Hotel Garni Cristallo

Apart from the dirt under the bed, the marks on the wall of the room, the restaurant no longer open for dinner or lunch, the improbable hours of the spa (only open from 2pm) I found the staff on the whole not very friendly and not at all welcoming, by contrast two years ago they had been kind. This time we even found ourselves in a situation bordering on the absurd: after handing over the keys for check out at about 10:40, we received a call from the receptionist (Stefania) in which she asked us to make a transfer within ten minutes to allow her to close the practice of 7.5 euros for the tourist tax, almost accusing us of having left without paying it, when in fact it was clearly an oversight of theirs, (clearly on 166 of the room, we would miss not to pay the tax, evidently they are used to having different customers than those I imagined that generally go to the 4 stars). We were on our way to another local establishment to continue our holiday and we certainly could not proceed with the payment in such a short time, among other things asking them politely if they were in a hurry to proceed immediately with the charge directly from the Booking card with which they had previously used to charge us the room. We were contacted twice more in the course of the day, also by another mobile phone to urge us to proceed with the payment of these 7 euros, never admitting their forgetfulness, rather telling us that usually people who check out at 11 am, leave the keys first and then come back to check out later (??), again giving the responsibility to us.
I do not think we will return unfortunately or recommend the hotel as we have done in the past, of course I made the transfer this evening given the general anxiety and unpleasant responses from the staff.
