, nice location at the beach. Parking around the hotel free. Friendly staff. We had a small problem with our room and they gave us an other room straight away.
