Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we were amazed at the friendliness and hospitality of the staff! They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The spa was very enjoyable and free access also! Breakfast and drinks on the terrace were lovely and the sunset views were incredible, highly recommend!!

We were really excited about this hotel and had booked a sea-view room so that we could enjoy the view while getting some work done from our room. Unfortunately we were very disappointed when on the first day the wifi in our room wasn't working on phones or laptops and data service also was not working. We contacted the front desk about this issue repeatedly and nothing was done. We were forced to sit in the lobby for the duration of our work hours (this was a working vacation) and had to listen to the workers complain about our presence assuming we did not understand Italian. When we asked about a discount for the inconvenience at checkout they acted as if we were crazy and were not sympathetic to the issue. They continued to talk rudely about us in Italian in front of us. The view is nice but there is construction blocking it that has no sign of going away anytime soon. Unfortunately I can't recommend based on the lack of wifi/data service in the rooms or the rude staff.

Amazing location with a full view of the sunset from their restaurant terrace.
Amazing, big spa included. Mostly indoors with one outdoor smaller pool. Better than most spas I’ve seen in hotels before.
Rooms are clean and fresh, not the most modern, but are comfortable and has everything you need.
Overall I think this is definitely worth a stay and has good value for the price. Come for the sunset view and the spa and skip the overpriced spa parks on the island.

Quiet location in walkable distance to most attractions. Lovely staff, especially Carlo the wait staff. Amazing sunset views from the restaurant veranda. Enjoyed the spa facilities. Bed was a bit too hard, but I received extra pillows upon my request.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sunset. Spacious bedroom and bathroom topped by a glorious balcony to view a series of majestic sunsets. Friendly staff and lovely terrace for pre-dinner drinks. Enjoyed the spa even if not everything was in working order. One small gripe, our daughter joined us for a few days but her room was at the back overlooking the parking lot which was quite noisy early in the morning with bin collections. Unfortunately single travellers don't often get the same quality as couples and families. That said I would certainly recommend the Royal Sunset hotel as a great base to explore Forio and the rest of Ischia

Great hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Walkable from the nearest bus stop and close to a lot of great restaurants. This was the perfect place to relax in on rainy spring days and also a good base for exploring the island when the weather got better.
Excellent spa facilities and a great breakfast.
We had a sea-view room and despite the mixed weather the place lived up to its name and we enjoyed the sunset from the balcony every night with a glass of wine or spritz.
The room was spacious and despite being above the restaurant very quiet and private.
The only thing that wasn't perfect for us was that the beds are very, very hard but that's a matter of taste I guess.
Would certainly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place with incredible view to sunset. 👌😍 Perfect place to honeymoon. The wellness was very luxury too

Nice hotel to stay, really at sea and with a room having a balcony on the right side, you can enjoy some very nice sunsets
