This charming vintage hotel is all about its beautiful, quiet location directly at the beach. All rooms have full sea view and A/C, you take meals on an iconic terrace to the beach. From the terrace it’s only a few stairs down to the private sandy beach with complimentary sun beds and towels. Service is very attentive, keeping everything very clean and tidy. Best option to get to the lively Taormina old town is asking the receptionist for a driver. The hotel itself is old and its charming vintage style carefully maintained, so expect to make a few compromises with the rooms, e.g. there are real room keys and water pressure in the showers is a bit low. The breakfast was a little disappointing, there was no raw ham and only one kind of salami. In summary, this hotel is highly recommended, we‘ve been there three times and always enjoyed it very much.

Spent one night in Taormina and stayed at this hotel (two adults and two kids). We were lucky and got a room with a big arched window facing the sea with an absolutely amazing view. The hotel and rooms are vintage with what seems like a lot of original interior and appliances, but very clean and functional. For us the vintage interior gave the perfect ambiance for a trip to Taormina. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking space and beach beds on their beach with access from the lower floor was a big bonus!

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The service was exceptional and staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We consider the fact that they kept a lot of the original elements of the decoration very positive, this makes all the charm of this wonderful place. The direct access to the sea is a major plus . Will definitely go back

Great beach area & restaurant is good for food and drinks. Whilst restaurant prices are on par the rental costs for sunbeds is extortionate- £30!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Many thanks to the staff for making my holiday special. Reception lady Yulia was the most helpful, housekeeping and the bar/beach staff did their best too. My room had a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was nice and it was served at the terrace.
I hope to revisit Taormina and stay at Lido Mediterranee soon.

Old school style hotel right on the beach- the staff were extremely accommodating during some difficult jet lag days with the kids and everyone was so friendly and pleasant. Unique property, located 10 minute walk to the loft into taormina centre. Fabulous location right on the beach! 5 star.

The original retro decor is back in fashion and it's a wonderful hotel. Our room was very clean and had a huge, comfortable bed. The view from the balcony, over the sea, was beautiful. The sound of the sea during the night was better than any sleep app. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and made even better by the view from the terrace. The hotel has it's own beach area and provides sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels. It's an 800m walk along the (mostly pathless) road to the Funiva (cable car) and the majority of the bars and restaurants.

Great place. Beautiful view and perfect location for the price. Staff were extremely helpful. We made an error and double booked a hotel and ferry for the next day in our trip. They made several calls for us and resolved it without issue.

This hotel sits on the beach ... Uninterrupted view of the spectacular sea. Outside sitting areas & garden are wonderful....full of gorgeous flowers & plants...romantic!! Rooms are nice but it's more about the location. ☺️ director Mr. Triffiletti is a Pro. We hear the waves which gives you an incredible feeling!!!!
