Love this place! I can't imagine anything more romantic than strolling through a flower-filled garden, dining at their world-class restaurant (vegan and gluten-free menu, y'all, I mean homemade vegan basil mayonnaise and creamy pasta!), right above the beach!

A wonderful hotel with its own beach. The staff is always very friendly, hardworking and attentive. There is a shuttle to Taormina, so you can perfectly combine city and beach without stress

We came by for evening cocktails but wished I had stayed here for a week! Stellar venue with truly exceptional service. Amazing very unique cocktails and canapés in a refined setting.

Amazing place and really amazing private beach and pool. The food in the restaurant is amazing and really delicious... if we expect something new and amazing for a 5 stars you should definitely go there.

A lack of concern by the staff for two issues we raised. It did take a few hours for the manager to react but when he did his actions were above and beyond

Unfortunately the rooftop restaurant was closed when we were there in mid May, which was a little disappointing considering it is a major draw, but there are so many places around Taormina that its not difficult to find alternatives

My wife and I stayed here to cap off a two week trip to Italy and had an amazing experience. We arrived late in the evening and were immediately met with the warmest welcome by Alberto at the front desk

Reservations, recommendations, drivers and cabs. Wait staff, front desk, guest services. All top notch with a smile and in English. Steps from the Corso but quiet

I wish it was more publicized beforehand though. We had an ocean view deluxe room (or something like that), which was modern and comfortable with a balcony that had a great view

He always made sure we were taken care of whether it was making reservations at local restaurants, or just ensuring we had everything we needed at the hotel

The pool was not the biggest but my kids enjoyed it - the beach is just down the hill so that makes up for it , 20 min walking time including the lift/gondol

Magnificent views from the sea facing rooms and the sun terrace. A free shuttle takes you up to Taormina old town

Mind that there is no beach nearby and using the ones the hotel takes you to is expensive

This is now a 5 star hotel. Excellent service and appointments and a beautiful outdoor beeakfast patio with tremendous views. The only note is it has a 10 min walk uphill into the main street of Taormina.

2nd visit with 10 years apart. Still going strong. Most romantic dinner terass ever!!! Great food and service. Will definitely come back, hopefully in less then ten years.

Friendly staff, great views and nice cocktails. Checkout the spa - it rained when we arrived so had a Turkish bath and a sauna - the world put to right again

We had a fantastic time at the Hotel Ariston, staff are very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful, food was excellent especially the Sicily buffet well worth the money. Great pool area and lots of sunbeds

The Gardens are so lovely especially of a night time when it's all lit up, Cable car to the beach is a must amazing views, so many fantastic restaurants our favourite was Rosmarino

Location is not convenient to the beach, but was only a ~10 minute walk from the city center. From includes a kettle and a selection of tea and instant coffee

Rooms were spacious, clean and had a welcome gift waiting for us. The food in the restaurant was very good, and not overpriced. For breakfast, a large selection of food with freshly squeezed orange juice and great coffee

We spent a week in this hotel in May 2024. It was a particularly important time for us, because we were getting married in Taormina and our parents and grandmothers stayed with us in the hotel

This Hotel was a perfect location for me. Close to the town either using bus(a short walk to stop) or cable car(the same short walk) & beaches especially Isabella. The hotel has its own roof terrace with its own pool

Well located between 5-10 mins walk from the famous isola Bella. They offer a private beach deal with shuttle service very nice. WiFi is okay not the greatest and same with room, maybe a bit overpriced

The Hotel is a little tired in places but there is a certain charm about the place. All staff were very friendly & helpful. Helpful for planning bus journeys. I would definitely recommend staying here

It's very easy to take the cable car to Taormina that's 5min walk away. We would spend days on the beautiful beach Isola Bella and go to dinner to Taormina. It was the most perfect holiday

Down stairs is a large reception and bar area with outdoor seating and the dining room the predominant color being yellow, All the staff are older end and the service is excellent almost military precision at breakfast they move around like choreographed dancers making sure food is stocked replenished/ tables cleared and reset so people dont have to wait

If you are looking for a bright sparkly modern hotel this is not place for you. I had looked at this place when planning my trip to sicily and it ticked numerous boxes. % mins from the beach and the cable car and parking

The rooms were spotless as well as the pool! Again, the pool has an amazing view too! The staff were fantastic and so friendly, they couldn’t do more for you

The location is absolutely beautiful, you’re extremely close to one of the most stunning beaches (Isola Bella), Mount Etna and the main town

Staff on reception were more than willing to help and advise on trips. The staff in the restaurant and pool sides couldn’t be any nicer

Hotel Bay Palace was a lovely place to live for us 2015 where we spent 14 days in Taormina. The room was clean and functional and the pool was lovely with a lovely view over the ocean and the bay

Nice view from the room, Great breakfast, Management & Reception were welcoming, Reasonable price, and Great location ; near to the Cable car. Rooms are not fancy but will have everything you need.

And for the stay, I couldn't express more how much I love your hotel, the pool, the beach, the restaurant, very single aspect made my stay comfortable and pleasant! You take an elevator down to a cave which on one side has an opening with a beach with views of Isola Bella and on the other side of the cave you have an infinity pool with views of the coast and Etna

Hotel has beach side and pool / cove swimming accessible by elevator and carved tunnel. Lots of chairs for sunbathing and soaking up the views

Breakfast buffet on the terrace has many choices and the service is very friendly. Dinner at the restaurant by the pool was also top notch. We shared a local fresh caught fish (Lupo or Wolf)

Been to many places in the world but nothing can beat that. On top of that, the rooms are great and they have good breakfast you can enjoy with views of the coast and Etna

Service always kind and helpful. Beautifully located pool and beach hidden in a cave. Restaurant provides fine dining with a view. The only negatives are the bar prices

Stayed for 4 nights in a jacuzzi room with garden. Really nice clean room, great service. Because it was low season the bar and restaurant were not open but it’s just a short walk into town

The heat worked well (which was important in December). We stayed in the jacuzzi room - which was discounted because we booked at the last minute during the off-season

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! We arrived a little early and our room wasn’t ready yet, so we had drinks in the bar by reception. The room was beautiful and very clean

We could never work out if it was other guests or housekeeping making all the noise. People would also smoke in the downstairs foyer so we’d be greeted to that smell when we came out of our room too

Every morning first thing it sounded like furniture was being scraped around above us and then there would be talking/shouting outside our room

The location was excellent few minutes walk to center. breakfast was excellent. Everything you need were there. room size excellent and tea coffee in the room too. Nice balcony. beautiful bathroom with nice showers.

We preferred the main building, where we had a great view of the sea and the picturesque Mazzarò bay and close access to breakfast and reception

The newer building, with spectacular sea view, is accessed by some additional 100 stair steps up the steep slope

Loved it! The ocean view from the balcony was amazing! The dinner was really good. Villa Bianca Bar was cozy and 2 big glasses of wine for only 8€ ?You must try their salad with parmesan and celery!! SO GOOD!

Nice and very helpful staff! You could get disturbed by the car traffic in the early morning if you're in the main building. There is a narrow coastal road outside the main building

Great beach area & restaurant is good for food and drinks. Whilst restaurant prices are on par the rental costs for sunbeds is extortionate- £30!

Many thanks to the staff for making my holiday special. Reception lady Yulia was the most helpful, housekeeping and the bar/beach staff did their best too. My room had a lovely view of the sea

The hotel has it's own beach area and provides sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels. It's an 800m walk along the (mostly pathless) road to the Funiva (cable car) and the majority of the bars and restaurants

This charming vintage hotel is all about its beautiful, quiet location directly at the beach. All rooms have full sea view and A/C, you take meals on an iconic terrace to the beach

We consider the fact that they kept a lot of the original elements of the decoration very positive, this makes all the charm of this wonderful place. The direct access to the sea is a major plus

Old school style hotel right on the beach- the staff were extremely accommodating during some difficult jet lag days with the kids and everyone was so friendly and pleasant

Cable car is right across the street to take you to the top of Taormina, but staying on the beach is the ultimately luxury experience. Can’t recommend staying here enough

Was a wonderful paradise for us… the staff and hotel overall was amazing. Very welcoming environment, beautiful resort. The beach is a private beach with bar services. The town around it is also gorgeous

The rooms were beautiful offering the most spectacular view. Restaurants nearby all very well priced and beautiful food. I would most definitely come back to sea palace Mazzarò for my next visit to Sicily

Old types of rooms- is not a good choice! Mediocre breakfast (*5 hotel charge for eggs Benedict and different other options - is not a good deal, especially if you are paying around €1k daily)

Had my nails done which came out horrible, also we had the couples spa massage- it was terrible. The bath over flowed and the massages were not good, the room was quite dirty

I want to first thank the very wonderful staff who answered tons of questions and organized taxis when we needed them. I also appreciate the 24/hr reception. The rooms are a bit dated but overall have everything you need

The ocean view balcony was lovely. The breakfast I found to be really worth it! Especially as an American who wants eggs and proteins for breakfast, it was a very good price compared to going out

The rooms are very clean, the mattress are a bit stiff and the breakfast could be improved by adding fried eggs and English sausages but there is enough to satisfy you I am just a picky eater

The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk for the cable car up which was very easy to use. There are restaurants and shops near the hotel on a busy street so must walk carefully but manageable

We spent one night at Diodoro Hotel. Everything was perfect: fantastic view with incredible swimming pool, top quality service and very nice bedroom.

being just on the edge of town (5 minutes walk) but neighboring an incredible botanical garden/park this hotel is quite the find! Breakfast's are simple yet sufficient for most people and the pool is large and well maintained

Great to get a drink or coffee and look at the kids playing and the ocean below. The carpets in the stairs should be replaced however, it is completely worn down

We got room 316 which was a garden room but due to the location we did get a sea view. The private beach area is wonderful. The funicular is just a short walk from the hotel where you can go up to Taormina itself

We had an extremely memorable experience at La Plage. Location is idyllic, incredible snorkelling at the private beach. The staff are amazing - gents at the beach are very helpful. The reception staff are very helpful

After seeing rooms available, We decided to stay a few nights Our room was a beautifully updated bungalow with thoughtful lighting and conveniences you might not expect from a bungalow

It has 2 shops in 20m that had a big variety of products. The staff is helpful and nice. It is a very good place to stay. Close to Taormina and closer to the beaches

It is a very clean and well located hotel. The view of his restaurant is amazing and the menu really surprised us. I ate the best parmegiana there. It is 1 minute from Funivia and 4 min to Isola Bella

The location of the hotel is very good, the facility is built into the mountain. The view is fantastic, unfortunately the staff is not very helpful. The rooms were not very clean, there was dust.

Swimming pool clean and adequate. Best thing is the private beach and comfortable free twin sunloungers. Only downers are no coffee/tea provided and the 3 euro charge for beach towels

Amazing!!!! While the property is certainly magnificent, what differentiates this hotel from many other luxury resorts is the level of service which is off the charts

Very comfortable accomodation with a stunning garden and pool overlooking the sea. Stayed for six nights so we were really settled and enjoyed a truly relaxing stay that was attentive yet private

Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel, but at $2,500+ per night, it lacks any feeling of being in Italy, and since you’re just sitting by a pool, you could really go to any other Four Seasons with a view

First off, with no beach club, you really only have the pool, which is too small of an area for the hotel size, so it feels very chaotic and crowded at times

Cozy hotel in the center of Taormina with sea views.... friendly and polite staff, ready to satisfy a variety of needs. The hotel has internal paid parking for ten euros, but very convenient.. and the pool is very nice.
