The staff are very welcome and keep a very good clean hotel with an ample breakfast of fresh fruits yoghurt cakes eggs meats and toast, right in centre of lschia,
The rooms are simple and a little dated but the helpfulness of the property and staff deserves a super positive review. They advised us in all the choices, from the beach to the restaurant and we always enjoyed it. The Hotel Villa Diana is very central, as soon as you leave the door you find yourself directly in the main streets where there are all kinds of shops and it is very close to the sea, just...
If you are in Ischia and you want a lovely 50s experience... just leave your phone at home... and book a room at Villa Diana... this way you wouldn't be able to leave any rating here 😂
The rooms are okay, worth a three star. Our room had a balcony with a view over the main street which was super cozy! The personell recieve 5 starts for being super friendly and giving great service! Enjoyed my stat here.

Could be excellent hotel as perfect position and has style but poor management makes it average. No internet in bedroom Lovely sea and wide views from superior room. Filthy shower next to thermal pool. Reported but still like it two days later. Management informed but did nothing about it. Very knowledgeable and helpful receptionist called Giovanni- should be manager. Tide mark all around the...
Very nice hotel, amazing staff; Hotel itself requires some TLC especially around the inside pool and steam room; that being said it is immaculately clean, with friendly, English-speaking staff. Great outside pool area with warm water (in May when sea temperatures resembled iceberg) Tip: if booking out of season do so directly with the hotel (found amazing deal around £70 cheaper than via comparison...
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our spacious triple room was perfect for our family, providing plenty of space for us and our daughter. The view was stunning, and the food from the restaurant was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Ischia.
Hotel is in a great location, the pool area is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite dated, if you look too closely you will see it needs work doing to it. The rooms are clean but basic, one side of the bed had a lamp the other didn’t. We requested a lamp but it never came. Products in the bathroom are poor, take your own! Some of the plug sockets didn’t work. But we...
The location is excellent, 10 minutes feom the beach and 2 minutes from the main/shopping streat. The receptionist was kind and helped us. We asked for an iron and it wasn’t available for 2 days. They steamed our clothes for free :) The swimming pool looked nice but wearing a cap was mendatory which was unpleasent because 30°, so we skipped the swimming pool.
Outstanding comfortable friendly a pleasure to stay close to centre very very clean hugest private balcony overlooking a green garden good breakfast lots of power points and lights loved our stay there

Incredible location.. rooms not especially clean.. dirt in corners, doors to balcony couldn't open without kicking and pulling in it with all my bodyweight.. but the pools both outside and inside itself is worth the stay! The breakfast was the worst of all hotels we stayed on.. and dinner was to late and really boring.
Very nice hotel in a perfect location. My room was spacious, luxurious, and furnished with care.
Much better than I thought it would be. Lovely room and value for money.
Nice family Hotel. Given the size of the Hotel, you'd expect it to be expensive, but it is not. It has all the comforts you need to spend a nice vacation with your loved ones. It has 3 pools and lots of areas for the kids, as well as a mid-night bar for the adults. Well balanced, and nice attention. If you're in this part of Italy and need to crash a few nights, this might be your best choice.

Clean well serviced rooms. Only draw back no balcony. Very helpful staff. Beautiful pool, which is a rarety in resort
amazing place. looks like botanic garden with fantastic sea views
Staff are friendly and service is very good. The hotel offers a great sea view. The nearest village/ town, San Angelo is a 10 -15 minute walk away where there are numerous restaurants and pizzeria's. The thermal pools at the hotel are worth a visit. However, the hotel advertised a gym which didn't exist. Numerous other activities such as yoga classes were mis-advertised. Lovely hotel for a relaxing vacation, clean sea, a few thermal pools with water temperature ot18 to 42 degrees, clean rooms, polite staff, varied menu in the restaurant. The holiday was a success!
Wonderful place, - impossible not to resort to cliches! Great views, with room looking out over the sea, and sound of waves to lull you to sleep and to wake up with. Sea water pool and several thermal pools of different temperatures, all with a sea view. Also natural sauna! Tranquil, friendly atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Well maintained, fantastic pool. Let's itself down a little as no evening entertainment, food repetitive and all cleared away by 9pm. Feels a little like an upmarket retirement village.
Absolutely loved our stay in Ischia! The owner and staff at both the reception and restaurant make this hotel special. Nothing was ever too much for them and they went above and beyond to help us explore the island. The owner even managed to get us boat tickets to Capri when all the tours were sold out. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the Sunday celebration night under the stars with an...
Lets start of easily. If you are wondering about checking into this hotel, do not hesitate, you won’t regret it. The experience is exceptional, staff is kind and very open to any request you may have. Food. Absolutely stunning experience. Very friendly family ran hotel, staff always very helpful. We stayed halfboard, food on the evening was great - always fresh, very tasty and portions were just right. Good variety of choices. Breakfast was great too, always fresh - exactly what you'd expect, Continental style - so won't appeal if you're hoping for a full English Breakfast. Ate lunch at the pizza bar a number of times, great views...
Certainly has some lovely aspects but unfortunately it wasn't for us. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is stunning and has breathtaking views. I spent 8 days at the Hermitage in Ischia on a half-board basis and honestly, it was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind, always helpful and genuinely welcoming — you really feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. Breakfast was rich and varied every morning, with plenty of fresh options. But what really stood out was dinner: it felt more like eating in a high-quality restaurant than a typical...
The hotel is nice and has a very nice spa. One of the outdoor pools has hot water so we could enjoy a bath even in early November, as the weather was lovely. The food is not great, there are very few vegetarian options and no vegan options; from a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable anymore in 2024. Also, it is impossible to properly rest as the light enters in the rooms very early, and there is...
This is a lovely hotel, very clean and quiet. It us in a great location for the main town and the old town. The food in the restaurant is excellent however at meals they do not give you a price list for drinks and when you sign against your room there is no price just what you have had. Very well located hotel 10 minutes from the city center, Impeccable room and service, beautiful garden and incredible swimming pool with many deckchairs available, excellent breakfast, very good value for money.
Stayed for a week in July as part of a package . Hotel grounds are spotless , pools lovely ( note you need a hat to be allowed in , as per most Italian hotels ) , good transfer to the beach via mini bus , staff friendly and helpful with things to do and trips , all in all very good and a very traditional Italian feel which we liked. The best part by far was the food - outstanding We were going to...

From the moment we arrived at San Montano Resort & Spa, we knew we were somewhere special and were very excited to explore. Perched high above Lacco Ameno on Monte Vico, the resort offers one of the most spectacular views on the island – sweeping across the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius on the horizon. Just divine. Incredible service, beautiful rooms and wonderful outdoor areas. So many fabulous pools, great poolside restaurant and bar and the view is simply the best. Many thanks to Marco who was always so helpful and kind. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and the bar at sunset drinks sublime. and a gorgeous spa!
Excellent location&breathtaking view and friendly staff. We staying for 5 nights and I must say that every team member including manager was trying to assist and accommodate any requests we had! Rooms are clean, beddings were excellent, food was great- great vacation spot. I would also mention that having shuttle between beach and resort was great addition to the services provided by the hotel staff
Amazing experience, stunning location, and superior service. We took one of the suites with infinity pool access, where enjoyed the tranquillity of the sunset after spending the day through the 11 thermal pool and whirlpool. The restaurants are great, and the staff is highly committed to make the guests experience a “want to come back”. And I definitely will!
The views were amazing! The piano hour and dinner at La Veranda are an absolute must! Salvatore was our server for breakfast and two dinners. He has incredible customer service and very accommodating.
We all very much enjoyed the San Montano. The location is great, the small town near it has all you need, and the beach is perfect. The rooms are on the small side but the balconies, cleaning staff and amenities on the property all make up for it! The restaurant is great as well the breakfast. We want to return again and again!

Amazing little paradise. Exquisite hotel with beautiful grounds and private beachfront. We had an amazing and relaxing time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. There is even a clay tennis court next door which we used.

Loved it and would definitely go back. Great hotel and location - the staff are so polite and can’t do enough for you - such a great place to stay.
Stayed at this hotel for the first time for a week in mid June and I had such a lovely relaxing stay. The hotel really should’ve had a 6-star rating. Everything from service to the pool to the restaurant to pristine condition is absolutely top notch. Loved the room, craved their breakfast (they even ask you how long you want your eggs being boiled for), spent hours by the rooftop pool and quite some time at the spa downstairs. Had absolutely nothing to complain about, and can’t wait for this summer...
The hotel and staff were lovely and beautiful however there was a wasp/ hornet nest on the rooftop next to the pool and we could not enjoy the pool area as it was completely impossible. The pool area was infested and dangerous - very disappointing because we went to the hotel to relax with our baby but had to stay inside our room on the last few days.
The hotel is a hidden gem! Great service first of all. Reception girls were friendly and always with smile explaining to the last details. Breakfast was 7 stars...very sofisticated and tasty!!! Nice hotel in an uninspired location. The breakfast service and selection were poor. The staff were easily overwhelmed by only a few tables. This wasn't due to a lack of effort or care on their part. The bar and pool service were good.

This was our second time in two years. Always a great experience. The rooms were very good with comfortable beds. This year we had great views of the sea. The food was delicious. I would like to say a special thank you to Paolo, Mario, Silvanna and Andrea who run the dining room and bar with exceptional service and efficiency. We will certainly return next year.
Very dated. wifi stopped working a few hours after I checked in. Kinda far from everything good. (in my opinion)… it was a 25 minute walk to the castle. View of the parking lot from our room. Decent breakfast! 😊
Staff very helpful and friendly. Relaxing spa facilities. Antonio pool attendant couldn't do enough for you! Food very Italian excellent especially fish courses. Service very good. The rooms I would say were more 3* than 4* but kept very clean
Excellent location, beautiful setting and beautiful pool area. The service was barely adequate though with reception staff doing the minimum and not very friendly. The main waiter at breakfast twice seated us at the worst table at back away from windows, we had to insist on a different table on third day. Breakfast very average.
About rooms: I loved the relative vintage style. Marmor floors. Spectacular clean. Everything working, wifi somethimes disconneting. It is a very nice island, green and not full of tourists. The hotel is situated in a best strategic place between main street and sea. Outside pool with thermal water, and inside the hotel is termal spa. I recommand for people who want to rest and charging inner batteries
We stayed at this property for a week. Although the furniture and something else are not exactly four-star, it is definitely a good quality hotel with discreet and courteous staff. The meals, perhaps not too abundant, are of undoubted quality and class. Absolutely recommended.

We really enjoyed staying here, everything was great: the spacious room (smart tv extra plus!), the swimming pool, location with amazing sea view from the cliff, en-suite restaurant from another company where we ate almost daily, 20min walk to the port which is very doable during evening (when it’s not so hot anymore), bus stop right in front! This hotel is a hidden gem, absolutely beautiful, very clean, and a great breakfast with the best view in the world. The staff went above and beyond (especially Lucy), and made the stay feel very memorable and fun. Would absolutely go back. Thank you, Thank you!!
Lovely all-tile room. A bit warm, but meant to be cooled by the nice breeze through the window - and that does it. Extremely kind staff, to put it lightly - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Also - (small potatoes compared to the other things) - but the best quality breakfast I've had at any hotel.
Staff were soo helpful! We stayed 2 nights in October and the weather was still warm and easy to get around by bus. Front desk always helped us navigate the buses.
