Amazing place and really amazing private beach and pool. The food in the restaurant is amazing and really delicious... if we expect something new and amazing for a 5 stars you should definitely go there.

A lack of concern by the staff for two issues we raised. It did take a few hours for the manager to react but when he did his actions were above and beyond

My husband and I had a lovely time here. The service was impeccable and made my birthday feel very special. Can’t wait to stay here again.

There was huge balcony with two chairs and table. We asked sunbeds to there but answer was NO. Room smelled bad and behind the wardrobe was wet towel preventing some water coming from wall

There is a fantastic restaurant attached to the hotel that is 1st class serving beautiful food, lovely friendly staff and very attentive, a 2nd café a short walk up to Castelmola is highly recommended with views to die for, I would highly recommend this resort if your looking for peace and quiet you really need to look no further

Great hotel, ideally places in Castelmola. Some of rooms look directly onto Etna which is great to see in the morning. Fairly limited evening menu but I'm reviewing this as a hotel rather than eatery. Good facilities.

Very nice hotel, well organized. Beautiful views of Etna. If I ever return to Taormina, then I would stay here. The Caverns restaurant was surprisingly good. The woman who runs the whole show speaks fluent English

Very helpful staff and an amazing location if you want to venture out of usual tourist paths. Good gluten and dairy free breakfast, which was included. Made friends with locals and cannot wait to return!

Don’t buy into the ´dated look´ reviews. You either like that style or don’t! Pictures show what’s available so you know what you’re choosing. I personally loved the character of the hotel

Been to many places in the world but nothing can beat that. On top of that, the rooms are great and they have good breakfast you can enjoy with views of the coast and Etna

And for the stay, I couldn't express more how much I love your hotel, the pool, the beach, the restaurant, very single aspect made my stay comfortable and pleasant! You take an elevator down to a cave which on one side has an opening with a beach with views of Isola Bella and on the other side of the cave you have an infinity pool with views of the coast and Etna

Service always kind and helpful. Beautifully located pool and beach hidden in a cave. Restaurant provides fine dining with a view. The only negatives are the bar prices

Hotel has beach side and pool / cove swimming accessible by elevator and carved tunnel. Lots of chairs for sunbathing and soaking up the views

I didn't live in the hotel, but visited a beauty parlour in Spa. I made a manicure and pedicure here and was satisfied with the result, although it was not the best one, which I ever had

I am satisfied with the hair cut , it was professional and stylish. The place is clean and answers the requirements against Covid 19. Masks and distancing are used by staff and clients

They agreed to finish the work if I come another day, but I didn't want again to spend my whole day in salon. Anyway , they did what they could and I can not blame them for the result

Thank you and sorry for not coming another day, because I didn't want to damage my hair with daily bleaching. And if would stay more in Taormina, I would definitely come again here

The original price for coloration was 130 Euro, but because the result was not achieved, the owner agreed for 100 Euro

Wonderful location. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Hotel is a time warp of 60's and 70's style. If that is what makes you click - then this is the place for you. I love the style - it's 5 ? from me

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The service was exceptional and staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant

The hotel has it's own beach area and provides sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels. It's an 800m walk along the (mostly pathless) road to the Funiva (cable car) and the majority of the bars and restaurants

We consider the fact that they kept a lot of the original elements of the decoration very positive, this makes all the charm of this wonderful place. The direct access to the sea is a major plus

Great beach area & restaurant is good for food and drinks. Whilst restaurant prices are on par the rental costs for sunbeds is extortionate- £30!

Many thanks to the staff for making my holiday special. Reception lady Yulia was the most helpful, housekeeping and the bar/beach staff did their best too. My room had a lovely view of the sea

It was about a 7 minute walk to the main part of town. They have a sister hotel down on the beach so you can visit the beach for free

Unfortunately we could hear people moving around on the rooms above and adjoining our room and the wifi was only available on the first floor. We will definitely visit this hotel again on our future visits to Taormina

The entryway lead to a big room where we could rent a cot for the second kid. The cot was more of a portable single bed so worked for 4 nights. Then the adults had a queen bed in the same room as the cot

Good hotel for family of 4 This was one of the few hotels that we could find that could fit a family of 4 in one room. The room was laid out as 1 entryway with a single bed to the side

Window with a view of the ocean, amazing views off the terrace for breakfast or coffee. Small fridge to cool water in. Nice sized pool tucked up the hill off the top floor

The hotel has a beautiful view of the city and sea below. The staff was very accommodating, the grounds were scenic to tour, and the pool was very relaxing

I very much enjoyed staying here for a week. The private beach access and pool areas were very good. The only reason for a 4 star review was the breakfast wasn’t what one would expect at this price point.

The staff is great! The AC does not work very well and the breakfast buffet is underwhelming. They were nice enough to move use to another room with more windows so that we might be cooler.

We had some issues with the cleaning staff who wanted to enter our room twice before we checked out and breakfast was nice on the roof, but was shared with the pigeons and the coffee wasn't great as the machine needs a good clean

One of the best value for the price is the trip to the nearby beach called Playa Soleluna for only €15, which included transport from/to the hotel, sunbeds, and umbrella

The resort is beautiful, from the moment you walk in through the entrance which is a beautiful stone archway, you are transported. The staff welcomed up and led us to the patio over looking the beach for check in

Diego gave us great information for excursions. I also recommend walking over to Isabella and taking a tour of the grounds there. But wear your beach cover and shoes otherwise entrance is not permitted

and the bathroom was the worst the toilet seat was literally built in a stupid way where you can’t move your legs freely and the whole bathroom is tight! But the hotel’s location is amazing everything was good except the room and the fact that there’s a public beach infront of our room which was noisy and loud

The pool was not the biggest but my kids enjoyed it - the beach is just down the hill so that makes up for it , 20 min walking time including the lift/gondol

The view is breathtaking, the cocktails super and the staff very professional. Everything perfect, from the background music to the appetisers prepared by the chef

First time in Taormina with 3 kids (12,6,6) and from what I could read is the location of the hotel is important unless walking up/down stairs is part of your vacay plans

Housekeeping routinely came to check if we needed more towels and water which was always needed. We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect!

Not too small the shower was heavenly and after walking all day, the pool was a great place to relax and have a cocktail before getting ready for dinner. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating

This is now a 5 star hotel. Excellent service and appointments and a beautiful outdoor beeakfast patio with tremendous views. The only note is it has a 10 min walk uphill into the main street of Taormina.

2nd visit with 10 years apart. Still going strong. Most romantic dinner terass ever!!! Great food and service. Will definitely come back, hopefully in less then ten years.

The same shuttle can take you back as well but you can just walk back downhill -- it is slightly over 1 km from the central square

Cozy hotel in the center of Taormina with sea views.... friendly and polite staff, ready to satisfy a variety of needs. The hotel has internal paid parking for ten euros, but very convenient.. and the pool is very nice.

If you need a good location ( close to the gondola and beach) and you dont want to spend too much money then its ok. But if you are lookin for a 4 star hotel experiance just forget about it

Loved it! The ocean view from the balcony was amazing! The dinner was really good. Villa Bianca Bar was cozy and 2 big glasses of wine for only 8€ ?You must try their salad with parmesan and celery!! SO GOOD!

Nice and very helpful staff! You could get disturbed by the car traffic in the early morning if you're in the main building. There is a narrow coastal road outside the main building

We preferred the main building, where we had a great view of the sea and the picturesque Mazzarò bay and close access to breakfast and reception

If you wish to go to the beach they arrange day trips (for a small fee) to a beach close by

The villa Astoria is a clean and well maintained hotel. You get a good breakfast which can be eaten outside in the courtyard and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly

Lovely pool, great views, lovely staff and breakfast. Location not ideal for city centre because although it's close its a long uphill walk away.

Also, there is walking path near the hotel which leads you to the city centre but you must climbing so it is better when you use it when getting back from there
