Tenuta Monacelle

Where to begin…! We got married at Tenuta Monacelle in June 2025 and it was the best weekend of our lives! We had visited the venue 3 times prior to that, as well as exchanged countless phone calls and emails with them - the staff could not have done more for us; a special shout out to Nicola and Remigio who went above and beyond. The hotel is beautiful; extensive, manicured grounds and great rooms (staying in the trulli is really special). The food is fantastic - all our guests commented on how delicious it all was, and the breakfast is not to be missed. The pool is huge with loads of beds to lounge on, and it’s ideal having a pool bar right there. Honestly could not recommend Tenuta Monacelle enough; whether it’s for a wedding or a holiday! Grazie mille to every single member of staff, we will be back ☺️

Beautiful property with amazing gardens and restaurant.
Our room was large and comfortable. Could us a little deco updating and new tv as ours was prehistorical.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The dinner was excellent — delicious food at a very reasonable price. The whole place is quiet and peaceful.

Tenuta Monacelle is a stunning venue in a perfect location—close to the sea, Fasano, and Bari—making it an ideal base for exploring Puglia. I highly recommend renting a car to fully enjoy the region at your own pace. The venue itself is breathtaking, with a beautiful setting that captures the charm of the area. The restaurant is excellent, and I suggest embracing the full Italian dining experience by enjoying a starter, primo, secondo, and dessert—it’s well worth it! Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, which is a great way to start the day. However, the only downside is the use of plastic cups for juice and milk. It doesn’t align with the high standards of the location, and I hope they consider replacing them. Overall, Tenuta Monacelle is a fantastic place to stay, and I will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding reception at Tenuta Monacelle this past Monday. We could not have had a better experience. Nicola and the rest of the venue staff were incredibly well-organized, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Our wedding had around 150 guests from dozens of different countries. At every step of the way - from planning the menu, table layout, order of events, etc. to the actual wedding day itself - we were consistently impressed. The big day went off with truly zero problems and Tenuta Monacelle managed to exceed our already high expectations. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to celebrate a wedding or other large event in Southern Italy. Best day of our lives!

Tenuta Monacelle is a deep soul place. Its architecture draws on the cultural traditions of Apulia and contains the stone, the stone walls, the red geraniums, the pinnacles of trulli, and the natural flavours. Staying here means finding a dimension of relax and authentic pleasure. Among the Valle d'Itria olive trees, close to the Adriatic Sea, in every corner of the estate, you can listen to a story of gestures, smells, and voices of an authentic land.

Beautiful surroundings great table food excellent , service friendly and professional however hard to get there in the mountains very narrow roads not recommendable at night .
This is a place for wedding parties so be prepared for busy evenings at dining facilities In Agusto 22 weddings in 31 days !

We have just returned from getting married at Tenuta Monacelle and I cannot rate this venue highly enough for the incredible service they provided. I am am English and my partner is Italian, from the first visit we knew the venue was the perfect place to get married. The grounds are incredible with lots of spaces to move to throughout the reception and the Trulli village is like a fairy-tale lit up at night. The food was fantastic and way more than we expected! All of our guests were impressed with the venue and some stayed longer for a holiday as it is well located near to some of the top places to visit in Puglia (Alberobello & Polignano a Mare especially).
Nicola (the events manager) was extremely helpful throughout the planning process as well as Remigio who helped my overseas family with booking the accommodation. We live in England but the planning process was made easy by the communication from Nicola (he speaks english & italian!), he arranged every detail of the night so it felt like having a wedding planner included in the price! All the staff at Tenuta Monacelle are extremely professional and provided excellent service, we couldn't thank them enough for the experience.
