This is a really beautiful hotel. Rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day, towels (large and luxurious) are changed every day. Hotel Parma e Oriente was an excellent place for us to stay. We found it by accident because our regular hotel was booked, so I had to find another one. How lucky was I?! The breakfast was excellent. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff was very attentive. I really appreciated both the warm welcome at the reception and the polite and lovely attitude of the service staff. Both the common areas and the room were very clean. We had a great week here the staff were friendly and helpful, the food and wine were plentiful and we had a lovely west facing balcony room. Unlike other hotels they provided two comfy chairs. Although they cater for tour groups as well as couples the staff remembered us and treated us as individuals.

We spent a terrific week at this family run hotel. The staff were all lovely and unfailingly helpful. The restaurant served some of the best food we ate whilst in Italy, and the place itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend Hotel Torretta, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The hotel has a good location. Internet is terrible. The staff are friendly. The bad thing is they allow pets in all rooms. I have severe allergies and when I found out they let pets in all rooms I had no time to cancel. I was itchy in the night. This hotel was very clean but not suited to a single lady traveller as mostly men there for work. From the outside and the reception it looks like a boutique hotel, with very very friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen is surprisingly good! So if you’re not in a mood to go out, remember that it’s kitchen is as good as outside restaurants. This hotel is a good base for exploring Tuscany. The staff were polite and friendly. However in my opinion this is not worthy of a 4 star rating. It was pretty basic, thin towels, no robes, we just had bare walls in a small room. This is a 3 star hotel in my opinion. It’s fine but if you like luxury then you need to go elsewhere.

I had a single room which was small, clean with a single bed. There was a fridge and TV. No kettle so take your own if you like a cuppa. Continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Shops are not far away and you can get a funicular to Montecatini Alto which is lovely. Enjoyed plenty of ice cream.
