Reviews
I was allocated to room 23. I cannot comment on the other rooms as I didn't see them but I can only hope that they were better than mine. Basic is being polite. The bathroom - I'm being as constructive as I can here - was rudimentary. It was basically a wet room 'gone wrong' - in order to have a shower I virtually had to stand next to the toilet on an untiled floor. The hot water took at least 5 minutes to come through (I was advised of this by reception). The bed, whilst reasonably comfortable, was wire sprung on a metal frame which squeaked every time I moved. (Stop giggling at the back!)
Storage space was minimal. There was an air of squalor - I can think of no better word.
On the upside the staff were friendly, approachable and sociable. I just wish the room had been better.
The room quality is horible they are small, the fourniture is old and broken. I realy wuldnt recomend it becuase there are a lot better options in the same price range.
We complained when we were checking out and asked for a refund. The receptionist said he needed to check with the manager. We called the next day and they didn’t get this complaint. We left an email according to their advice and didn’t hear back from them from then on.
Just to prevent this from happening to anyone else, we stayed in room 12B (the hotel receptionist told us that they will close down the room, but I doubt it at this point as they didn’t get back to us which they said they will) and we found another review suffering from bed bugs dating 5months back. BE AWARE!!!
- the wifi didn't get to our room otherwise everything was okay
Also want to mention that you have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to reception desk and rooms. No elevator available.
Amazing location
complaints are ignored and rudely commented on.
breakfast was sticky croissant and a bit of bread.
you have to give your key to the receptionist (who often isnt even there) when you leave and you can ask for any key and theyll give it to you.
they bent my key while i was gone (how and why would you even do that?????) and blamed me for it.
air conditioning isnt working and nights are either spent sweating or getting stung by hordes of mosquitoes.
do NOT go here
