Hotel Metropole Taormina

This time I booked a room with a terrace and a private pool.
The scenery is 10 points good
And it’s in the main street, so the location is very convenient.
But I found a lot of insects entering the private swimming pool.
The staff's attitude is very good and kind.

Quite satisfied. The cleanliness was great when I first arrived. Later, the cleanliness was sloppy every day. But the waiter was very enthusiastic.

Having visited Taormina for years and experienced many of the top luxury hotels in the area, I can confidently say that the Metropole Hotel offers a guest experience like no other. For us, there is no other choice when staying in Taormina. The Metropole has become our home away from home, where we feel a deep sense of connection and comfort that we haven't found in any other hotel in years. Their commitment to authenticity and exceptional service is second to none.

Environment: Great location, too close to the square, some people drink and chat loudly at one or two o'clock in the night, affecting rest

There’s some issue with my check in and the hotel staff wanted to send me away to another hotel. At last, it was settled after several negotiation directly with the hotel and through trip.com. After all, still a pleasant hotel to stay.

The best location in Taormina. We stayed five days. Excellent service and rooms. The beds are excellent. The views are amazing. The food is very good. Great breakfast spread and dinners are excellent. The staff is outstanding. Will stay here again

I recently had the pleasure of having a coffee at Hotel Metropole in Taormina, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Amelia at the reception, whose professionalism and friendly behaviour set the tone for a perfect stay.
The views of Taormina from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic view.
A special mention goes to Alessio at the bar, who took care to serve as the best Italian coffees.

In total, it was a good stay. The price 1150€ for 2 nights is insane though. I like that the pool is open 24/7 and there is a beautiful restaurant with a view. The property also offered an upgrade, which was nice. The rooms are white and cold, though. Also the rooms should be cleaned while the guests are having the breakfast, so they need to use the updated system for tracking that.
