Lovely week away which we booked with Citalia, well organised we were picked up from Naples airport and met by Citalia representative to take us to the port, another representative directed us to the queue for the ferry they took our cases and these were taken on board so all we had to do was get on the ferry amongst all the other people and their cases! 50 minute ferry ride and we were met by another Citalia representative and taxis to our hotel. Our room 210 was disappointing as the view was a partial sea view with mainly a brick wall to look at. We were luckily enough to change rooms the next day to 703 which had a fabulous view. There are a lot of steps in this hotel. We did go down to the pontoon one day which had 286 steps down and then back up! It was all in the shade and you can take your time. Once down there is a ladder so you can get into the sea and there is a bar but offering limited drinks , beer and soft drinks, no wine. Location wise it is great as you can go to Forio by bus which was lovely, although the buses aren’t that regular, but very cheap. We also took a boat trip with Captain Morgan to St Angelo island which was lovely, small but there’s not much time to spend there looking around the shops, having a drink, let alone sunbathing on the beach. I could have gone back there for another day it was so pretty! We did walk down to the port on our first day it was extremely hot and there was no shade and we did struggle 😮‍💨 Stupidly we walked back up having had lunch, I wouldn’t recommend in 30+ degrees of heat. We did eat out down at the port, we caught the hotel mini bus and the local bus back which is very cheap, the hotel last bus back was 7.10pm. At the port there are so many restaurants to choose from and it’s great to watch the expensive boats all moored up. We did eat at the hotel a couple times for lunch but found the menu limited for light options, and the evening menu didn’t seem to change. Overall we had a lovely time and glad we stayed in Ischia, for those with mobility issues would struggle. Friendly staff including Joe, Norma, Anna, Davido, Federica, Manuela.

La Querce exceeded my expectations. The view was incredible and I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. Norma was so kind and helpful when she checked me in and assisted me with my questions throughout my stay. I spent half of my visit enjoying the pool, bar, restaurant and relaxing on my room’s balcony. At other times I went to the port utilising the hotel’s free shuttle. The food and beverage staff were all lovely and I enjoyed having a laugh with them all. I had a recommendation from one to visit Giardini Poseidon Terme and this was one of my favourite days of my holiday, it’s a must see. I took the public bus there and back. Conveniently there is a bus stop out the front of the hotel. I stayed four nights and wish I had longer. It really is a beautiful property and such a pretty and affordable island to visit.

Beautiful location and close to Ischia Porto (15mn walk uphill but possibility to get a free shuttle if you contact the hotel). Views from the room and the dining room were incredible. Staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast deserves a honourable mention, it was delicious and had plenty of options. Ideal hotel in Ischia, I would come back anytime!

A great hotel. Located up above the harbor/town. The walk down into town is fine (you can cut through some alleys down to the harbor) but you will probably need to take the bus back up. The bus stop immediately outside the hotel is very convenient (weekly tickets are very cheap). We never used the shuttle bus as the public bus was far more convenient (although it can be very busy).

The views from the hotel are incredible and are probably this hotel's greatest feature. Rooms are nice and the pool area is also lovely. The beach area is really nice but the walk down is very very steep. Walking up in hot weather is not for the faint hearted. A member of staff at the beach offers basic snacks, drinks and can make espresso and there are toilet facilities down there.

We visited in the middle of August so it was very hot. So we only briefly used the indoor thermal pools/hot tub etc but they are great facilities.

The breakfast was really nice and the view from this room is breathtaking. We occasionally had lunch/evening meals at the hotel. The menu is very similar to all the local Italian restaurants but a little more expensive. We mostly ate in town but dining with the view up there is really lovely and staff are friendly. Drinks can be a little pricey but again you are looking at an exceptional view.

We didn't use the spa services but prices seemed reasonable.

Overall we highly recommend this hotel. If you want the view you have to deal with buses etc on Ischia. This hotel offers a haven away from the busy harbor that is convenient and peaceful.

This was our first visit to Ischia. Myself and my wife were greeted by the most friendly reception staff Joe and Anna. They couldn't do enough for us . The room was absolutely amazing overlooking the Bay of Naples, breathtaking. The dining room also had the same beautiful view and the dining staff were so relaxed and extremely friendly. The breakfast was of a good variety and dinner was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay at your beautiful hotel.

I recently returned from an overall lovely stay at Le Querce. I had never visited Ischia before, and I absolutely loved it. Charming, quiet and peaceful...without the hordes of tourists. The hotel itself was very nice and clean, with a couple minor issues here and there. Like other folks have said too, it could use a bit of updating. The restaurant was wonderful, with a variety of options, plus they feature - of course - the local wine from Cenatiempo which was very good. Couple things to note: -The hotel is located in a quiet spot, about a 20-minute walk from town. The walk down has beautiful views (see photo), but note that the walk up could be more difficult for some folks. The hotel offers a free shuttle, but it may not always run the times you need it. Otherwise, it's 15 euros either way. -The hotel has a thermal outdoor pool which is very nice. It was warm outside and, at first, I kind of missed getting into a cold pool - but it really was relaxing. -It wasn't necessarily worth walking down - or up - the very steep stairs to the beach from the hotel. I did it once just to see, and didn't need to do it again. More beautiful beaches elsewhere. -The hotel can arrange a three-hour private tour of the island for 100 euros. Totally worth it. There are other hotels in town as well, but if you're looking for an even more quiet spot Le Querce is a nice option. Kind staff as well.

It is an older property. The air conditioning was not working to capacity while we were there. Our room was VERY HOT. We complained and were told we would be moved to another room (twice) and then were told, both times, that the air conditioning had been repaired by their tech. The first night we were moved to a room with air.
The 2nd night, we were told the air was fixed. The room was still hot.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Good location with fabulous views from the public areas and room. Enjoyed the pool, water temperature was warm and no shortage of sunbeds. Our favourite spot was the sun deck by the sea. The sea was very clear and clean and a great temperature. Breakfast was delicious with a fantastic choice. Had dinner a few times. Set menu for 45 euros for 4 courses. This was too much food for us so we ate off the main menu and found the food to be of a good standard. The staff in the hotel were brilliant. Extremely friendly and very obliging. It was a great experience staying here. So peaceful and calm in contrast with the busyness of the rest of the island.

I stayed at Le Querce Resort for my birthday week and I had one the best vacations yet. The hotel has incredible value. The staff here are lovely people and made my stay super special. They assisted me with adventuring ideas on the beautiful island of Ischia. This was a great experience as I love exploring and learning about different cultures and places. The staff here are fantastic guides. The breakfast was delicious which brought on a smile each morning whilst also sitting out on the balcony admiring the outstanding views of the sea. Moments of tranquility and warmth felt each day. I truly enjoyed every moment here. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. 💛
