Just the best experience with a hotel we've ever had. Paola and Dario are exceptional hosts. They will both go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They truly go above and beyond.
The hotel is gorgeous and has all amenities possible. The gardens and pool area were our highlight of the hotel as they are stunning with amazing views.
Location is great as it's very central with plenty of amazing restaurants nearby along with a lovely beach just a 5min walk away. Can't wait to go back.

We spent 8 nights at Hotel Ideal. It was one of the best holidays we've ever been on. Paola and the staff took care of every detail. The hotel is spotless, beautifully appointed and has the most lovely garden. The pool and mineral spring are perfect. The food and service superb! Serenity at it's best!

This was our third trip to Hotel Ideal because we love it so much. Wonderful, peaceful location and stunning gardens and pools but what makes this hotel so fantastic is the lovely staff and service we receive, it’s like staying with friends in an island paradise and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us with anything that we may need. Also, the food is absolutely fantastic! When we stay at Hotel Ideal we don’t even bother going to any other restaurant on the island as the hotel’s food is top notch. Thank you Paola and team, we will definitely be back again next year!

What an oasis! This was my first visit, but my in-laws have been to Ischia 6 times and keep coming back to hotel ideal because it is so amazing.

What makes this place special:
1. large property with lush botanical gardens that you can lounge in
2. The hotel ideal team treats you like a family
3. In additional to a regular pool there is a hot pool with natural thermal waters right on the property.
4. An excellent chef and a great menu, as well as a lovely breakfast spread in the mornings
5. Walking distance from thermal parks, the ocean, great restaurants, and Forio

Our hosts Paula and Dario wery very friendly, actually the whole team were kind and caring. The garden is beautiful, peacefull and relaxing. The two pools were clean, refreshing with enought privacy. We recommend to visit Ischia, there are so many activities, sightsseeing, everything nearby and our hosts give us all information we needed.

Paola the General manager/Owner is the best host I have ever met. After travelling she was a sight for soar eyes! She has such a peaceful demeanor that immediately makes you feel at ease. Everything you hope to have while travelling. She makes it a point to speak to all guests to help plan their day. She takes care of all the reservations from boat tours to astonishing dinners. All of this without being too invasive and again with her beautiful, relaxed attitude that rubs off on you.
Her hotel is just perfect for a beach vacation. The building is old and therefore built to be cool in the lobby even without air conditioning, considering all of the doors are open because connected to the terrace and beautiful garden. Not to worry, the bedrooms are air conditioned! The garden is beautifully designed with characteristic plants, trees, and flowers. the pool is clean and the water temperature just perfect. I have visited many beaches around the island and Cava dell'Isola is the most beautiful and guess what, the closest. Literally 5mins from the hotel. Spritz and full bar are there for you all day, along with delicious lunches and dinners at designated times. This place is perfect for a romantic gateway or for family vacation with young children.
I truly recommend this place and hey, Ischia was just nominated the best Island of the world.
