This charming vintage hotel is all about its beautiful, quiet location directly at the beach. All rooms have full sea view and A/C, you take meals on an iconic terrace to the beach. From the terrace it’s only a few stairs down to the private sandy beach with complimentary sun beds and towels. Service is very attentive, keeping everything very clean and tidy. Best option to get to the lively Taormina old town is asking the receptionist for a driver. The hotel itself is old and its charming vintage style carefully maintained, so expect to make a few compromises with the rooms, e.g. there are real room keys and water pressure in the showers is a bit low. The breakfast was a little disappointing, there was no raw ham and only one kind of salami. In summary, this hotel is highly recommended, we‘ve been there three times and always enjoyed it very much.

This is a lovely hotel with a beach that you can swim, paddle board and snorkel at. The staff are all very friendly and have gone out of their way to make everything wonderful. The food has been amazing, especially with the view from the terrace.

Spent one night in Taormina and stayed at this hotel (two adults and two kids). We were lucky and got a room with a big arched window facing the sea with an absolutely amazing view. The hotel and rooms are vintage with what seems like a lot of original interior and appliances, but very clean and functional. For us the vintage interior gave the perfect ambiance for a trip to Taormina. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking space and beach beds on their beach with access from the lower floor was a big bonus!

I love this hotel, its charm personified. We went to sleep with the shutters closed listening to the sea, and when you open them in the morning the view makes your heart sing! Just to correct a few reviews, if your beach towel is wet, swap for a dry one, and there is bar service on the beach. Dinner served on the beautiful terrace is excellent and also excellent value. My second visit, I had to take my sister to see, and will be returning next year with more relatives. I hope this hotel never changes!

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The service was exceptional and staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We consider the fact that they kept a lot of the original elements of the decoration very positive, this makes all the charm of this wonderful place. The direct access to the sea is a major plus . Will definitely go back

The staff was very rude at the breakfast very bad service and very rude, Will not come again will not recommend I think we can all be nice people and make the world a better place I did not pay f*cking 500£ for a sh*tty service c’mon get a grip ………..

The staff were extremely helpful and helpful. We were treated like family. Leaving early on departure day, they offered to provide thermos of coffee and tea and pastries the night before. The restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices. There is a restaurant seasonal rotating menu in addition to the regular menu.

Great beach area & restaurant is good for food and drinks. Whilst restaurant prices are on par the rental costs for sunbeds is extortionate- £30!
