Leone Hotel in Venice

Clean modern rooms with a small shower. Extremely friendly staff. We loved this hotel's location and definitely would stay here again. The beds were comfortable.

Beautifully renovated hotel on the canal next to the Guglie Bridge. We stayed two nights in a canal view room and loved it. Beautiful room and comfortable beds (either two singles or combined into one). This location is a healthy walk to Rialto and St Marks or you can catch water transportation right outside. It’s also convenient to the boats going to/from the Venice airport, or a short walk to the train station if traveling that way. We ate dinner one night at the Trattoria Bar Pontini next door, which was excellent. There are lots of great places to shop and eat all around but do NOT eat at the place just across the bridge with red umbrellas (outside hotel Marte). It was a terrible tourist trap (always check reviews!)

Would stay here again. Clean rooms but lacked soundproofing. Reception was friendly and helpful. Based in a good location with water bus stop (boat departs from airport) very close to the hotel and walking distance to train station.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here as a part of our honeymoon. Front desk staff was very helpful when we needed recommendations. The Grand Canal was SUPER busy so it was nice to be just a little bit away from that, but still super walkable without luggage to and from the train station. Room was clean and quiet.

Feels more like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. The manager accommodated all of our needs regarding Shabbat and Kosher. They gave us manual keys and lent us tape for the mini fridge. The location is also great because you don’t have to do so much walking to the train station or the Jewish ghetto. Would highly recommend those looking for a hotel for Shabbat or holidays. Spacious room, bed and bathroom. Everything was very clean. AC worked amazingly!

We like this hotel, it is not too big but it located in a center, very near the station. It has a good view to the canal. The room is very clean and new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They help us a early checking because we have child. Appreciate that help.

We had a pleasant stay.

Rooms - The room was cosier than expected but it was enough room for two of us, especially since we only need a place to sleep and store our baggage. There was an elevator for our luggage and safe to store valuables. Our room's mini fridge wasn't working too well but it was not a deal breaker.

Service - The manager and receptionist were friendly and very helpful when I asked for information. I felt they went out of their way to assist us during our stay. There is even a live camera feed on Youtube that shows you the area outside the hotel.

Location - The location was great as we opted to be closer to the train station and bus terminal. Unknowingly, the hotel was located right next to the water bus stop (thanks to the staff for advising us) such that getting to-and-fro the airport was easy. The walking distance to the attractions and food places was close by even under the summer heat. Supermarkets and cafes were all nearby too.

Overall, a wonderful stay for our two-nights in Venice. We would stay again.

This hotel deserves more stars! Great location near Gugli, boats stop before the hotel. Very beautiful room with locker, fridge, airco, ... The staff is very friendly and lives for their guests. We had to stay an extra night due to a cancelled flight and they arranged an emergency room. We love this hotel, no trip to Venice without Filú!

Great location. Welcoming staff. Great for coffee drinkers as machine in room. Not so good for English tea.
Restaurants and bars on your door step but also not too loud to relax in the evening
