I am really not used to the 5*treatment but if this is anything to go by, I am converted for life. I do not like spending €5 on a bottle of water but it was worth spending that amount on a cup of tea just to see it presented in such a fashion. Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms clean and spacious.. The pools wonderful, the food delicious. The staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel does not understand the policy of payment for drinks at the pool bar. On Friday, the juices were given for free, on Saturday, the juice , it turns out, were paid and we only found out at check-out when I had to pay for everything. The hotel is on a hill, very dangerous road to the sea. The Shuttle does not go. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if traveling with children.

Very friendly Hotel. Excellent quality / price ratio. The room great . We dined very well with the quality of fish excellent. Only drawback is the swimming pool. There is the floor and being all deep and is not accessible to those who do not know how to swim.

Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. Couple of issues we had were swiftly dealt with by the very helpful reception staff, don't understand some of the negative reviews on here.

The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. It is a Great place to stay, with very nice staff that helped us a lot , everything was so clean, the breakfast is delicious , variable and fun , the view is relaxing,romantic ,we could hear the waves with open window and it just incredible.
