Where to stay in Taormina

Beautiful hotel. I had a room with an amazing view. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea. Nothing to complain about. I was with a group and they forgot to give me my main course at dinner… and they had to make it later so I ate after everyone else. They were nice enough about it… but maybe a free drink would have been good :)

There is no doubt about it this hotel was fantastic! From the spectacular views of the hillsides and coast, the beautifully decorated rooms and interiors, the delicious food and drinks and the heart of it all… the staff! We stayed at the Splendid hotel for 7 nights and couldn't have been more pleased! From their front desk staff, to their pool bar, rooms and excursions planner Allesandria, we enjoyed every minute! Our family of 18 arrived and the staff could not have been more accommodating even ending our stay with a Sicilian BBQ and live music! We travel often and would give this hotel 10 stars if we could!

Located just outside of the town so not overly touristy. Staff and rooms were nice too. Breakfast had a good selection of food every morning. The rooms are very noisy though so you hear everyone who uses the lifts, walks the hallways and opens room doors. This got frustrating especially during the night when trying to sleep. We were lucky to get upgraded. Really enjoyed the balcony. Well isolated window front toward the street, although the walls were thin and the apartment noisy. The room we had also lacked a little space for unpacking the luggage as well as storage in the bathroom. But the breakfast, the service and the view from the rooftop were amazing and therefore worth a stay!

Located at the center of Taormina, taodomus hotel is very convinient.In case you have a car ,Porta Catania Parking is near where you can park and walk 200 meters.Very clean room and the staff is very helpful.The only (-) it takes is due to the fact they havent accepted a personal issue of me that i wanted to cancel the room without charge!

I didn't live in the hotel, but visited a beauty parlour in Spa. I made a manicure and pedicure here and was satisfied with the result, although it was not the best one, which I ever had. I wanted to change my hair colour here from mahogoni to trendy blond, but could not achieve the wished colour. The original price for coloration was 130 Euro, but because the result was not achieved, the owner agreed...

We experienced a very warm welcome by the staff at the front office as well as the room maid and the waitress at breakfast, which by the way was really yammy.

We stayed there for the whole week. This is the best family-style hotel you want from Taormina. It has an excellent private way to the beach (it is small) but under 10 mins on foot to other beaches. Friendly staff. Took some time to find the reception because it was only a window near the restaurant. Had a room with balcony, the view was amazing. The only minus was going by foot to the room. It is really challenge to go up from center to those hills. A scooter is a must thing to live there, or try to find some bus/taxi going to castelmola side.

My girlfriend and I have spent many lovely days on the beach at the Plage resort. We did not stay in the hotel, but non-hotel guests can rent chairs and umbrellas and experience the restaurant and the beautiful view of Isola Bella. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast's are simple yet sufficient for most people and the pool is large and well maintained. My only issue is with the lack of coffee.. no coffee in the rooms and room service...

FANTASTIC view from room 432, a junior suite perfect for our family of four. Great service. The hotel has its age, but that's part of the charm. The pool is super, also with the most amazing views. Great to have a drink or coffee and watch the kids playing and the ocean below. The carpet on the stairs needs to be replaced but is completely worn out.

A real 5 star hotel. Magnificent views from the sea facing rooms and the sun terrace. A free shuttle takes you up to Taormina old town. The same shuttle can take you back as well but you can just walk back downhill -- it is slightly over 1 km from the central square. Mind that there is no beach nearby and using the ones the hotel takes you to is expensive.
