We recently stayed at this supposedly 4 star hotel. It was booked by a travel agency that used the on-line photos plus the 4 star rating. What we found was the hotel photos that didn’t match the real thing. Also, the carpets were filthy and threadbare on the stairways. We loved the fact that this hotel was full of 'oldie worldie' character. We didn't mind that the antique carpets were worn in places. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Family room was excellent. As advised in advance, it did not have a sea view but it had two bedrooms and plenty of space. Coming down to the breakfast room with it's panoramic view was a high light every morning. Similarly the pool had an amazing setting and view. WiFi was very poor (so 4 star for the room) in our room but I saw plenty people on laptops elsewhere around the property.

Well located between 5-10 mins walk from the famous isola Bella. Great restaurants nearby. They offer a private beach deal with shuttle service very nice. This is a lovely, small boutique hotel with the best location in Taormina. Sadly doesn’t have a pool but they have deals with local beach clubs who pick you and take you back which we did for one afternoon. Love to say the hotel is right on par with everything average, mostly because of its room rate, otherwise I would expect more from them, like the quality of breakfast, the ramp that the customers got to carry down their baggages to check in at hotel. Really nice hotel on the beach in Sicily. Rooms clean and spacious and serviced everyday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fantastic courtesy bus service to Taormina and return. Salvadore was a great driver and gentleman. Did a boat trip and jet ski which hotel staff organised from the beach.

I don't understand why people say that the hotel was old and crumbling. I think it was great and clean.

It is a unit in a 3-star hotel complex. There is no pool at Villa Bianca, which is actually called Pequeno Príncipe. I was in the best room (911) and the heated towel rail was turned off. The light board was exposed behind the curtain and there was an “X”, indicating that it was not to be turned on. Fortunately, all I had to do was move the switch and it was heating up in no time. The most amazing experience ever.  The view from our balcony - we stayed on the 4th floor and had the most magnificent view of the sea, the whole Taormina city.  Glorious during the day and spectacular during the night.  The breakfast was beyond expectations. Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

It's definitely dated but very clean, very relaxing and just enough away from the crowds that it was super enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and had parking which is so rare in taormina. Pool was terrific, no competing for lounge chairs. Room was a great size and compared to other prices, was very good value.

Booked a double room with a balcony & got allocated a single room with no balcony. Emailed hotel 3 times to refund difference in price & they are ignoring me. Real shame as good hotel in great location but no customer service & don't feel ignoring emails is the response you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing

Incredible sea views from room’s balcony, pool and breakfast restaurant. Room a little dated with sticky floors, just wear bedroom slippers. Toilet is clean. Superb location!! Hotel was 3 mins walk to bus stop that takes you to Giardini train station. And 5 mins walk to the heart of town. Try Bam Bar’s granita & have dinner after sundown at any of the restaurants nearby.

The room has an unbeatable sea view, facing the sea with flowers blooming in spring, and you can also see the misty Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. It is a bit expensive to take a taxi from the train station to the mountain for 25 euros. Young people without large luggage can try hiking or taking the bus. Good laundromat nearby. Hotel is a bit of a hike up sets of stairs, but nonetheless convenient to the main area of Taormina. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Carmelo. Our room and the hotel in general had fabulous views. We enjoyed watching the smoking Etna from afar, during our second breakfast.

My stay at this hotel was like no other! I stayed here for 3 weeks and never felt so much like home. The hotel staff are incredible itself, super nice and hospitality is amazing. My favourite part was the view. At the end of the day it does have a vintage feel but that made me love it even more. Im definitely coming back same time next year. The balcony had an amazing view of Mt. Etna and the city. We enjoyed the view a lot, but there were downsides. The beds were super uncomfortable compared to other locations we have been staying.
