Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights - meant to be a relaxing end to a city tour. We initially planned to stay at one of the apartments, but they were a bit too far (not a very far walk, but past several restaurants, and far enough that it's inconvenient if you want to have more accessibility to the hotel and facilities), and ended up switching to side-by-side rooms in the main hotel. The apartment rooms, based on what we saw during our initial check in, were also not as cared for as the rooms in the main hotel.
The 5 stars is based on the main hotel and the staff. In our experience, the hotel itself tries to be family friendly (turtle pond and kids lunch menu); however, the clientele are all older/elderly and as the hotel staff mentions, are very particular about having kids near them. In our experience, the hotel is better situated for older kids (12+). Would not recommend for families with younger children - the experience with the other guests definitely took away from our time there.

This hotel was such great value for money and you can tell why people are return customers. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and it really feels like a home away from home.

Having free loungers on the beach and a quick €5 ferry to sant Angelo are all part of the appeal and we will definitely be back!

Wow, what an incredible place this is! My wife and I just got back from a week long stay at this beautiful resort and could not be happier with our stay. As 2 Americans on our honeymoon in Italy, we couldn't have been better taken care of. The entire staff made us feel welcome and tended to any need we had. Everyone was friendly and EXTREMELY professional. It is obvious they know luxury here, but still did so with a personable touch. Shout out Vincenzo!

The property is amazing. The inside and outside pools offer variety so that you never feel jammed in with all the other guests. The thermal waters are legit and felt very healing indeed. The inside of the hotel and rooms were fantastic and provided everything you needed and more. The restaurants in the hotel offered casual and extremely fine dining experiences. All food was delicious and we couldn't get enough of it. Service was top tier as well.

Without a doubt though, the most amazing part of this entire place was the access to the beach/sea right out the back gate. The combination of the pools and beach access gave you everything you needed for a sunny/beachy vacation. The ability to walk the boardwalk and access literally 50+ restaurants all down the coast gave you an endless amount of food at your disposal. As far as what this place looked like and offered compared to the other hotels in the same area, Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme offered above and beyond anything else. We will absolutely be recommending this place and will be back as soon as we can!

The Hotel is really nice, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The beach and the pool are great. Breakfast is continental and for Italian circumstances extensive. The only negative aspect was the room, it was a little bit old. But all in all a very nicr stay and definitely coming back again.

This hotel totally exceeded my expectations. It’s a hotel that has been up kept to a meticulous standard. The facilities, the bedrooms, the restaurant, the staff - all made for a wonderful stay. Complimenti.
