Absolute nightmare. The room was infested with bed bugs, leaving my family covered in bites. As proof, I even managed to take a photo of one.
The hotel was filthy and neglected, with an incredibly loud bathroom. What's worse, the staff was rude, dismissive, and lied to our faces. This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of our lives. Avoid it at all costs.

Good location. Easy to everywhere. Clean and friendly. Nice staff. Just what we wanted 😏 free safe key and fridge in room. Happy to stow bags after check out

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Minerva in Pisa. The location is perfect, it's only a 10 minute walk to the train station and about a 20 min walk to the leaning tower of Pisa. There are plenty of shops and cafes close by and the location was super quiet. The hotel was very clean and excellent AC in the room. The breakfast was great with many choices to pick from: fruit/veggies, eggs, cold cuts and of course as many cappuccino as you want. Even though the hotel is basic, we had a great stay and would definitely stay agin.

Very basic hotel, clean but needs better maintenance. Garden at the back of the building needs work done on it as well. Staff pleasant. Breakfast was OK with a good choice. The photos on here are not remotely like the room we had and is in much bette condition. We were two floors up and there's no lift.

This is my third time to stay at this hotel which speaks volumes. Perfect location for exploring Pisa or catching an early morning flight. The rooms are comfortable and have a/c. The breakfast is abundant which you can also have in the garden. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay again.

The lady at the cafeteria is not welcoming at all. I don’t know why she works in front of guests if she is not able to show education and good attitude

i stayed in this hotel for two nights, location was pretty decent, about a 20 minute walk to pisa tower. though the staff, oh my god the disrespect was out of hand, horrible staff. there were 3 receptionists we saw in the two days of staying there and only one receptionist was nice. the staff need to learn some manners. there was a small stain of blood on my pillow also, it 100% wasn't makeup or anything like that. i'm guessing it was an old stain but still that's absolutely disgusting , if the pillow has a stain, get.rid.of.it.
the headboard also fell off the bed? just from sitting down on the bed... weird.
the breakfast was bad, mostly gave it a weird vibe because the staff were just mean and judgy, i felt like i was being watched eating my breakfast as if they were waiting for me to finish. the food wasn't even good, a lot of just packaged cakes etc.

Hotel Minerva is a 3 star hotel that’s very well positioned for the airport, station and main attractions in Pisa, in what I felt was quite a cool area of town! We stayed for 8 nights, and honestly I can happily recommend this hotel. Yes, it’s a little bit dated, but it was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had amazing air con in the heat. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the noisy folding door to the bathroom, or the hallway noise in the morning. At night though, it was very quiet, and breakfast was plentiful with a good variety. It’s clear the manager likes his job (cheerfully hand washing all the plates and bowls in the morning and on reception much of the time) and it has a really nice family feel. We’d stay again :)
