This was a really nice and comfortable stay in Monterosso. Very comfortable, the seaside view was amazing. Staff were very friendly and everything was clean. It is steps from the train station, and a short walk to the main area with many restaurants and shops. There is a private beach that is just for the guests at a discounted price for beds and umbrellas versus other areas of the beach, the lifeguard is like security! no nonsense which was so great. This place should have a way better average review!!

The room wasn’t very comfortable and when I asked the gentleman at the front desk for help to turn the AC on he was very unhappy about it. Location was good but sensed an overall coldness from most of the staff.

Excellent air-conditioned home base in Monterosso, right on the beach with excellent views, free breakfast buffet we can take to a private shaded tables above the beach, and access to private guests-only beach area.
Friendly staff, excellent, clean hotel. Lots of hot water. Wide stairway and (luggage-only) lift so you don’t have to haul your luggage up and downstairs.
Central location just steps from the train station, and a short walk to the old town area. Many restaurants and shops, terrific gelato steps away, and around the corner, boddegga and lavendaria (laundry, where they charge €17 to wash & dry a basket of clothes, and deliver them, same day, to the Baia Hotel!).
Agreed with other posting - this place should have a much better average review! Will definitely stay again.

Hotel is 5min walk from train station. Very friendly service. Hotel room is just what we needed for a sea vacation: clean, airconditioning, seaview and breakfast.

Rooms have outdated curtains and bedding, but are clean and well cared for. View from balcony is beautiful. A TWO minute walk from the train station (straight shot, very easy to find). They took my luggage straight to my room. I would stay here over and over again.

Just steps from the train station, this hotel is directly in front of the beach. We loved being able to eat our delicious buffet breakfast outside above the beach. It's a great hotel in the lovely, newer section of Monterosso.

What a nightmare. We refused to stay at this dump. They keep our 600.00 dollars that we had paid upfront. They lied from the beginning.
We traveled Europe for 90 days, this was the worst.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!
We have traveled the whole world and have never found owner, operators, personnel as rude and unhelpful. Starting with my first phone call, all the way to check out were they couldn't find a spot to keep our bags for the day as my wife and I hiked the cinque terre. The room was old, wore out, and small. Other then location(the village is beautiful) this place has nothing to offer. I feel used and ashamed I gave them $200 to treat us the way we were.

For a family-owned and quaint hotel that is a few yards from the Italian Riviera, this place blew my mind! I had an incredible & rejuvenating time staying here, with included breakfast over-looking the water, and splurged for a ocean view room, which you must do -- I plan to return here in the future and invite you to do the same :-)
